Property Ratings at Lake Meadows
I have lived here for over five years and through several managers and maintenance workers. I am regretting renewing my lease for the first time since living here. I ask for new carpet because mine is over five years old, very worn and pulling apart at the edges and the seams...answer they gave me was that new carpet was not in the budget but they had the budget to redo the office and add a volleyball area, that I have not seen any one use...I have needed my bath tub resurfaced for several years but was told I would need to leave the apartment for a week due to the strong toxic smell yet they resurfaced the vacant apartment above me and the toxic smell made its way downstairs through the vents into my apartment and they had no concern about me or the toxic smell at that time...Every maintenance problem that I have had has taken them over a week to respond and sometimes weeks to complete once it was started. I am currently having issues with my one toilet and there seems to be no hurry for them to fix the problem. The apartments are quite and my neighbors are great, I am very disappointed in the office staff and maintenance. Cheryl B.

Lived here years. It's like a spot in the middle that hasn't been disturbed. Quiet, good neighbors & friendly. Great place to live. Near the lake & hwy straight to dallas
We (me and my fiancé) first moved in these apartments in May of this year. At first we were very happy to live here. Me being pregnant we wanted to make sure we had a place that was safe sufficient enough for us to raise a baby in. I can say that they seem to be safe and quite so far but as far as trusting in maintenance of your unit don't count on it. We had no AC for 24 days in the middle of July without any hope in management due to false promises, we still tried to maintain a good attitude. By the time we were able to get our AC back it was August 3rd and were hoping to be compensated for our rent because the apartment was not livable during that time. In all we had to go to the head management company to negotiate something that was fair so that we wouldn't be completely cheated out of a whole months rent. My advise to anyone wanting to move here is to do your full research and ask a lot of questions especially concerning maintenance. Other than that it's still a quite place to live. Best wishes to you all.
