Property Ratings at La Solera
Terrible Communication and Unresponsive Management Living here has been a nightmare when it comes to communication. The management is nearly impossible to reach—no one ever answers the phones, and getting a response to an email is like pulling teeth. When you do finally get through, the service is dismissive at best. Maintenance requests go unanswered for days, sometimes weeks. If you value your time and sanity, look elsewhere. The unavailability and lack of communication are truly unacceptable.
The management is incompetent. It seems like accommodating their tenants is the least of their worries. The whole complex needs some serious repairs, starting with the water heater that breaks every other week and can take days to get fixed. I also believe they haven’t been getting the pest control people to fumigate monthly as was said when i signed my lease.
READ THE LEASE. It basically says they can charge you whatever whenever dispite their performance WITHOUT notice. My ac has not worked since I moved in and I moved in during the summer months. They failed to charge me for water in OCTOBER and charged me both OCT & NOV water in Nov, when I clearly had enough to cover in October then threatened to evict. The washer and dryer machines do not work, I had to use a near by laundromat to successfully wash my clothes or your stuck hanging them outside on a line. They clean the pool but it always seems to be closed. If you got the funds to handle their negligence then by all means move in.
I moved to La Soelra last month and I love the property. The grounds are well kept, clean, and just overall beautiful. It is clear the maintenance staff take pride in their work and in the property as they answered all my requests promptly and were courteous and kind when communicating with me. The property is located within walking distance to two supermarkets. The pool, and courtyards are well-kept and inviting.
I had a very easy move in process and my apartment was very clean. Thank you to the La Solera office staff for helping me move into this community. Overall, the place is nice and clean.
Today i called that apt complex to ask questions and Wendy help me she was kindly answering all my questions i liked the way she is all professional and sweet.
I checked the place out in person before feeling up a formal application. Shay was the one who gave me a tour of the place, as well as what to expect. She has been diligent and kept informed by reaching out to me directly, throughout the application process. Now that's what I call above& beyond. It makes me feel welcomed already to community. Thank you Shay! Billy G.
The La Solera apartments are under new management. I am really happy with how they have addressed my concerns in a short period of time with grace and a happy and caring attitude! These folks really seem like they WANT to solve problems and make their residents feel taken care of, cared about and valued! Thanks Team! Keep up the great work! You are appreciated!
How are you enjoying your Christmas but here in Onyx apartment or whatever name they tried to change it to is horrible, no hot water for the past 10 days in this freezing weather as of today Dec 26th 2022, they don't empty there dumpster until we complain, trashes all over the place, please don't make the same mistake I made, I can't wait for my lease to be over and get out of this onyx apartment, roaches are every where inside the apartment, maintenance is poor because they don't pay those guys and there front desk from the assistance manager to the rest are all rude, they full with lies always. This apartment should be no star rating because is nothing good to be write about.
Worst apartments ever. A week later I regret moving here. Definitely thinking about breaking lease smh. They never come to fix things. I move here Sep 1,2021. Today is 12/26/21 I put in about 4 requests for ac. This is Houston ac is a necessity thing. They haven’t come and fix the things that were supposed to be done way before they gave us the apt. No matter how many time you report and go talk to them they will always give you an excuse and they said tomorrow and that tomorrow never comes. They say that will come right back and never do. I’m in a 2 bedroom Apt. My light bill shouldn’t be $300 a month. Running ac and it’s hasn’t been cooling my place. Wasting all my energy. I’m disappointed cause I thought things were going to be different. And I’m becoming frustrate at my money wasted on electricity. Never, ever try to move in to these apartments. There’s many of other, reasons such as poor wiring issues. I had to use my microwave on my dining table for a month cause the outlets didn’t work. Put the request in took a month for fixed. Water shut downs, hot water out, bad parking issues, poor ac and heating system, and poor garbage handling inside apartment complex. You can complain in person, send emails, but its has little affect on its management. Sorry to write all this but its a great reality. So ready to move out. Sincerely a very furious tenant. Btw the other 5 stars reviews are fake. No one who actually live here will glorify these apts. Again horrible apts. Second management company since I been here. Just shut these apts down already please.
We are still trying to move out of this place. 1. The office will NEVER pick up your call. 2. They do not keep records of anything, make sure you take pictures and keep everything in your records because they will ask for copies. 3. they will give you a hard time to move out, they will say you have not notified us, they will not fill out your rental verification that other apartments need in order for you to move out. DONT MOVE HERE
Worst place to live. Won’t recommend anybody. They try to find way to ripped you off. Never answer any calls Won’t renew my lease.

New management sucks. The old peoples were good especially Miss Afghan. I’ve been living here since 2015 and now I’m thinking about moving bcz new manager is so rude she don’t know how to deal with customers. I had a parking space here since 2015 now they eliminated my parking space. She said I didn’t filled the parking form. I didn’t get any kind of letter or form from the manager. She eliminated my parking spot without informing me and saying that they stopped giving new parking spaces. I didn’t asked her for new parking spot. I still have my apt number on the parking spot but they removed it with the black ink and saying that we stopped giving new parking spaces. That’s sucks. Now I can’t find the parking space at night so I park my car to the nearest gas station. A lot of people moved from here bcz of them. I can’t move right now bcz I don’t wanna break my lease. I have to stick with them.
Property Manager at La Solera, Responded To This Review
Hi Umair! We have been experiencing issues with the reserved parking spots not being recorded from previous management, and they needed to be updated in our system. We sent a letter to all residents explaining the situation and requiring a response to keep their current spots. Our team erased all the numbers on spots that we did not have a response for, but we will reserve these spots again as soon as the resident comes in and confirms. Please come in and provide us with the proper information so we can reserve your spot. Thank you.
