Lakeside Apartments

Very unorganized when it comes to maintenance request. Requested maintenance months ago and and have tried scheduling a time, but they don't show or don't return my calls. Bathroom was in bad condition upon move-in and have been trying to get it fixed.

Great location, beautiful lake. The sounds of ducks is enjoyable and gives the premium feel having a apartment on a lake. Nice neighbors and the option to have bigger dogs is awesome.

Lakeside Apartments is a cute little, recently renovated community- but now offers no amenities due to them turning the community gathering place, the rec-room, and their weight room into 2 more revenue earning dwellings. The only draw to live here now is a very small pool (but bring your own chair, they dont provide any.) The neighbors try to keep the bad element out, but due to its location right off Clearwater Ave, there are many transient and unsavory people passing through.

Maintenance never bothers to show up. The entire time weve been here, its like pulling teeth to get them in our apartment just to check something out and tell us that he will be back with whatever we need. Leaves us hanging like we have all day to spare and sometimes doesnt get back to us for weeks, even months, if ever. I wish i wouldve known this before we moved in and had to live in a dangerous environment. Upkeep doesnt seem like a priority especially with electrical & plumbing.

Lakeside is a quiet community, pet friendly, with good management. A safe place to live. The apartments are spacious and reasonably priced.

This place is dirty, they never answer their phones, they dodge repairs, are generally unhelpful. The rent is very very over priced for an apartment that smells of urine.

Pretty place to live. Lots of natural wildlife to watch from your patios. Theres has been tons of updating to the building on the outside. Biggest downside is maintenance requests take several months to complete, and while Ive liked all the property managers that have been here, it doesnt look good that Avenue5 has gone through 3 property managers in 1 year.

Management was overall excellent to deal with, and addressed some of the things that where an issues right away, still have a few things that are not to pressing at the time but will be later when it starts to cool down some.

I love my apartment! There is so much room and the price is very reasonable for what you get. The management staff is extremely friendly and very helpful and quick to respond. I would recommend Lakeside to anyone looking for a new place to live.

Lakeside Apartments are well kept up and the property is like a little village all by itself.

Spacious apartments, great location, beautiful scenery

I have a relative that lives here and they moved in because it was advertised as a non smoking community. Every time I go to visit, there are cigarettes all over in the entry way, up the stairs, ashtrays are full in the entry and it smells like smoke steady! When they complained, they were told there was nothing that they could do.

I've lived here for 4 years and it was always well taken care of. Now there's new management and all the grass is turning Brown, the ponds are gross and the swimming pool is green. You never know when they will be in the office. Very disappointed. It used to be so nice here.

I have lived here for 9 years (2 bedroom, 2 bath) and the only reason I'm leaving is because I'm relocating. Otherwise, I would never leave! The management is down to earth and friendly and genuinely want to help you. I still can't get over how much space there is in this place! It's on a really busy intersection but you can hardly hear any street noise unless you have the windows open. Also love the walk-in closet, it's been a dream! The only reason I gave it a 4/5 is that because it is an older complex (built in the 1970s), it's a little on the "quirky" side. I also strongly recommend you get an upstairs unit if you're sensitive to noise; the walls are fine but the ceiling/floors are thin.

I lived at Lakeside for about two years now and I love it. Eventually I am going to buy a house and move but I would never leave it for another apartment complex. I live in a two bedroom two bath apartment and its wonderful. Its very spacious and cozy. I love my fireplace, it definitely makes the winter night cozy and warm. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone and everyone that I know is looking for a place to call home. The manager is friendly and very nice, the maintenance guys are on top of fixing anything that goes wrong in my apartment. Its just an all around great place to live!

I have lived here for one month. I had problems with my fireplace and toilet. They fixed it the next day. The Apartments are large. Dining room and Living room are separated by a large fireplace. There is a shed on the back patio that you can keep your wood in. There is a pond that goes around all of the apartments. You can feed the ducks and geese. Oh, and the bathroom is large. It has two separate sinks on a very long counter top. The bedroom has a large long walk in closet. They have washer and dryer hookups. There is a separate linen closet and a very long hallway closet. I love it. I only have it half full. The kitchen is small but it's ok. The bedroom is good size. I live in a one bedroom. You will be glad if you move into these apartments
