Property Ratings at Lakeside Reserve
The hospitality here is great. The property manager Denise is so welcoming and professional, I felt heard. The property is BEAUTIFUL.
I moved into my townhouse with one rent lady,she was terminated and another woman was hired. She came in towards the middle to end of July,She sent a eviction letter for June 28th stating rent was behind 22 days,I paid my rent June the 4th.I changed jobs in which I talked to the previous landlord and cleared it,my rent was going to be late for July.She gave me til the end of July to pay it,in the meantime the New Lady coming in is a bit impatient, there's allot wrong with the units flooding,mold,leaking,windows not installed properly, AC Units not working properly, etc. I've been patient with all of this because they don't have a real maintenance person,the new landlord blame Corporate, meanwhile nothing is getting fixed.Last but not least I'm allergic to penicillin, I'm supposed to wear a bracelet or necklace,it's that bad and we have mold in our unit.
I moved into this property formally know as Crystal Lake Apartments. The current state of things is there is no maintenance or management ever available due to being in middle of reconstruction under new ownership. I understood that going in, but the following are the issues that could have been easily resolved with communication. I went without a mailbox for 2 months and when they finally set up one they never provided a key. I have mail locked in a mailbox that I need. I have no access to and management just refuses to even message back to provide a key. The site and the units they are advertising have a Dishwasher included and on our move in date we had to take another unit due to flooding of the one they set aside (flooding seems to happen frequently here). The Unit I have does not have a dishwasher that was promised and they have been avoiding the topic altogether as they keep giving me the run around if they are going to provide one or reduce my rent. This property has not been maintained for so long that pests here are insane and I need to put out ant traps daily to prevent them inside my town home. They do not have pest control at all. A lot of this could been handle properly if there was good communication but the property manager quite often ignores any messages and currently is ignoring my request for a key to my mailbox which has important items in there.
