Unsafe inside and outside the building.

Living at Ladd's Apartments has been one of the most stressful and unsafe experiences of my life. The building is plagued by serious security issues that management consistently fails to address. Recently, a man gained access to the building and broke into my next-door neighbor’s unit, putting the safety of every tenant at risk. This terrifying incident is part of a larger pattern of negligence, including repeated package thefts, physical/ verbal harassment from other tenants, and unauthorized individuals frequently entering the building. On one occasion, I came home to find a man in the lobby engaging in inappropriate behavior—a direct result of the building’s lack of access control and security measures. Despite these alarming incidents, management has done little to resolve the issues. The security cameras in the lobby and hallways have been non-functional for weeks, leaving residents vulnerable. When I had a stalker come to my home, I had to change the locks myself at my own expense because no support was provided. Management offers empty promises but no tangible solutions, leaving tenants to fend for themselves in an unsafe environment. If you value your safety and peace of mind, I strongly urge you to avoid this property. The management's disregard for tenant security and well-being has made living here an absolute nightmare.
