Considerably quieter than Las Vegas proper, North Las Vegas is a large, mostly suburban community that serves as home base for many of the region’s professionals. With Nellis Air Force Base right next door, North Las Vegas is the hometown for numerous armed service members and civilian military employees. Las Vegas Motor Speedway regularly hosts NASCAR and other auto races on the east side of town.
Craig Ranch Regional Park at the center of town is a popular spot for folks to stretch their legs and enjoy the scenic views of the city, with the mountains and The Strip on the horizon; it’s also home to a gigantic skate park and a major community sports complex. For weekend excursions into the rugged natural surroundings, Red Rock Canyon is under thirty minutes away and Lake Mead can be reached in about an hour.

Property Ratings at La Serena at the Parque
This property has been my home for over the past two years, and I have had a wonderful time living here so far. The most important things to me when renting from a property such as these, is that it needs to have a few amenities. These include, friendly staff, management, and neighbors. This place has all of the above. When it comes to quality and upkeep of the property, you can really tell how much work the staff puts into keeping the properties looking nice and neatly kept up. From the vegetation around the property to the insides of the units. The staff really takes their time, to make sure everything is working correctly. If ever I had a maintenance issue, it was resolved and taken care of promptly. They even helped install my tv on the wall. I regularly go and chat with the management staff just to see how they are, they are that friendly. The units themselves are unique, they are single story almost completely detached from the other units. This allows for you to be just a little louder when watching movies since you aren't connected directly next to another unit. The other awesome amenity of the 2 bedroom units is that the patio is completely private, and that allows for a more intimate lounging area. The patio is out for everyone's business with the 2 bedrooms and that part really sold me on the place. Overall, I am very impressed. There is little if any crime, and if there is, I don't ever have the feeling of not being able to walk around just to walk around the complex. I fully recommend La Serena at the Parque to live at. Regards, Andrew
I'm overdue with this review of La Serena @ the Parque. Moved here from Los Angeles April 2019 and my stay here has been a pleasant adjustment. Managers Carlos M and Dianne F have both been professional and accommodating during the leasing process and since my move-in. Couldn't have been more human. The building maintenance staff -- Jim and Mark -- always answer service requests quickly and efficiently whenever I've contacted them for fixes. Because they maintain the apartments so well, never anything major. Also, I cannot forget to thank Landscaper Rafael making sure La Serena always looks good.
lovely place to live...super service and personnel! "a great place to call "home". The entire staff always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to our needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. The grounds and facilities are kept clean every day by friendly courteous workers. The workout rooms are clean and rarely crowded and the pool area is lovely. I could not feel safer anywhere else.... beautiful and cute buildings with patios. FOR your doggie...a sweet - green well kept doggie park nearby inside the community... Amazing groundkeeper. Very convenient trash areas for each section, ample parking for your guest ... Perfect size community. I feel all the cars are safe here as well ~ regardless if you have a brand new car or not " LOVE LOVE LOVE it here! I very much recommended this Home Style community!
I just moved here 2 months ago I’m really satisfied with the place. Big space the apartments are beautiful inside. Management is really nice and polite. I will recommended 100%. Quiet, clean, nice neighbors.
Property Manager at La Serena at the Parque, Responded To This Review
Thank you for calling La Serena at The Parque your home. We are happy to have you as our resident.
The only reason we moved is because we purchased a home. Lived there for three years with no problems/concerns. The property upkeep is good. Maintenance (Jim) is awesome! No complaints. Thanks for allowing us to call this home for 3 years. -The Moore’s
I have not lived in an apartment for over 35 years, but luckily found La Serena At The Parque, after vigorously attempting to find an apartment in Nevada as was selling my home on the East Coast. I did a lot of research first, and thank God I did, and made a great decision to move to La Serena. It is a wonderful place to live and call,"HOME." It truly feels more like a home than an apartment, and probably why they are called, "Apartment Homes." It was an easy transition from my house 3000 miles away, to my new apartment, and Dianne, one of the the managers, corresponded back and forth with me several times, to secure my apartment, as there was a long waiting list. (Understandably so!) Thanks to DIANNE, my move went very smooth. Carlos, the other manager is also great, and both managers are so helpful with any problem or request you might have any given day of the week. The office is open 7 days a week, which is nice to know, and maintenance always on call. The grounds are beautiful, clean and picked up, and maintenance is awesome also. Jim, the "MAIN MAN!" is right on it, even is it's changing a simple light bulb to replacing a major appliance!! There is no crime, and is very quiet, and a security guard comes around every night. I felt very safe here, and would not hesitate moving back if I ever had to move again. The owners of this complex need to know that DIANNE, CARLOS and JIM are a great team, and are a definite "ASSET" to La Serena At The Parque Complex and Community, and because of them, make it a wonderful place to call "HOME!" Debra W.
We went just to look for my daughter, Diane is awesome and informative. She also sold me on the one bedroom. Love that they are single story and only you share a courtyard. I think we will all love living here. Thank you very much Diane??
I moved in here in July 2015 and love my apartment, it is very cute. I rented my apartment while living in Northern Califirnia, sight unseen. I think this will be my home forever, quiet, clean, safe and a great location.
I decided to move here from the East Coast, sight unseen, other than what is posted on the internet and not being familiar with the area at all. I've been living here for almost 4 yrs and I love it. The office and maintenance staff are very professional and diligent. If there is any maintenance that needs to be done, it is taken care of fairly quickly. The complex community does not have "riff-raff" neighbors and as far as I can tell, those who have posed a problem didn't live here for long after any incidents. The community is diversified, culturally and racially as well as varying age ranges. It is a safe place for singles and families with children. To me, it is an ideal location for those who may not drive because there are bus stops a short walk away and many stores and schools within walking distance. For those in the military or retired from, the base is not that far of a drive or bus ride away and there are quite a few who live here already. The apartments are very structurally sound and I hardly, if ever, hear my adjoining neighbors. The single-story design, to me, is ideal for those with mobility problems and also minimizes the sounds from neighbors. To me, the asking rent price is reasonable. The rent combined with the gas and electric is still way less than what I have paid for rent alone elsewhere. All in all, I am very pleased with my stay here.
I love , love that my apartments are ALL single story units with courtyards the entire length of the unit. The units are not really connected to each other they are almost like your own detached home. The best thing is its a smaller complex, if you need something they get it taken care of right away for you. I have been here for 5 yrs. I would love to win the money, my daughter just signed up for higher learning ,that would great if I could help her out. Thank you, God Bless.
I contacted LA Serna on a Sunday at 4:56 pm. Ms. Carmen answered and told me more about the property. I did not expect anyone to answer, however I was in the process of moving from another state. Well, in that conversation, Ms, Carmen had one unit available for the date I was moving in. with a $100 deposit to hold the apartment, I secured that last rental. Ms. Carmen for very helpful with getting all my paperwork faxed and signed back to her with no problems. she followed up with me at every step. my move in was smooth, with no problems.
I enjoyed my stay. The staff was great and loved the small home feeling of the place. My neighbors were quiet.
I love it no one is connected to you it is total privacy...neighborhood is quite at night...
LEASING AGENT TARA WAS SO HELPFUL AND TOOK HER TIME EXPLAINING EVERYTHING. TARA IS THE BEST!!!
I love my apt. The staff is great and the community is always clean.
