La Veta Grand

I lived here for a year and it was the worst. Leaking roof when it rained took months to fix. Roaches outside at night, ants in the summer. They only give you one assigned parking with no storage and street parking is terrible. No storage closet in the house. the whole apartment felt like it was just painted over not cleaned.

Stayed here for one year. Staff is horrid, and rude. Apartments are subpar. Constant bug issues, including ants and fleas due to all the stray cats. Apartment Manger Bruno is a nightmare. Hidden fees that you don’t find out until after you sign a lease. Do not rent here!

This is amazing apartments? ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING APPLIES TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. 1) You have no life or company come over. 2) "FAMILY FRIENDLY" Only applies if you're kids never leave your apartment and No toys showing in the patio/ balcony. 3) Make sure that you never sick and need surgery. Because you Will get a 3day pay or quit noice. 4) Make sure paycheck is not affected if you have a government shutdown. Because these people are not understanding and don't care.

La Veta Grand is a great place to live. The location is great. The beautiful landscape makes for very pleasant park like surroundings. The amenities are great and the whole complex is spec clean. The whole staff is friendly, hard working and dedicated to provide a very enjoyable living experience. Repairs are done in a prompt and efficient manner, even after hours emergencies are handled right away. The Laundry facilities and fitness room are open 24 hours and are modern, clean and in excellent condition. There is a policy of not loud noises between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am, which makes La Veta Grand a very peaceful place. Dogs and cats are allowed and there are designated areas to walk your dog and lots of trash cans equipped with disposable bags to clean after your pet. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. Some units are upgraded with granite counter tops, hardwood floors, brand new cabinets and appliances, as well as custom paint. The units that are not upgraded are equally beautiful and in excellent condition. All units have double pane windows for energy efficiency and noise reduction. All units have central air and heat and filters are replaced every six months. All units have alarm security system and smoke alarms in every room. There are gas barbecues in different areas of the complex, even a picnic area. The playground is beautiful. The neighbors are great and there is a true sense of community. The management organizes different events for the tenants and families, including patio decorating competitions during the holiday season, pictures with Santa and egg hunts during Easter, among all. It is a gated community, which makes it safer and there are also security guards at night. Overall, I doubt you can find another place like La Veta Grand. A jewel in Olde Towne Orange.

So its not too bad, the place is secure and gated, we have 2 parking spots for the 3 room apartment, and I'm sure it would be clean if the last roommates bothered to clean. Claudia is nice, Joan is not. We found a dead cockroach, and there is a few spiders, but pest control will be coming weekly. The toilet downstairs runs too long and the one upstairs makes an awful noise when the bowl fills, but they're attempting to fix it. Water smells a bit weird, but that's what filters are for. The pool and hot tub are really nice, and laundry isn't to expensive. Finally, we are really close to Chapman and the Circle, things are pretty convenient. Not great, not awful, just average.

The staff is friendly at La Veta Grand apartments. Each apartment is currently being renovated with hard wood floors, new dark cabinets and new oven/stoves. There is limited parking for each apartment and there is a breed restriction/weight limit for dogs. The fitness room has recently received new machines which is certainly nice. The leasing office is out at the main pool which is a bit uncomfortable having them inside watching everything that goes on at the pool. They do have two pool though only the main pool has a hot tub. The complex is huge and very clean and close to the Orange circle and centrally located near the 57, 55 and 5 freeways.
