Apartments for Rent in Winter Garden FL - 1,970 Rentals

Winter Garden, FL Apartments for Rent

Established in 1908, Winter Garden was a major force in the citrus industry around the turn of the 19th Century. And while the orange groves are (mostly) gone, there's still plenty to love about this "sweet" city. It is situated on Lake Apopka, just about 12 miles northwest of Downtown Orlando. Winter Garden is a beautiful suburb, containing a historic downtown shopping district with more than 26 historic buildings. It is also offers access to Florida's most popular rail trail, the West Orange Trail, which extends 22 miles and leads to Apopka. With its vibrant arts scene, Winter Garden is known for its galleries and art exhibits.

While this fantastic city provides fast access to the theme parks (Walt Disney World is just 17 miles south), there's plenty to do in Winter Garden, as well. The historic Garden Theatre, located downtown, hosts more than 200 events each season. You'll also find two museums downtown -- the Winter Garden Heritage Museum and the Central Florida Railroad Museum. In addition to the terrific shops and restaurants you'll find in the pedestrian-friendly downtown district, Winter Garden is home to one of the region's most popular shopping centers, Winter Garden Village at Fowlers Grove, located near the Beltway.
