Property Ratings at 2900 Wytchwood Dr.
Everything is up to date and brand new very comfortable i love the security system for the gates and the leasing manager is truly amazing! 10 out of 10
I love staying here at Lafreniere living. It’s a great area and Mrs. Corina is amazing
I live here, just renewed my lease. It’s a nice building love the location and our property manager is a sweetheart, she’s always with a big smile ready to help.
I had a wonderful experience living at this Apartment Complex. The leasing manager, was always incredibly sweet and professional, making the entire process—from move-in to move-out—smooth and stress-free. The management was attentive, responsive, and genuinely cared about the residents' needs. My stay here was very comfortable, and I would highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a great place to live.
Apartment is nice and brand new. Very nice appliances including washer/dryer. Extremely nice leasing agent. Great location and great because it has an elevator and trash chute.
If you're considering renting at Lafreniere Living, let me share my harrowing experience to dissuade you. This place is a landlord's paradise turned tenant's nightmare, with a host of issues stemming from intrusive management and dysfunctional property maintenance. Firstly, let's address the landlord. She has mastered the art of invasive behavior, barging into tenants' lives unannounced and prying into matters that are none of their concern. But their nosiness reaches new heights of absurdity when they start policing what you do in the privacy of your own home. Yes, you read that right. I was actually called "weird" for not wearing shoes indoors. When I requested that plumbers remove their shoes or put plastic bag over them before entering my living space (which, mind you, the bathroom was submerged in sewer water due to plumbing issues in the entire building), the landlord looked at me with utter disdain, rolling their eyes as if my request was beyond unreasonable. Speaking of plumbing issues, they're rampant and horrifying. My toilet and bathtub were both flooded with sewage, rendering my home uninhabitable. And the cherry on top? The landlord's feeble attempt to blame me for the problem, insisting that flushing toilet paper down the drain was the culprit and advised me to no longer flush my TOILET PAPER down the toilet. But wait, there's more. Prepare for unscheduled inspections while you're not home, the fire alarm going off at 3-4am at twice a month, halfway built apartments with refusal for repairs or additions while they raise the rent. For this same exact price I'm more comfortable at a neighboring apartment with a gym and a pool, which is not included here at Lafreniere Living. In conclusion, renting at Lafreniere Living is akin to signing up for a never-ending nightmare. With an overbearing, landlord, neglectful property upkeep, and a complete disregard for tenants' well-being, this place is best avoided. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your next rental.
Initially, the landlord exhibited a cordial demeanor, but this changed as plumbing issues emerged in my apartment, affecting not only my residence with sewage coming from my toilet and bathtub but neighboring units as well. This solution to the issue was her telling me not to flush my toilet paper down the toilet. During routine inspections, when I requested that she remove her shoes or ensure plumbers covered their footwear to protect my home's cleanliness, she dismissed my concerns and labeled my request as peculiar while naming me “weird”. Furthermore, despite ongoing construction, the apartments remain incomplete, leading to pest infiltration through wall openings and electrical sockets. Attempts to address these issues with the landlord yielded minimal response, often resulting in deflection and expressions of frustration regarding her responsibilities. Additionally, an attempt to pass the plumber's expenses onto my rent account further complicated matters, highlighting a lack of understanding or disregard for proper billing procedures within the system
The apartment itself is great. Great appliances, but there’s some imperfections with the cabinets and outlets. Walls are super thin, so I can hear everything in the apartments on each side. Living by the park was really nice. The elevator was not working half the time that I was living here. The “security” gates work, but no point of them because people leave buckets there to leave the gate open. The neighborhood seems to be relatively safe, however, I wish there was a security gate for parking and that the entrance gates were actually working to ease security concerns. The tenants are nuisances. Blasting music at all times of the day without any regard to people working from home or those who work overnight and need to sleep during the day. They also leave trash everywhere and don’t abide to no smoking rules. Several complaints filed with management but doesn’t really do anything. Management is nice, but sometimes there’s a lack of communication from management, such as elevator is working/not working, when power is out, etc. Management is also not always here during office hours. There’s no maintenace tech for this apartment building and management seems to act as maintenance. Tickets will be open for a long time before issues are resolved. Overall, you get what you pay for with this apartment. It was a steal before the raise in rent prices.
The apartment is nice and so is the leasing agent. I gave it 3 stars b/c the elevator does not work (it has been tough living on the 4th level because of packages, furniture and groceries). The walls are really thin and I can hear people through the vents some times too. Also even being on the 4th level I can hear foot steps. I do feel like there could have been more closet space (1 bedroom only has one closet that isn’t much room).
Moved on the forth Floor early this year. Was promised the Elevator would be working soon. It has be several months and the Elevator is not working. Its Difficult going up four Flights of stairs in the heat with an Elevator that does not work. There is no ETA as to when the Elevator will work if ever. Very Disappointed.
First I would like to say the lease / office staff was a sweetheart ! She was very helpful & knowledgeable/ patient with me ! This place is very quiet , clean , and one thing I truly love is that this apartment have an elevator! Sweet !
These apartments are extremely nice, especially for their price. The property manager was really kind and extremely helpful, handing out the information I needed. She answered all of my questions and gave me a detailed tour of the property. The location is perfect to live in, especially for kids, since it's close to the park.
You must see this beautiful brand new property! Great Location! Lots of Amenities! The office/leasing staff is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating in English and Spanish! Moving in was a breeze and the staff was more than helpful and welcoming.
These apartments are so nice and love that they are brand new. The place is clean and super organized, the manger was sweet and got back to me within the day. I signed my contract that same day!
I went by the property to check out the 2 bedroom apt and the property manager was so incredibly knowledgeable and sweet. She answered all of my questions and showed me around. The property is really nice and in a good area.
I really like the apartment it was spacious and a very nice price. The manager lady was very kind and easy to reach answering all my questions very welcoming.
Love the place, and the property manager is super sweet. We are going to put an application The building didn’t have a phone line until last week.
These apartments are nice for the price. However, the property is very hard to reach and the lady who seems to be the manager is not helpful, and she was very rude to me. I don’t expect to hear back, their number doesn’t even work.
Idk how people that live here, live here. I have called, emailed, went by and even texted the leasing office. NO RESPONSE. Literally it seems like about 3 people lives there. there are signs saying “Leasing Now” and “Leasing Office Here” but it’s empty. The leasing office door was closed and locked. Very odd. Red flag, don’t waste your time.
I’m not sure how the other person got a tour. I’ve been calling, emailing & leaving messages & have not received a response yet. Today, I stopped & I’m assuming the leasing manager came out of the door & then hurry up & went bck in & shut it when she saw me. Very rude
I just looked at this property ( even though it’s still being worked on) and it looks really good. The property manager was really very nice and helpful to me. She took her time to show me around and answer all of my questions. This property is really going to be the place for people to live and being close to the park is a bonus!
