Baytown presents a thriving residential area with an emphasis on family life. This community offers a balance between a quiet suburban lifestyle and the energetic ambition that comes with ample business opportunities. Speaking of – the city’s economy relies strongly on petroleum production.
Located by the water, Baytown’s Houston Ship Channel is one of the neighborhood’s biggest attractions. The nearby nature center is a sight to see and home to hundreds of land and aquatic animal species. When you’re not at home in your apartment, the Downtown Arts District has a number of culture programs like the Baytown Little Theatre, which has been run exclusively by volunteers for over 50 years.
In the event you’re not outside enjoying the bay views, you might be shopping at the San Jacinto Mall or lavishing in the comforts of your Baytown home.

Property Ratings at Lakes at Madera
This place is terrible the staff lies and adds random charges to your account so you end up with extra fees for nothing to many issues with wiring and electronics (oven, refrigerator, outlets ect) and you can’t ask for mechanic help because they’ll either ignore you or randomly walk into your apartment without notice and when you’re not home they completely invade your privacy. Worst place I have EVER stayed at DO. NOT. MOVE. HERE all these things I said aren’t even the tip of the iceberg and it worst because the manager and staff DO NOT CARE

The courtesy officer is always too busy hooking up with different women to actually get anything done. He thought his sole job was to lock and unlock the pool. Ask Sabrina in the office if either of them have time to do their job between hooking up.
Manual is the best.. He was very helpful.proprety is amazing
Went here for an apt I got approved... it take them a while week to call .. rushing me to sign ... while all along the leasing agent had a potential tenant already leasing the apt she had saved for me talk about how pissed I was ..in addition... they never answer the phone and never at the office unprofessional. Ended up at a better apartment complex... .. long story short shop around.
Had issue with noise complaint. My neighbor can't appreciate how I been patient. Even apt manager can't do anything. I just got threaten from my neighbor. I'm so scare and wanted to moved out Asap. My neighbor even told me I have no right to knock my neighbor even they bother me like making noise every 5 to 10 mins. I'm so scare and not feel secured at all this apt. Please if you read this my review don't ever rent here apt and regret later.
It was an unpleasant experencia live here these 12 months. Administrative staff, lose your information, they charge things that have nothing to do with your income and even stole money order of my neighbors of their income. It is regrettable to see how playing with money, emotional health, and even has felt discrimination. I would not live here anymore, not because it was free income. Terrible customer service.
WORST APARTMENTS IN HOUSTON AREA!! The manager is VILE!! no one cares about cracks in your walls or bath tubs or home. They will fine you $200 for having a grill or bag of trash on your porch. not to mention they have no proper rent statements, they tell you to come in at the end of every month and they'll guesstimate what your rent is? it makes absolutely no sense, they come up with a random number of rent they want you to pay, its so utterly confusing how this place is even open to this day. these apartments need to be shut down. i hate living here and i wish i had never made a lease agreement
These are the worst apartments ive ever lived in, the water is turned off at the least twice a weak, or they have to constantly "repair the pipes" and only have freezing cold water. The foundation of our building was so bad that the walls in our apartment started to crack and cave in, they 'fixed' the problem stating that it would only take three weeks when the renovating actually went on january-march. but still never fixed the cracks in the walls and bathtubs. The staff is horribly rude and unconcerned about any of the problems that we have to deal with. NOT TO MENTION THERE WAS A SHOOTING WHERE A WOMAN WAS BRUTALLY MURDERED AND THE POLICE HAVE NO IDEA WHO DID IT OR ANY CLUES SO THE MURDERER IS STILL ROAMING FREE.
We have enjoyed living here for three years...very pleasant and helpful staff.
This apartment is located in a very nice area it's not far from where I can walk to work Baytown is an very small community friendly environment not far from churches shopping centers neighbor hood public schools many people have been living here for years getting my rent paid would help me to be able to save for a car.
