Biloxi’s long history as a Gulf Coast resort community has earned it the nickname “The Playground of the South,” and you’ll find that that nickname is still quite accurate. In addition to the sugar-white beaches, the local gaming industry attracts folks from all across the South, and locals get to take advantage of the stellar entertainment lineups at the numerous casinos in town.
Seafood lovers will be in heaven, as the local shrimping and fishing industries deliver fresh catches daily to dozens of Biloxi restaurants. The city offers direct access to beautiful white sand beaches, and it’s not hard to find surprisingly affordable condos overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. As home to Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi supports a large population of armed service personnel and civilian military employees, and it’s quite common to spot C-130 variants in the air from time to time.

Property Ratings at Lagniappe of Biloxi Apartment Homes
Space is great but the pool is closed often, the grills aren’t maintain, which is to say they aren’t usable. The gym is tiny and half the equipment doesn’t work. These are your markup items. Maintenance lacks for this price. I had ceiling that was coming undone, they painted over it, it’s was falling again in a month. For this price you’d expect at least a parking spot. Wrong again. The dumpster guy also bangs the dumpsters 5-8 times when they come.

Thank you for the kind words and recommendation. We appreciate you.
I am a current resident here and it’s an amazing place to live the atmosphere is so welcoming, the office staff is super friendly and are constantly putting on activities for residents to show appreciation and I love it because it shows they care for resident like us, they keep grounds up and clean, pool always looks amazing, and maintenance is amazing they come out at anytime for emergency they are quick to respond and get it done quickly. They are so good I almost never have a repeat call for the same issue, amazing place and atmosphere 10/10 highly recommend.

My stay was bittersweet. I loved the apartment itself. The renovations were beautiful the grounds were clean and my neighbors were loud but not enough to complain. The office staff on the other hand are unresponsive, lazy and incapable of doing anything the correct way. They were all so nice and hospitable before I moved in but just as soon as I signed my lease that all went away. I just recently moved out a few weeks ago due to an inevitable job transfer. I gave them a 60 day notice and was told it’ll be contingent upon move out that I pay the move out fees before 90 days or it’ll be sent to collections in which I agreed. So to my surprise yesterday I was sent an email saying I had 30 days to pay my move out fees or it’ll be sent to collections. I contacted them immediately only to be told that she’ll speak with management to get the issue solved and she’ll call back, I have yet to receive a call back.

RUN – don’t move here, looks nice but my experience with their leasing staff makes me glad I never moved in. I was approved for an apartment in Feb for a late march move in. First, somehow in the couple hours between choosing a unit and finishing an application i was told the unit i requested was not going to be available. I had to choose another less desirable unit but moved forward. I then was told by the leasing agent Abril had to pay the bond for the security to their partner company LeaseTerm right away to get a lease made. I did this, but no lease was ever made. Well i had a change in plans and canceled my move in a couple weeks later (never getting a lease to sign anyway) and requested the security bond be refunded as i wasn’t moving in. Told that couldn’t happen, as LeaseTerm can't do refunds. So i spent 3 weeks trying to email and call that grimy company with no response, finally reached a person who said they would gladly refund the fee if the apartment management signed off on me not moving in. Called Abril, explained what they said, spoke to the property manager who said that they shouldn’t have asked for that fee so soon anyway, it's usually collected about a week before move in and she'd call and sort it out with LeaseTerm. She then went on vacation for a week without calling. She gets back and somehow can't get a hold of the sketchy LeaseTerm company (neither can BBB who I filed a complaint through - wow). Finally, after another week of trying they manage to but get mixed messages, the company's rep will allow a refund but not their general manager? Ok...well they won't do any more, say they'll give me their regional manager's contact info. Sat on that until i hounded them for it. Emailed her, no response in 10 days. So, I’m out a fee i paid for a service never rendered (never given a lease and never moved in but paid security). I have never dealt with such disfunction, poor communication, lack of understanding of general procedures, and an apartment partnering with such a sketchy security bond company in my life. Dodged a bullet not living in this place but I’m out hundreds due to their incompetence. They’re now ignoring me and BBB. Such a mess, been going on for two months this way.

We hate to hear that you had a negative experience as it is always our goal to provide the best possible customer service. Generally, once fees are paid they are non refundable. We also understand that your plans to move changed and that this is an inconvenience. We are researching this further and will be in touch soon.
I loved living here until recently. Management misleads residents, says one thing then says they talk to so many people they can't remember what they tell who. My new neighbors are hoarders. They were told to pick up the mess in the entryway and an hour later they've put a different mess outside. Don't choose here. You'll regret it.
My husband and I had made the decision to downsize. after looking at several properties and not finding satisfactory choice, either disinterested staff or the complex was unsuitable and lacked amenities. A friend recommended we contact Maria at the Lagniappe, he has lived there for two years and could not say enough good things about it. Thanks to David everything he said was true and then some. Maria was awesome she went above and beyond to address our concerns. She even met with us after hours for us to take some measurements and helped with the application process. She is a true professional! We have already recommended Lagniappe to one of our friends and co-worker and he is moving in in September as well. Thank you Maria we could not be more excited about our move.
Noisy awful apartments! With the roaches. The office only cares when you signing the lease otherwise you're on your own as far as complaining about noisy neighbors or anything else. I regret moving into this place.. Can't wait to move out!! One star is way too much but it wouldn't let me submit without it.
My apartment is located near shopping and schools. The units and common areas are excellently maintained. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. It is a wonderful place to live.
Lagniappe of Biloxi is a wonderful place to live. The community is gated and secure. There is 24-hour courtesy officers and the staff in the office was so kind. Matthew was honest, polite and spoke directly to us when we were talking. The apartments are all beautiful and the maintenance crew keeps the landscape very tidy. The fitness center is small, but has everything you'd need to work out (treadmill, elliptical, free weights, bench) and the kids have a seperate, private playground towards the back of the property. I honestly have no bad things to say. Hey, neighbors can be loud but that can happen anywhere. I'd give them an A . -MB
I loved living in Lagniappe of Biloxi. I never had problems with neighbors or noise and the courtesy officers were obviously very aware. The office staff with extremely pleasant every time I needed anything. My favorite part was how the office staff always had contests and competitions for things. It made it feel like a tight community. I'd live there again in a heartbeat.
The walls are thin, and the neighbors are inconsiderate. To make matters worse the staff did nothing to help. They even lied to me several times.
I cannot say enough about this place its awesome!!! Staff is so sweet and always trying to please, the insulation in the aparments are super and iits so quiet and nice... Maintenance is so fast and always there to so what is needed 24 hours and its done sometimes faster i would refer this place tto everyone.. Its all about the residents as it should be.....
