Historic landmarks are part of what make East Cleveland so unique. Nela Park and Forest Hill Park are both in the National Register of Historic Places, and their influence on East Cleveland is irreplaceable. Nela Park, the headquarters of GE Lighting, was the first industrial park in the world, and is renowned for its beautiful, university-like architecture. Every year, Nela Park features a popular Christmas light display that's beloved by residents and visitors alike.
Join the community in the great outdoors at Forest Hill Park, a historic urban park that was part of John D. Rockefeller’s estate. Enjoy this majestic hilltop setting overlooking Cleveland, and catch a glimpse of Lake Erie in the distance. On this 235-acre blend of meadow and forest, you’ll find an array of tennis courts, ball fields, and park equipment.

Property Ratings at Lake Park Tower
Friendly and Helpful staff. Quiet building with friendly neighbors. Nice view of Cleveland and surrounding suburbs as far as the eye can see from the gym or party room.
I visit lake park quite frequently for family and I love it. The view is awesome/amazing/beautiful, the staff is very nice and helpful, and it's a very clean property !
This building is a perfect view from Downtown Cleveland and if you look far enough you can see Lake Erie and the boats sailing across. During Labor Day weekend you can see the airshow going on from your window and watch the jets practice before the show begins. If you are looking for some peace and quiet after a hard day's work or coming from school, open your shades sit back and relax, because at times you have an almost unreal view of the sun setting. If you are more of an outdoor person this apartment building is minutes away from a place called Coventry Village that gives diversity to the neighborhood and the strip of shops cater to people of all ages and makes you feel like you belong, from artwork, concerts, and great food to a little vegan ice cream shop, and market to do your grocery shopping at, this little place gives everyone something to appreciate. The apartment itself does have an outdoor pool and a fitness room filled with new equipment. This is an ideal building for a person who wants to be in between the suburbs and minutes away from the great city of Cleveland!
The location of the building is very convenient. My job is two miles down the road, and there are lots of places in the area to shop at. I can be essentially anywhere I want to go within 20 minutes. Grocery store, cinema, electronics store, clothing store, and anything else.
The apartment prices are very reasonable. It is located near Superior train and bus station. The apartment is within walking distance of the circle (about 2 miles). The staff is friendly and quickly responds to any repair request. There is a pool but I have never visited. There is also indoor parking, for a fee, which is very convenient during the winter. Some of the issues are that one of the three elevators seem to be broken quite often. Some of the halls are in bad shape with some of them having open leaks. There is also the smell of weed emanating from other rooms (though the staff does warn that anyone caught will be evicted and reported to the police).
I moved into Lakepark Tower after seeing the gorgeous view of the city of Cleveland from my now home for the first time. It was terrifying finding a place to move into after I graduated college, but Lakepark offered me totally reasonable rent, incredible amenities including a pool, fitness room, free water, air-conditioning and heat (which is a godsend in the ever-changing Cleveland weather). I am within a five minute ride to Little Italy, the RTA stop, Coventry (for your inner hipster), Uptown Cleveland with University Circle and all of the cool restaurants and bars any recent grad could want. Additionally, there is totally easy access to all the major freeways and 15 minutes from the city. What more could you ask for?
