Property Ratings at Lakeshore Drive Apartment Homes
Renting here was the worst decision I’ve made. Constant sewer, bug, billing, and littering issues. Only way to hear from property manager is to file escrow

Worse complex I’ve ever moved to in my life!!!! Very inconsistent! Nasty! Never a consistent bill not even close!!!! Maintenance is horrible!!! Plumbing is horrible!!! Office team don’t care, because they don’t live here!!!! I can’t wait to be away from this place!!! If you like consistent flooding, mold, bugs, no closets, consistent electrical problems then this is the place for you!

Lived here for a year. If you like cockroaches, incompetent property managers, and your car getting broken into then this is the place for you. Otherwise stay far away.

This is my first apartment, I’m a current resident, and I am highly disappointed. One time, the maintenance people came into my apartment while I was at work WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME and did some toilet work that I didn’t know I needed and left a huge mess that I had to clean up because there wasn’t no way I was showering in a filthy bathroom. Then I had to send in multiple requests for them to put the dry wall back up behind my toilet that I didn’t know they were doing. It took them 2 weeks to come back. They filled the holes but now I have holes in my wall in my closet that they did doing some work I DID NOT APPROVE OF. I also just recently put in my 4th request to get my outlet in my kitchen fixed because the guy they sent before did absolutely nothing but just flick the lights on and off and kept claiming he’d have to “come back the next day.” He didn’t know what he was doing. You have to send in multiple maintenance requests just to get stuff done. I also talked to one of their people in the office over the phone one day (a woman) and told me about how my bank rejected my payment which I didn’t know of and they charged me for it. The lady was so rude and said “well I don’t know what happened with your bank but you beed to make your payment. Just very unprofessional. I don’t recommend living somewhere where they charge you this much for rent but not worth it at all. If you’re thinking about this place, keep it as an option. Plus on top of all of that, there are some very unnecessary and unjustified charges they give you. I’m a resident who is currently looking to move out due to all of these reasons. Plus I’ve also experienced some unjustified fees.

Management sucks, they try to charge you for stuff and when I asked them for a paper bill they told me never mind. Laundry machines always broken, neighbors are rude and don’t respect your cars parked in the lot. Indoor pool has been “broken” entire 14 month lease I had. They have not fixed a single thing in my apartment because of covid. They say they have pest control and leave notes on apartment door about spraying but I have camera in my apartment and have never seen a single soul walk though my doors. Overpriced for what they offer.

When we originally moved in this place seemed like the perfect fit. We understood it wouldn't be perfect, and we were okay with it being a bit outdated. However, I wish we had never signed that lease. Since moving here we've been battling roaches, washing machines constantly breaking down and never getting fixed, and recently bedbugs. They will charge you for every pest treatment, even though they're technically supposed to cover pest treatment (They get around the law by putting it in your lease agreement). With the bedbugs it is very costly, and definitely not worth the risk. John is a great guy on the surface, but things are seemingly always going downhill. There are much better options out there than these apartments, and I would keep this place as your last resort. Also, there are package thieves galore, and management won't do anything about it.

I graduated from high school in 2017, and was looking to move closer to Cincinnati for college. I did my best to look into tons of places and I came across Lake Shore. At first, it seemed to good be true. Some of the photos they provided are slightly enhanced, but overall it is a pretty good representation. The studio apartments have their own separate building directly across from the lake and "dock". Completely open floor plan, and a "bar" in the kitchen. It seemed like the perfect bachelor pad. There is no shady landlords, just a complex run by a national management company with many properties. That has its benefits when it comes maintenance and the ease of paying rent online. Very positive experience with the staff and maintenance. The room was a blank slate. A few dents and dings here and there. When you move in, they allow you to fill out an inspection form of all the things you think needs to be fixed. Appearance gets a good grade overall. Minor things like a kitchen cabinet being hung unevenly might annoy you eventually (this is probably because I have the cheapest apartment in the whole complex). Lots of closet space and pretty good natural lighting. The studios have an interesting time with the hot water but it really isn't too big of a deal once you figure it out. The benefit of free heat has pros and cons. Pro: its free, its baseboard (around the whole room). Con: Gets very warm (like 80 degrees warm with the windows closed), and you have no control of a thermostat. They turn the heat on for everyone at the same time and off at the same time as well. It's another thing that you learn how to adjust to, like leaving your windows open in the winter, sounds crazy but it works. Location is great, near Kenwood, I-75, and on top of 126 (Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway). Only about 15 minutes out of Cincinnati. The bad thing about the location.... its located near an industrial facility, two highways and a few railways. You will hear plenty of trains and trucks. I'm assuming they have come under new staffing and management since those other reviews were written. They have people who walk around and pick up trash and whatnot. Cockroaches not a problem if you can clean up after yourself. Overall, the studio building (4 E Lake Shore Drive) gets 4 stars. I feel like I get a pretty good value for my money and Hopefully this will serve as a detailed review of Lake Shore and I would recommend this place to anyone in a similar situation as me.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this feedback! We are glad to hear you are enjoying your apartment and that you have had a positive experience with our staff. Please feel free to reach out to the office with any questions or concerns.
PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A DECISION. If you move in to these apartments make sure to get an apartment in the first 2 buildings. The last building on the hill is awful, noisy and buggy. They will tell you when you apply that a 400 dollar deposit is required but also fail to tell you that it’s non refundable. Everytime you call for maintainence, make sure to be home until you see them come and go. We had several instances on maintainence coming in the apartment without our permission when we were away. The laundry rooms (at least in out building) are very filthy. No one here seems to like to clean anything. The smell was different every day and the cleaning crew that is hired is overworked and pushed too hard. Don’t let the front office or the nice pools fool you, you will have a bad time here.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. We are sorry to hear of your concerns and we will be sure to look into the issues you have noted.
After staying in these apartments this past year I couldn't even renew the lease it wasn't worth it. The worst apartment I ever had to stay at from having to deal with the rude office ladies Debbie financial manager and sebrina the property manager. It couldn't get any worst I couldn't wait until my lease was up it got to the point I moved out of my apartment early in the lease and just paid the rent. My bathroom had a continuous leak in the tub and no one wanted to come out in fix it been going on for four or five months I put in a work order online , called the office , and left messages It was causing my bathroom flood to be wet. The apartment had a bed problem from the first day I was in then I was told someone was going to come out but that never happen. The lost just goes on.
DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!! They will overcharge you rent for a place infested with either cockroaches (my problem living there for six months) or bed bugs (an issue that is extremely common for other tenants). When it comes to health and safety concerns, they do not care. Health club? Please.. Another issue I had related to the marking of gas lines. These lines run under the buildings, under my bed, and they had people out replacing balcony supports with heavy equipment. If they were to nick a gas line, the whole place would go up in smoke, and Morgan Properties wouldn't care because of their insurance policy. I wish I could rate them less than one star, because the office staff does not care at all about YOUR health and safety. If you rent from this place, you are helping to perpetuate poor customer service, and putting money in the pockets of people that frankly only care about the commission they receive by misrepresenting their units to future tenants.
Rude people called to try to get more information for an apartment and the lady hung up.
I love living at lakeshore apartments because it is a very friendly atmosphere. The apartments are spacious and the hallways are clean. I love the fact if they allow pets in the home. I also love the fact that there are two pools and a gym. I also love the fact that there are 2 pools and a gym. It is an affordable place for me and my family to feel comfortable. Also, the maintenance men are always fast and dependable. There are a variety of different types of people who live there but for the most part everyone is friendly expecially the women in the office. .
The apartments are old. The fresh paint and new carpets were only a disguise to an apartment with very old and poorly maintained plumbing, electric, and the bathroom was crumbling. Also had a cockroach problem. It got better for 3 weeks after they sprayed, but then they came back. You get what you pay for. The apartment community is so dirty. Garbage everywhere. And few (if any) people pick up after their dogs. Indoor pool is a joke and the gym has regularly broken equipment and is dirty. Also very tiny. Apartments are in a very industrial neighborhood. The only nice thing about the apartment is how central it is and easy access to 75 and Ronald Reagan.
Good apartment for the price. Staff and maintance there 24/7.
I have lived at Lake Shore apartments for the last two years and recently renewed lease, the four lovely ladies at the office are always helpful and kind, my neighbors are sweet people and very friendly, it's quiet and peaceful and even lets you enjoy the stars in the sky. I really love living here and wouldnt change it for the world this place is my kingdom.
I recently moved to the Lakeshore Apartments. It's the perfect location for me, having an office in Blue Ash and also driving throughout the tri-state for work. The office staff was extremely helpful when I dropped by to inquire about their availability. They were able to immediately give me a tour of the model I was interested in. I submitted an application, was approved, and placed a hold on my apartment within 30 minutes. The building I live in is clean and quiet. The only inconvenience so far has been that there are only dumpsters for trash at the front of the complex. If you live on the far side of the complex you have to drive your trash to the dumpsters. Some residents will lose trash along the way and leave it in the street. Overall it has been a positive living experience.
