Approximately two miles from the historic Milwaukie city center and the Willamette River, Lake Road gives residents a quiet, close-knit suburban community with quick access to larger cities. The Milwaukie Expressway runs through this district, bringing commuters into downtown Portland in 15 minutes.
Lake Road locals enjoy welcoming new neighbors to their community, hosting the Neighborhood Barbecue every year where everyone can meet. Stop by the barbecue and get updates of all the events happening near your Lake Road apartment. Sharing a border with Lake Road is the 47-acre North Clackamas Park, where you will find residents hiking the trails and walking their dogs. Pick up some treats from Bob’s Red Mill Bakery before you go to the park so you can picnic under the trees. During the warmer months, check out the Milwaukie Sunday Farmers Market in the nearby downtown area for fresh tomatoes or homemade soap.

Property Ratings at Lake Village
I was a walking over to visit a friends place and was walking down the hill at lake village apartments. And as I'm almost all the way down I hear someone trying to get my attention. It was the manager Susan. Who does not know me. She asked "can you walk down the path and not the hill please?" (A dirt hill with no plant life on most of it, or even a garden bed might I add) and I said "sure, I'll do it next time" And she responded saying "Don't come back next time". And muttered a bunch if other hateful stuff. I could only laugh. I was shocked that someone could be So rude to someone. And with no reason whatsoever. This is behaviour that needs to be investigated.
I have lived in a 2br on the first floor here for a little over a year. I have absolutely no complaints. Both management and maintenance live on the property and they are more than wonderful. The back courtyard is beautiful and the view of Kellogg Creek is absolutely fabulous. There is a laundry room on site that is open 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. everyday. The only issue I have with living here is that the kitchen is very small. Aside from that, this is a wonderful place to live!
This place is in a nice area near the orange tram. There used to be a pool here, but they paved over it for some reason.. i love the area and the people are really nice.
