Property Ratings at Lake Walk at Traditions Apartments
I have never had an apartment be this bad at communicating, do not live here if you have a choice which you probably do. I fell in love with this place because it is absolutely beautiful, but my experience with the leasing office has been so bad I am choosing to live somewhere else even before my lease started. I toured and began the application process in November, but did not get my lease until February. Every single step of the way I had to call and fight tooth and nail for management to do anything to help me. They never sent anything or did work without me annoying them to do so. They did not care that it was their fault, and I was told multiple times I would receive a document in a few days only to get it three weeks later. I thankfully was able to get a lease with another apartment, and that entire process beginning to end took four DAYS in compared to the four MONTHS it took Lake Walk. Save yourself the money and the pain of terrible management and find another place.
These apartments were built to be luxury. And they are priced as if they are luxury. But the management and maintenance of these buildings is absolutely horrible. Whoever owns these properties needs to pay attention to how much long term damage their current management / maintenance team is allowing to happen. We are only a few months into our lease and already have a huge list of problems that have yet to be addressed. The list started within the first hour of moving in. It is so bad that they have disabled the maintenance request portal on their website. They then informed all residents that our ability to request maintenance online has been removed, and that even if we call with requests, they will only respond if it is an absolute emergency. Pay attention to the bad reviews... they are telling you the truth.
I just want to pay my rent and live in peace. They make it so frustrating for residents to live here because their site doesn’t work, they don’t answer the phone, no one who works here knows what’s going on because the turn over is crazy. I could go on, but if you don’t have a problem paying $500+ in random fees that vary month to month on top of a overrated apartment this is the place for you.
I have lived here for a year and it has been the worst apartment I have lived in. Never answer emails or phone calls. Bug infestation in hallways of buildings as well as inside the actual apartments. No help at all trying to get rid of the bugs. The gates to get into complex have NEVER worked, key fobs RARELY worked to get into amenities. This place is a JOKE.
Moved in recently, there is nothing inherently wrong with the apartment… but be warned only half of the property is “built in 2020” our subdivision and apartment are clearly 10 or so years old at least. We also have to go across the street to get to the new amenities that you see in these pictures. So if you are looking at the place make sure you confirm that your apt is actually the ones in the pictures.
This place is basically paired with 8085, which is the most unorganized. They don’t even know what specials they have, I’ve called so many times and nothing. Beautiful property but that’s ALL they have going. Honestly go somewhere else.
After signing a pre lease agreement 6 months in advance and calling for the last month (with no replies) we were informed today (2 weeks before the move in date) that the requested model wasn't available - unless we went to the older units or upgraded to a higher price option. The ratings are low and there are a lot of comments about not answering calls and poor customer service. Now I understand why... not providing updates, not calling back, not honoring agreements... it sounds like the norm. It is a shame that such a nice complex is so poorly managed.
