Lake Pointe

Management couldn’t care less. No responses to voicemails, and they rarely answer the phone. The actual apartment looks nothing like the model, it’s the “landlord special” with nail holes, paint everywhere, painted over nails, and the apartment was not cleaned. We vacuumed cat litter out of the carpets and cleaned urine spots in the closets. Multiple cars have been broken into in the parking lots. Cheap rent but they get you with $100+ in utility bill PLUS electric on top of that. Not worth your money or time.

Toured apartment with my daughter and had excellent experience all around. Staff were super helpful and welcoming. Property showed very well. Great option for us

Pros: great location, friendly staff, and friendly neighbors! Cons: limited parking near my building, need more lights in the parking lot.

My girlfriend and I moved here back in August 2017 and are very pleased with it so far. The build quality of the remodel isn't exactly the greatest but it gets the job done (noticeable gaps between window edge trim and wall). The managers, Stacy and Savannah in the office are fantastic and super friendly. We have had very few maintenance issues, and the ones we did have were nothing completely unexpected or severe but were taken care of very quickly. Aside from one person next-door who no longer lives there, all of our neighbors are friendly and quiet so there are no issues. No unexpected house guests either (rodents or insect problems). My only complaints would be to have the pool heated and have an updated keyless entry/intercom system (it is controlled entry, just think it needs to be updated). I think my girlfriend and I will be here for a while as it is priced well and ideally located for both of our jobs. Definitely recommend living here.

I recently moved into Lake Pointe and I am very happy with the choice I made. My apartment has nice Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, Lots of closet space, & great vaulted ceilings(I am on 3rd floor). The hallways have always been nice and clean and the caretaker for my building is very friendly, as is all the staff I have encountered. This is a great property!

I have been apartment searching for what seems like forever!!! When I came across Lake Pointe I was skeptic at first considering this used to be a sore spot for the area. But, since the location was pretty much perfect for my needs I decided to go take a look anyway. I was blown away with how different the property is from before. The apartments were updated a few years ago and look great, the pool was refinished and looks amazing, they added a sand volleyball court if that's something you like to do. They accept pets and are pretty reasonably priced. My main thing was the location. They are right off the bus line and near all the basic needs stores... I'm pleased I was approved and will be moving in soon.. Way to go to the new property owners for making this a nice place to live..

I have had the greatest experience with this apartment complex. This is my first apartment :) I was so scared and nervous moving into my own place. The office staff were awesome with getting me approved and moved in. the apartments all have locked entryways and the parking lots have cameras which makes me feel secure. the apartments are updated and have granite and stainless steel.. The flooring looks good (but is the cheap click together stuff) but I have not had any issues with this at all.. I'm excited for my first apartment experience and happy with the place I have chose..

I have been here at Lake Pointe for a couple years now. Its a great place. I love my apartment, the grounds are nice, had some good amenities like a pool, volleyball, fitness, & on site laundry. The staff are great! I have had a few maintenance issues with heat and a sink back up but they were addressed right away. My neighbors are all friendly and quiet. I don't see why people always have so much negative to say. I have been here for a while and plan to stay for longer.

I absolutely am in love with my apartment here at Lake Pointe. It's very spacious and has tons of closet space. Nice stainless steel appliances and Mirrored closet doors which is great! The move in process was easy and I love the location as I am right off the highway so I have easy access to pretty much everywhere in the metro area. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a spacious one bedroom in a prime location

I have been pretty happy with my apartment. It looks good, I'm close to pretty much everything, the staff are super nice, and I can have my dog. I have had a minor leak in the heater system but it was addressed right away like within 15 minutes, and was fixed and they cleaned up everything themselves. Great experience so far with this property

I have had a positive experience when working with the staff at Lake Pointe. They were very friendly and helped me get my application completed and my approval was fast. They told me up front what the criteria was for the application process so I could make the decision to pay to have my credit ran or not. I'm excited to move into my new apartment soon.

WoW!!! The transformation these apartments have made is amazing.. I was a resident a LONG time ago when this was Twin Lake and they have improved these apartments soooo much!! Excited to be a member of the community again.

I have been a resident here for 2 years now. I have had some minor maintenance issues but nothing that shouldn't be expected really! My apartment building is quiet, The employees are polite and helpful & It stays pretty clean around here. I can't really complain about much! I plan to stay here for another couple years while I finish my degree. It's a great place to live as far as I am concerned.

My experience with Lake Pointe went rather smoothly. I went in to get a tour of the apartments. They look Good! I like the upgrades and am interested in applying. As I went back to the office to get the application process started and pay my app fee, the woman started to tell me the requirements needed to be approved for the apartment! I do not have the credit score required for the process so she recommended to me that I do not apply and pay the fee as I will be denied. I was very satisfied with their service. They could have easily taken my money knowing I would be denied and kept it, but they did not! For that reason alone I am giving them 5 stars

I Love my apartment here at LakePointe. It's modern and spacious, I have TONS of closet space. All my neighbors are nice, I have had no problems since moving in. The staff is so nice! If I had to give a critique I would say that sometimes its hard to find a parking spot near my apartment but it hasn't been a big issue for me.

I searched and searched and searched for a nice apartment that was affordable and would accept my Large dog, It was so hard to find! I was getting frustrated. When I found Lake Pointe I was relieved for sure. The apartments are renovated with new flooring, stainless steel appliances, nice cupboards and light fixtures. The bedroom is big and there is so much closet(storage) space. The property is in a prime location! I can hop right on the highway and get where ever I need to be. The best perk for me was they accepted Large dog breeds and even have a fenced in dog park so you can let them run for awhile. The rent is on the higher end of my budget, but it was still in my budget! The staff was very friendly, I would recommend these apartments to anyone.

I love my apartment. It was hard for me to find a decent place since I do not drive and have to bus it to work everyday. These apartments are right off the bus line and I only need to take one bus to get me to work. Also with it being so close to shopping makes my life so much easier. I can walk to Cub foods, Walmart, Michaels & LifeTime there is tons of food places and other shopping stores too.. The apartments are beautiful and there is a nice outdoor pool. I was lucky to stumble upon this place!

Lake Pointe is a great apartment complex. They have newer appliances, nice efficeint windows, friendly staff & they accept pets of all sizes. They have a dog park, and Nice updated laundry facility. I have been very pleased with my apartment.

I have been very pleased with my new apartment here at Lakepointe. I have had no issues with noise, laundry, parking, anything for that matter. The staff are very pleasent and maintenance is prompt. My apartment is beautiful, quiet, and I have a great view of the outdoor pool and sand volleyball court. 5 stars for sure..

I've lived here for a few years now, since the property was renovated! I love my place and plan to stay untill i decide to start a family. Great people, Great staff, Nice Apartments. I have had a couple work orders for minor things in the time i have been here and Brad is on it. He fixes everything fast and dont rig things together.

Melrose gates apartments has great management, maintenance staff, apartments and amenities. I have lived here for 9 years and love it.

looking forward to a new year in a new apartment, Lake Pointe is well taken care of and I can tell they take care of the tenants.

I stopped in last week because I'm looking for a dog friendly apartment and this one is one of the best I've seen so far in my price range. The ladies in the office were helpful and I will keep this on my list when I am ready to move.

Big property, the pregnant lady in the office is very nice and she is very quick to answer any questions, and its dog friendly.

I have been a tenant at these apartments for 5 years now. I was here before the new owners purchased the property. The difference is night and day. Please dont base your decision to come take a look at the apartments off of reviews you are seeing from over 2 years ago. The new management is great and do whatever they can to help your home be comfortable and safe. Come and take a look for yourself, you will be suprised at how nice the renovations are and how friendly the staff are. I love my apartment and highly recommend you come take a look..

I'm totally in love with my apartment.. I have plenty of space and they accept pets which was really hard for me to find when searching. I'm very happy with my decision to move to Lake Pointe. Although they werent the first on my list of places to come take a look at I still came and was pleasently suprised. Becky was awesome and so easy to communicate with. My apartment is beautiful. I would recommend these apartments to EVERYONE..

I went and looked at these apartments and was so suprised at how nice they are. They are very spacious and updated. They have nice laundry rooms and a pool with volleyball, they have a dog park for your dog to run, its just really nice.. Applying was easy and they tell you the guidelines up front so you dont waste your time or money if you dont meet the criteria. Can't wait to move in

I have been at Lakepointe for almost a year now. I havent had any isssues whle being here.. the office staff are very friendly, easy to contact and fast to respond. I get along great with my neighbors. Dont have loud noise complaints or domestics none of the issues i had at my old residence. I plan on staying cause its working out great for me thus far.

I'm so pleased with my move to Lake Pointe. I was downsizing from a 3 bd to a 1bd and am in love with it. I wanted it to be smaller with out feeling cramped and it most definitly meets the criteria. I have nice vaulted ceilings, lots of closet space and plenty of sunshine. The bathroom could use a little updating but its still nice and decent sized for me.. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a great 1bd in a prime location.

I love my apartment!! I have Soooo much closet space, tons of mirrors, stainless steel appliances, nice laminate flooring, a dishwasher, I have a dishwasher(Finally), tons of space for parking, right by the shopping center and I can get to 694 in less than 5 minutes. It's affordable and they accept pets ( I am on the lookout for a cute lapdog now :) The staff are so nice, my faucet in my kitchen had a small leak, the maintenance man was there the next day to fix it, he did a great job and was very friendly. I love the set up for the laundry machines. You can access them digitally so you know if there is one open before you go down there and can pay with your credit card (Awesome, since I hate carrying cash). I would definetly say to come take a look. I have told a few friends about my place and they are now applying and gonna be moving in soon.. Great place to live

I rented a 3rd floor apartment. It has vaulted ceilings and very nice upgraded flooring and appliances. I am very pleased with my decision. The main thing that drew me into this property is the location. I know, I know it's been known as the rough part of town to some, but i was very pleased with all the safety features they have on the property, like locked enterances, cameras, on site caretakers, 24 hr on call maintenance etc. These apartments are smack dab in the middle of everything your going to need. CVS for perscriptions, Cub foods for groceries, Walmart for houshold items, clothing stores, shoe stores, food places, LA fitness, right on the bus line and easy access to the main highways. after being approved, and seeing the beautiful apartments, It was a no brainer for me.

So, I moved into these apartments about 7 months ago. I have had a great experience. Love the updated onsite laundry (you do need a creditcard) but i can check if machines are open online right from my apartment rather then walk all my clothes down to the laundry room just find out they are all full and walk them all back up and repeat in an hour..I also love my neighbors. I dont have issues with noise or pounding..(Considering this is why i moved from my previous apartment) I am very HAPPY with my choice to move here..

I walked into the office to apply and was greeted with big smiles. I had no issues with applying and was approved the next day. The models are gorgeous. There are so many great ameneties, and it is so close to the grocery store ,and there are plenty of fast food options nearby. My apartment has nice stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. works out perfect for me

Im totally in love with my new apartment. it so homey and comfortable. I have high ceilings and upscale appliances.. full body mirrored doors i love, and the neighbors i have met are very friendly.. the staff are very easy to talk to and answered all the questions i had with no hesitation.

my apartment is so nice. I got tons of closet space, nice appliances, nice flooring, some great amenaties and all at a resonable price. only thing i wish is they had 2 bd apartments. other then that i love it...

Great size apartment for myself and my fiance'. We also have a small dog and its great to have the wash statioon for the pets so we dont have to use our bathtub anymore, and the dog park is great. my girl has plenty of space for all her stuff and there are mirrors a plenty for her :) she love it so i am happy as well

I recently moved here from out of state and am enjoying my place. they only have one bedrooms but its actually pretty big for a 1 bd. Nice big parking lot, lots of garages for rent, they up keep the lawn and landscaping very well.. there are picnic tables and grills for outdoor get togethers. pool, volleyball, dog park. its actually really nice.

My apartment has been my safe haven. I love that its secure entry, cameras all ove rthe property, they have a garage i can lock and store my bike in so i dont have to tote it up the stairs like i did at my last place. I really feel safe. The staff know everyone. The maintenance man is great and very friendly and easy to talk to. the property is beautiful and well maintained. I have tons of space in my apartment and can bike anywhere i need to go, its all nearby.

After viewing this complex I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, affordable and comfortable home of their own. Very nice place.

I give this complex 5 stars. If I could give them more I would. Do not judge this place until you see it for yourself. It is awesome.

I checked this place out not long ago and meant to review it online. This is great for looks, pricing, area and staff. My brother is now also looking into availability.

The staff were very nice and informative, the aoartments are beautifully remodeled, the property is in a prime location for me as i dont drive so im on the bus line and in walking distance of everything i will need. excited to make this my new home.

Love, Love, Love my apartment. As a single woman I feel completley secure and safe in my place. I love the office employees and they accept my dog. The place is gorgeous and spacious for a one bedroom and has tons of closet space (which is always a plus)

So I been here for just over a year, I had no issue renewing my lease. Any maintenance issue were addressed immediatly, the management is friendly and answers all questions, notices are given in a timley manner and the other residents are peaceful too. I've never ahd an issue while being here. Its been nice going to the pool side in the summer to relax and take in some sun. I highly recommend coming by to at least take a look if your interested in a one bedroom.

Been here since before the renovations and new owners and i am super pleased with what they have done to the property. remodeled the units, changed the layout of the parking lot, new windows, its nice.. cleaned up all the riff raff that was former residents. Don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Brads great he is always smiling and knows everyone. only thing i would change is getting parking permits for residents, that would be great.

Love the looks of this place. Love the outdoor pool, volley ball court, dog park and landscaping. I am young, just getting out on my own and very picky. I have no complaint's about this place. I am in awe here. I love, love the staff and how friendly and welcoming they are as well. Great first place from the looks of it! :)

I am new to town and have been looking for a nice quite and functional place to live. I found Lake Pointe and when I went to have a view was very amazed. Not only by the looks but the surroundings as well. They have many enjoyable places in the area. Very nice neighborhood as well. One of the top on my list!

I looked at this place and its pretty awesome. I like the outdoor pool and landscaping. Apartments are super cool looking with hardwood floors. Perfect place and location.

I have been searching for a nice looking place, in a great location, with amenities. This is the perfect place. The apartments are amazing looking and very very clean, they have an outdoor pool that to learn is newly painted and looks gorgeous. They allow dogs and their landscaping and very well maintained. I am in awe!!
