Situated in west Texas along the Rio Grande, just north of the United States-Mexico border, El Paso embraces the past while building the future. Chamizal National Memorial, a museum and park, honors the peaceful settlement of the Chamizal boundary dispute while the University of Texas at El Paso fosters tomorrow’s leaders.
El Paso is known as the Sun City, boasting over 300 days of sunshine every year. There are plenty of venues to enjoy the frequent sunshine, including the El Paso Zoo, Franklin Mountains State Park, and nearby Wet n Wild Waterworld. The Rio Grande is a popular spot for whitewater rafting, canoeing, and fishing as well.
Should you want to head indoors, you have the option to catch a performance at the Plaza Theatre, indulge in authentic Mexican cuisine, admire the works in the El Paso Museum of Art, and tour the El Paso Museum of History in addition to the El Paso Holocaust Museum and Study Center.

Property Ratings at La Privada
Clean and beautiful property! The staff is very friendly.
La Privada has an amazing staff and management company!
The air conditioning didn’t work for almost the entire summer, it would blow 80 degree air inside my apartment. I had a small baby in that same apartment and no one seemed to care that it was too hot to live in. The front desk lady is rude, Emily was amazing though. Two of my windows didn’t have screens, the window pane didn’t meet the frame and bugs would always get in. They refused to fix it and even though our apartment was spotless after we left it we never got our security deposit back.

Departments The private one, I don't even know where to start, lousy customer service, staff I don't know if it's laughable or courageous because of the useless (except maintenance they are super workers and do what they can) old facilities, the air is evaporative but not they can't even hold a 200 sqft room, get ready for the hottest summer of your life, pool closed most of the season (they wait until summer to do the maintenance and remodeling of the pool). And to close our 13-month contract with a flourish, the last night there, someone open our cars and stool our things and no one cared, they even took away our posters that we made to try and get our belongings back. Another thing, even if you leave the apartment like new, they will keep your deposit and it will not have enough to cover the cost of repairs. I really do not recommend this apartment complex, do not waste your money.

We regret that your experience has not met your expectations. Our goal is to provide our residents with a beautiful place to call home, and we're sorry to have let you down. Although we departed on less-than-ideal terms, we wish you the best of luck.
Before Moving Here Please Check the following and prevent yourself from a year full of issues and bad experiences. The pool is been closed now for over a year, (never been able to use it since moved in). Police/Fire Dpt/ ER etc. come by at least twice a week for unknown issues that will make you nervous for sure. They cut out the water once a week too, for ' repairs and after hours of being out, they reconnect it, and its horrible water for days, (water and dusty). They hired a really bad company for cleaning purposes that it's actually never clean,, so get used to seeing trash, bags, and beers all around the parking lot and premises. And we are already on the last week of April and over 90 degrees, and no AC's installed yet, so yea, don't do it. You'll regret it.

Car and apartment were broken into, both were locked. The paint on the cabinets falls off with light cleaning. Water is constantly being shut off with no notice. Management is not helpful and is hard to get ahold of. I do not recommend these apartments at all.

WORST place to live in, they have a pest problem in a lot of the units the manager confirmed it herself. Air doesn’t work at all it only cools if you stand right on the vent.Water is not always hot/warm so I be taking cold showers. They turn off the water constantly to “fix it”. Pipes have an unpleasant smell. Lady’s in office are nice & supposedly help you but really don’t help at all. Rent is way to high you don’t get what you pay for....not worth wasting you time in this place.
These apartments are terrible they have a roach problem, the maintenance doesn’t fix anything right or ever. Your safety they can care less about. You pay way to much for water damage apartment and a roach infested apartment. Let’s not forget your paying more rent than you should. Best part they shut your water off with no notice. The air conditioning is worse they don’t care if you or your children sit in 90 degree apartments. Terrible customer service from the staff this place was worst mistake of my life.
The office does nothing when it comes to your safety. No matter how many times the cops come the office refuse to get security. They don’t fix anything right. You pay way more rent because of your allocation of bills and they have a roach problem. Oh make sure u lock up ur cars or they will get stolen. You can get a better place for these rates. Oh go head and live here if you always want your water shut off.
The office staff provided excellent service upon moving in which is why I to rented with them.
Excellent place to live must say has been a enjoyable experience. Friendly staff always service with a smile ??
The air conditioning is not enough during the summer, the apartments are like 40 years old, are falling apart, the walls and cabinets have like 80 coats of paint, the lease office management is always changing, they are infested with ants that go inside your apartment. Most neighbors are extremely loud. There’s no hot water in the shower.
