Canton’s most recognizable landmark is the Pro Football Hall of Fame, a shrine to the legends of the game and one of the state’s biggest tourism destinations. The annual Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival is the city’s flagship community event, featuring a parade, cook-offs, a hot air balloon festival, and the inter-league exhibition game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
The Canton Arts District has grown into one of the city’s signature attractions, a popular section of Downtown full of studios, galleries, and performance venues. The growth of the Arts District has also spurred renewed interest in Downtown, which has seen a new crop of restaurants, coffeehouses, bars, and breweries appear in recent years.

Property Ratings at Lake Cable Village Apartments
I lived her for 3 years and I've always had and infection of something. 1st it was gnats next it was a bad infestation of pantry moths and ants. Both were kind of controlled by myself, but what took the cake was the infestation of roaches and only gets swept under the rug and not treated as an emergency. The person only comes on Fridays if you call before Tuesday and only if your request gets through. The only good thing about this apartment is the school district and pet policy. That's it!
Lived here for 3 years out of high school. Absolutely do not recommend moving into these apartments. The noise from neighbors was the worst part. Constant speakers blaring music, the people above me squeaked the floors constantly at all times of day. The floors are so thin and old that the squeaking is impossible to ignore. It was miserable. Hallway and rooms smelled horribly like weed due to neighbors smoking. Top floor apartments may not be bad because there won’t be anyone above you. Other than that, lake cable is not worth your time.
the air conditioner and heater blows mold chunks and barely blows cold air. My toilet gasket wore out and started leaking onto the bathroom floor the week I moved in. It leaked dirty water into the downstairs apartment. A couple months in the AC started leaking water into the living room floor. 3rd time they have been at the apartment and still refused to replace the moldy AC. Hallway smells like weed, the ceilings are trash so you can hear your neighbors pretty much doing anything. I wouldn't recommend this apartment even to people I hate.
nice inside but the outside, trashy. management Is rude and unhelpful, neighbors are loud and rude. 19 and my first apartment and I was scared to live there. driveways aren’t ever done, maintenance never comes. The worst experience.
They tore down quite a few of the carports available for covered parking. They were destroyed from maintenance of having carports not being executed. As a former tenant I feel bad for those who rent and no longer have the option to park their cars under shelter for the winter months or during storms. The place is worth it for the price, as it is one of the cheapest in the area that allows dogs and cats. But the low price really shows when the paint starts to chip off your walls, and the stuck on "hardwood floors" are peeling off / uneven. Also "updated" apartments may not be fully redone, many have 2 new Windows, then the other two are still "secured" with a piece of wood, and continually grow mold on them. The area is nice, there are little walking trails down in Devonshire Park. We didn't have issues with our electric bill being high, but we only heated and cooled areas we were in. We didn't use the baseboards at all, we would check to make sure they worked and turn them right back off. We used little space heaters instead.

Hello. Thank you for your time. We appreciate your feedback as we are always searching for ways to improve. We are disappointed that you were anything less than fully satisfied with your experience. If you have any outstanding concerns that you would like to discuss with us in further detail, please feel free to give us a call. We wish you the very best!
Signed for a year lease, biggest mistake I could imagine. I’m on the third floor, therefore it’s super hot. My air conditioning needed fixed every time it’s turned on. My carpet hasn’t been replaced in forever, as you can tell from the stains everywhere, and the fact it’s a flat as my tile. My bath tub is broken, no drain stopper, and the shower head falls out of the wall. My oven was broke for three months before it was fixed. And my refrigerator drawer was cracked. And not to mention, the appliances are so expensive it made my electric bill over $200 every month, and I wasn’t ever home but to shower and sleep. Maintenance is absolutely horrible at keeping up with the place. It smells like wet dog, cat, and mold in every single apartment. And nothing makes it go away. Also enjoy paying the $6.00 for a load of laundry in a machine that can’t even hold half a hamper of clothes.
Don't trust exactly what you see in the models, the maintenance is inconsistent at best. Moved in and our neighbors above decided they didn't want anybody below them, so they stomp and make crazy movements at whatever time at night. If you're a top floor then it might be ok but make sure your upstairs neighbors aren't all overweight and four of them cause the floors are paper thin. Management won't do anything about it, after talking to another friend in the apartment complex he suggested wood screws after management seemed open to the idea but after never did anything. Blides are busted and screws are coming through the ceiling, just make sure you do a noise investigation, cause if you get trapped with bad neighbors it costs $500 to move. They offer a student discount but between my neighbors, noise level and roommates mental health had to drop out. Also, neighbors didn't run the water over the winter guess which ones and caused flooding had to use a day of PTO to clean up. Management sent a water extractor who at least came once before bailing on us the other two, also the carpet of the entire floor was replaced with the exception of ours now it's warmed up and the place is starting to smell like mildew
Great location right outside Belden Village. Close to the highway. Very peacful. A little old looking and the AC units are dinosaurs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Recommended this place to several coworkers.
This is a great place if you work or have school in the Belden Village area. Its located across from Lake Cable and is less than 8 miles to the football hall of Fame!!!! IT includes a washer and dyer in all apts. Also a great staff to help with any questions!
Overall, Lake Cable Village apartments is not an awful place to live. Now, this is the first apartment building I have ever lived in, so I do not really have anything to compare it to. Choosing the community was a bit of a last minute decision because we needed to move quickly. If you search other reviews like the ones you find on Google or other apartment sites, you will likely see many awful reviews that just completely dogging the place. That is what I mainly wanted to address with this review. On other reviews, you'll see things such as the management lies all the time; the maintenance crew is anything but helpful; places are gross and falling apart; the neighbors are crazy; so on and so forth. Well, yes. A lot of this is true but you also have to make do with everything. This place consists of hundred of apartments inside dozens of buildings. This takes a lot of work to manage and maintain. I used to be so anti-Lake Cable and reading everyone else's reviews online and seeing how accurate they were, only fueled my fire. But, things have really calmed down around there. Some of the issues that we had included loud, noisy neighbors; rude maintenance workers; attitudes from the leasing office; messy roads from leaves and rain; etc. Well, the folks above us moved out (thank goodness) and we have gotten used to the guy across the hallway who's normal speaking noise is very loud. The attitudes from leasing office, well, that is what it is. From my understanding, there was a management change over here within the last several months so, I suppose that problem worked itself out. The reasoning behind the rude maintenance workers is because they cuss a lot while in your apartment and are super unprofessional. They replaced our AC unit (for free) but they made a really big mess and left marks on our carpet from it. As far as the messy roads and poor upkeep goes, I suppose that falls on the responsibility of the township or the city, I would think. The moral of my review for Lake Cable Village apartments is that you get what you pay for. These are the most affordable apartments I've noticed in the area that allows pets and pays for the trash/sewer/water. They are responsible for a lot of apartments and a lot of tenants. If you look at everything surrounding you with a negative outlook, than yes, Lake Cable is not for you. The place is not perfect but I'd be weary of a place that claims they were. Lake Cable is great for people starting out, like we are.
I lived in these apartments for 3 years and they are amazing they are spacious and comfortable they have everything you need and more! They are perfect to raise a family in or for a couple just starting out!
Lake Cable Village Apartments are a great place to live on a modest budget. Clean, friendly, and safe, just like home should be.
