Lazy staff and unreliable. Take WEEKS sometimes MONTHS to get your maintenance request. I had to wait about 3 months to get my A/C fixed during the summertime. This place is so cheap and worth your money.

Worst apartment experience I've ever had. Office staff is rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. They are never available via phone or in person during business hours. They drive facility golf carts off premises on public roads during business hours to run personal errands and pick their children up from school. Twice they have LOST their copy of the key to our home, and each time they try to charge us to replace the lock, so they have access again. Recent change in property management did not seem to change anything, but make it worse.

Lakeside Casitas, Bridge Property Management, or Domuso need to take accountability instead of passing the blame between one another. Lakeside backcharges tenant for electric and tenant pays 3rd party. TEP credits Lakeside but bills tenant for same exact charge. Tenant reaches out to Lakeside and gets blown off, told to contact 3rd party. Tenant contacts 3rd party and is referred back to Lakeside. Lakeside blows off tenant again. See how that works?
The NEW owners of the property have banned ALL BBQing/grilling on your private patio, so If you want to BBQ you must now go to the two public grins located next to the leasing office. So now you get your burgers ready, carry them and your BBQ briquets, sauces, condiments , etc... Now you get there and the two grills are occupied with a party. What do you do? You walk back 15 minutes back to your apartments and fry them on your stove. ALSO a new "kink" in your lease............... NO smoking ANYWHERE on the property. Parking lot, sidewalk, and EVEN NO SMOKING in your PRIVATE apartment that you pay rent. YES, that is now included in the new lease I just signed. I thought I made it well through the Covid, and now THESE MANDATES............ so sick of these rich people telling me what I "Can't" do as I've lived in the same apartment for 16 years.
I lived there for several years but recently moved because of mold problems. Management didn't seem to care. Several rooms and the AC vents all had mold. Couldn't get them to fix it. The dishwasher door broke a maintenance guy told me he fixed it but it will not last it is shot you need a new one but management will no go for it. I had to have several thermostats installed each time they left a hole in the wall. And finally the AC leaked it took them 4 weeks to fix it.

If I could I would rate this place a 0. So I have had bees in apartment for three weeks. I was basically playing hookie with the office representatives because they never resolved the issue. I stated that my roommate is allergic to bees and they had no concern. Now I am in the works of getting lawyers involved and breaking my lease because of how careless the workers are. Please I am warning you do not live here.

I have lived here for 6 years, and I know that I can be a difficult tenant at times. I raise hell when things go wrong, which happens anywhere that you're going to live. In March, I lost my job due to the COVID crisis. Mike and Amanda worked so hard to get me rental assistance for 2 months! I'm a single parent, and was terrified of losing my apartment. They didn't let that happen. I'm back to work, and things are looking up. Mike and Amanda could have left me to suffer and be homeless, but they really went above and beyond to keep a roof over mine, and my daughter's head.

Today I was supposed to move into Lakeside Casitas. Today is also the day that Lakeside Casitas let me down. I applied over a month ago for my unit and had the set move in date of 09/15. First of all I didn’t get my lease when scheduled. I had to wait until today to sign it in office. Second of all I entered my unit to find the flooring completely trashed to the point of needing replacement, a white powder substance on the carpets(which I’m not sure are pet safe for my dog), and a lot of painting still needed to be done on the outside of the unit, but how are they supposed to replace the flooring when I’m moving in today? Oh I just have to wait until Monday or Tuesday when my lease is up at my current residence and I work during the week. The person that walked the unit and determined it was fine needs to be fired. This is peoples HOMES that they’re messing with. I would not recommend Lakeside Casitas.
Make sure you read the lease well and they tell you about all the hidden fees (Processing fee for water sewer trash) The rents continue to increase yet do minimal upgrades to apartments. Do inspections twice a year on each apartment. Complex will fine you for certain things. Cars have been booted or towed by outside company so make sure your car is in working order and has current registration on it. Please try to do the speed limit in the complex. There are children riding bikes, scooters etc. and many speed through the complex to get home or out. Was nice when I moved in but is slowly going down hill.
I've been here about 4 months and I love my apartment! It's so big and the washer and dryer are such a luxury. My covered parking is near my front door and my patio is large and private. The maintenance guys are great and very responsive. The office staff wonderful. I hope to stay here a long time. ( I especially love the shower controls...it's all in the details)
If you're thinking about renting here do NOT. Run FAR FAR AWAY from these apartmennts. My wife and I were loyal renters of Lakeside for over two years after we first got married. We were never late on our payments and kept the apartment in good condition. Recently they had a change in management and with the change in management seemes to have come a lack of care in their residents. Before the management change, if we had a maintenance issue it would be taken care of within a day of us putting it in, especially if it was a major issue. After the change, you're lucky if you can get a response within a week of putting in your request. We had a wasp nest being built (for the THIRD time) on our patio and it took 3 weeks of calling constantly to get someone to take care of it, always being told "we're sorry we'll have someone out as soon as we can" at the same time we our dryer broke which means we couldn't dry our clothes. Took over a week and 3-4 calls to the office to get someone to fix it (which turned out to be a 5 minute fix) - and when you talk to them about these major issues (not being able to dry clothes is a pretty big issue IMHO) and how important it should be to get someone to fix your problem, they just seem to have a casual attitude about it and a "oh, okay, we'll get someone there as soon as we can" Fast forward to today. My wife and I were recently offered a house at an amazing price. We are planning on starting a family hopefully and needed a bigger space. Naturally of course that means breaking our lease They hit you up with an EXTRA MONTH of rent. Despite the fact that they know you are having to make a lot of extra payments while going through the home buying process, despite our good standing with them as faithful renters. They just don't care about you. On top of wanting another month of rent, we were just hit with a THREE HUNDRED DOLLAR cleaning bill - for not doing stuff that isn't mentioned in the renters agreement. $300. So never mind that we have a mortgage payment coming up, or that we already payed them an extra month of rent (when they know they'll probably turn around and rent it to someone else as soon as we leave), now we have to deal with this. And when we tried to tell them how faithful we were as renters and on time with our payments, etc. over two years, they didn't care. So yeah, run FAR AWAY from this place they do not care about you as a renter or your situation absolutely no sympathy or caring or compassion.

Lakeside casitas has been for the most part a good place to call home although some things are very irritating like the front gate that we as residents pay for is NEVER closed at night its always broke so it's useless to call this place a "gated community" tonight made the 13th night in a row freely driving in...next would be how thin the walls are I can hear my neighbors conversation I also dislike how dark it is at night getting home at 4am due to my hospital work schedule it's awfully dark coming in the FOUR light post leading to my apartment have never worked since moving here (March) it's also concerning that what looks to be homeless love this place for dumpster diving I've seen them out there with flash lights on bikes wagons and even a car jumping into a huge blue bin ment for furniture etc...the washer runs very loud as well but that's probably common...the office staff is always helpful and respond quickly I rated lakeside a 3 for these reasons I also think it's slightly over priced considering I've spotted a few places $60/$70 cheaper with very updated appliances oh yeah another thumbs down is the maintenance men are friendly but also slightly disrespectful when you're leaving your home and they stare at you like a piece of meat looking back as you get into your vehicle etc this happens often it's very scary...but the grounds are kept up pretty nicely never did use the pool too many people in at once a ton of kids live here as well not a problem for me but others may find it loud very loud...hope this helps you make the best decision you can...water is included in your rent but it's a community average which is crummy you're essentially paying more than you would otherwise especially in my case it's just me and my child and I've gotten hit for $58-$72 which to me seemed high when asking why that's when I was made aware of their water bilking average...anyways best of luck
Every midnight and early morning, neighbor play so loud music with opnened window.The neighbor's car stay in park a lot and opened car window then play so loud music with high powe volum. I went to sleep and woke up in a hour cause that problem. Exactly it is not comfortable here. I am out here.
Can not sleep due to loud drinking and parting neighbors all night long. Management states they can not do anything. If you like drinking and partying all night long, this place is for you. I'm out of here.
My apartment very clean 2 bedroom place with beautiful walk through kitchen. 2bathrooms and ceiling fans in bedrooms. Very quiet community and great for kids.
