Property Ratings at Lake Pointe Village Apartments
Low cost, right next to old village, lockable storage in the basement (provide your own lock), utilities included, dishwasher, washer and dryer in unit! Amazing value. Cleanliness: 10/10. They schedule routine cleaning of the main hallway, at least for the apartment building I was in. Grounds Maintenance 10/10. Walkways, parkinglot, apartment all kept in good shape, clean, and free of snow/debris. Grounds Maintenance 10/10. As I was in a new building, there was no maintenance requests needed. They came in ~3 times IIRC, once to change the batteries on the smoke detector, once to check the breakers after power outage, and once to change the air filter. Property Manager: 10/10. Great to work with, easy, no hidden fees, always responded on time and with care. She was in the office when she was supposed to be, and never "dodged" us. Apartment Layout: 6/10. Honestly this is probably my only complaint about the apartment. The livingroom has two available walls for you to place your sofa/couch and tv, assuming that's your plan. However, one of them has the cable outlet, and directly across from that is a closet. So you're all but forced to cover the closet with your sofa, and so it's all but useless except for secondary storage. The kitchen layout is okay, however I would rather have had a galley kitchen without the peninsula/breakfast bar, and more than one tiny drawer in the corner. The cabinet quality is good, the appliances were good, microwave, dishwasher, range/stove, and fridge. No issues with any of them, and like the building they were new, and clean. Parking: 8/10. You have 1 assigned parking place which is on the building you live in, and as close to your side of the building as they can manage. There is also "free for all" parking lots for the majority of the buildings, but not all. When I was living there, there was always available space except for when they repaved the lots. That kinda sucked. Safety: 10/10. You're in plymouth.
This review is real, I really did live here and it was wonderful. Susan and staff have been very pleasant to work with. We have had multiple maintenance requests and all have been resolved in a timely manner. What else do I need to say? This was a great choice for us, and I can confidently say this is the best Plymouth area choice you can pick on a budget. Bravo.
This is a great first apartment complex. The apartments are spacious and the complex pays for water and heat. The complex is a quick walk to Old Village Plymouth and Hines Drive. The staff here is phenomenal, they are always quick to respond to questions/issues. Grounds are very well maintained as is the pool. Neighbors are friendly. The only negatives are for most of the buildings there are no washer/dryer in unit only communal in basement as well as no dishwasher, but definitely not a deal breaker for these hidden gem apartments!
We really liked these apartments. The price was decent and it seemed pretty quiet. Nice grounds. The bummer was the wait list, and the huge deposit! We couldn't wait, nor did we want to pay that large deposit so we moved in somewhere else.
Very pleasant, great location, and extremely clean! Very friendly staff and accomidating because they are family owned. Love the amentities in the building.
The staff was great to deal with. Very professional!
The property manager at lakepoint village apartments took down my wifes handicap parking sign. It has been down now for two weeks and despite numerous calls to the owner it has not been put back up.
I lived here years ago and loved them so clean and the manager was so friendly Looking forward to moving back there I hope in a couple months
