Lakeside at Arbor Place

Overall experience has been good. Front office staff is very responsive, attentive, and helpful with questions/concerns. Neighborhood is quiet for the busy surrounding area.

Love the Lakeview and quiet community , most of the people that live here has been here for years, the units are Ok and put new vinyl flooring throughout my unit.

The staff have been great and very responsive. The area is kept very well. I am glad I chose this location three years ago. Conveniently located within a short radius of everything.

i love it here this is my second year every time i’ve had a problem it’s fixed in a timely manner. i would recommend it to everyone. this is the best community ive lived in.

I don't have a problem with my apartment. I have a problem with my Gen Z, entitled, cople that lives underneath me, that bang on the walls whenever they dont aprove of what I'm doing at the time. The apartments are not sound proofed at all!!! I can here the people above me too but I don't bang on walls. Very rude entitlement behavior that is allowed by management and very disappointing. I will break my lease look for a new place to live.

Love living here! The office team and maintenance crew are the BEST! I’ve been living in this community for 9 years now. There have been a lot of changes.

I’ve been here since 2017, haven’t had any serious issues or complained about about much but lately I’m feeling like I want to move because whoever lives above me, it’s always constant bumping or running. It’s becoming unbearable to deal with. Making me regret renewing my lease.

The maintenance staff has been helpful and efficient. They are all friendly and helpful with their suggestions. I appreciate all their hard work and support.

The staff at this apartment community is truly exceptional! They are friendly, responsive, Additionally, the community offers a variety of great amenities that enhance the living experience, making it a pleasant place to call home. While the overall experience is positive, there are areas that could benefit from some attention. The grounds and the building near the lake would greatly improve with a bit of tender loving care (TLC). Simple maintenance tasks such as blowing out the hallways to remove debris and spider webs. It’s worth noting that some of the upgrades in the apartments were not installed to a high standard. However, these issues are minor enough that they can be overlooked by residents who prioritize comfort over longevity in their living space. While there are some areas for improvement regarding maintenance the outstanding staff and excellent amenities make this apartment community a worthwhile choice for potential residents.

We moved in at the beginning of October and it has been the BEST experience. The staff is kind and accommodating. The grounds are kept relatively clean and safe. It’s a very quiet area for the most part you may hear a loud car every once in a while.there are no bugs that I’ve seen except maybe a house spider or two. The location is perfect! You are surrounded by places to eat and shop within walking distance.

As a new resident here, I wanted to wait a while before posting a review. However, the exemplary service that I received from maintenance brought me here much sooner. Don and Joe are definitely the MVP of maintenance! There were a few things that needed repair in my apartment that I flagged on my Move-In Report. Don and Joe arrived within 2 days of my submission and either made the necessary repairs (CORRECTLY may I add) or placed orders for replacements or parts that weren’t immediately available. Did I mention they kept me informed throughout the process!! It is a very peaceful and serene apartment community to reside in thus far; no matter the time of day or night. I will definitely come back and provide an update as needed. However, currently this is a great place to recommend!!

Great community! Maintenance responds in a timely manner, and facilities are well maintained. Very glad the pool is staying open through September this year as well!

I haven’t lived in many apartments but Lakeside Apartments has really been my favorite and I love it here.. Thanks to the management for all they do to make lakeside apartments a better place to live

it has been very quiet here and no drama and i love that! i been here for a little over a year now. maintence comes on time when need it.. i feel safe here and neighbors mind their own business

I love it here. Tucked away and peaceful. The staff is great and very professional. The maintenance staff are responsive. Quiet place to live for a working person.

I love how quiet the neighborhood is. Beautiful lake view and the move in was very quick and easy. However, I wish the units were a little more updated. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to others.

I have been staying here since 2019, the office staff have been amazing. Ms. Lisa, Desiree I haven't met the new lady yet but im sure she is just as amazing. The office manager is awesome as well. I've ran into a few hiccups financially especially during covid and these ladies were very helpful and resourceful during that time. One thing is very important is to communicate they will try to help as much as possible without jeopardizing their own job. I love how peaceful it's been here. The community is changing a bit more people different dynamic, but still not many complaints here. The maintenance men are cool too, when I ask for them to come fix something it doesn't take long for them to do so.

Has been fun living here .Great pond to view. Great shopping locations to choose from. Been here for over 18 years and enjoyed them all.Great staff too.

The grounds are well kept and the office staff have always been helpful. I don't love the package system as the room is often disorganized and it can be a challenge to find your package. That said, I'm sure that's a delivery person issue and not the apartment complex fault

The staff is awsome. Has been very helpful and on point every time. They help me to set-up everything i needed to recieve packages and how to use the gate code pass.

Really quite complex, staff is sweet and helpful, and maintenance response times are super quick! Neighbors are quiet and friendly and the views of the lake are great!

This is my partner and I first place together. And whew , have we been in for some surprises. I was told that it was a bug problem but had no idea it was THIS bad. This has been the most stressful and anxious week of my life. I can’t even sleep because of how bad it is. I have bombed , layed combat gel and boric acid but still seeing bugs. I can’t function like this and it’s only day 3.

Roaches are everywhere. The floors are creaky. Sketchy people smoking weed out in the open. People abandoning apartments in the middle of the night. Cats EVERYWHERE. Management stinks!!!

The buldings are dirty and every unit is infested with roaches inside and out. You walk out your door at night and all you can see are roaches everywhere. They only keep what you can see looking nice to fool you once your in your stuck with roaches. Please take my advise go elsewhere.

Some of the issues I had in the one year I was there: -My move-in date was delayed twice. The first time because they did not realize until last moment that the apartment needed updating. The second time because they could not dry the carpet. -I had a month (August) with no air conditioning. -Lakeview had the gas numbers messed up, so when the other unit moved out my gas was shut off. No hot water nor cooking for five days. I had to pay the reconnection fee. -One of the reasons for moving there, the lake, could not be enjoyed for many months due to construction, which often created noise all night from the water pump. -Black mold in the bathroom for at least the three last months I lived there -Goose poop and cat urine everywhere. Not safe for children nor pets.

I am really liking it here at Lakeside at Abor Place. Building 1400 lake view at night is absolutely beautiful. All you need is a glass of wine.

I have been living in this place for about a year and a half. While the staff is friendly, especially Lisa, I have seen very little result when things go wrong. I mostly have complaints about the lack of resolution when it comes to maintenance issues. My screen door has been broken for over a year, and my dishwasher has been broken for over 3 months. Numerous calls, and promises later, nothing has been done. It is very frustrating living in a place that doesn't take into account your every day needs. Especially when you pay your rent on time. For how much money they charge, you don't get all the amenities they say they offer. I would not recommend to live here.

Beware! When you come to visit the complex as a prospective resident the rent office staff will seem extremely friendly and personable, but it’s a all a fascade, as you will soon discover after moving in. If you’re interested in living in a place with very poor management, slow or negligent maintenance, and inconvenient mandatory schedulings for building maintenance this is the place for you. Also if you enjoy avoiding stepping in dog poop, like lots of water bugs, other bugs, molded window sills, or windows that will not completely close, noisey neighbors, trash in the breezeway, the inconvenience of not being able to get in contact with the rent office staff from time to time, no call backs after messages left, or general unprofessionalism at it’s finest, and occasional gate malfunctions, this place is definitely for you. Before you get yourself entangled with the pretentious property management, save yourself a years worth of headache, aggravation and regret and check out Douglasville’s other nice apartment complexes nearby, because you won’t get what your money is worth at Lakeside @ Arbor Place.

We moved in to Lakeside in Aug,2017, and its been a good 5 months. The Staff, especially Ms Lisa, are a friendly and supportive bunch. Your requests are always dealt promptly and efficiently. The Apartment complex is also quite centrally placed from the shopping malls, grocery stores and restaurants. The apartment is spacious and have ample storage space ( a must for us). So, if you are scouting for a house in Douglasville, Lakeside is a good bet.

I moved here three months ago and love it! During my apartment search to many different areas on the west side, Douglasville was by far the most accomodating. The area is wonderful with great shopping choices, from arbor place mall to kroger, walmart, and target...all within 5 minutes of this beautiful property. The staff both office and maintenance have been awesome too. Every staff member knows all the residents, and address you by your name, always making you feel very welcomed. All my requests I've given the office has been polite and very happy to get all my needs addressed, and maintenance always in good timing. I recommend this place if your looking for a place on the Douglasville area.

I moved into my apartment less than a month ago and am loving it so far. It's quiet.. like really quiet. I never hear my upstairs neighbors or people yelling outside, no loud cars or music blasting. Coming from student apartments in College this is a HUGE step up. The apartment I moved into did have a small humidity problem but I bought a cheap dehumidifier and live has been perfect ever since. And the people in the front office are fantastic! For the price, you really can't beat this place. I'll be updating this review in the future if anything changes.

I have had a wonderful experience living at Lakeside. The process in applying was frightening because I am young and don't have much credit history. Not only was I approved (with a small security deposit) but Ms. Lisa at the front desk made sure my apartment would be ready on move it date. I have a small one, so the move-in process was a little bit rough, but when the maintenance guy saw me struggling with my belongings in a UHaul, he stopped and helped! Yay, thanks Tim! The staff are funny, friendly, and they make you feel right at home. I have been living here for almost 2 years and haven't had one complaint yet, and if I did... Ms. Lisa or Ms. Kim would make sure it was solved that day! Ps, if you do apply ALWAYS ask if theres a special! Sometimes they'll even have raffles for free rent too!

Great apartment with everything you need within your surrounding. Very Spacious and a nice pond view with with fishes, were can fish and some aquatic animals.
