Property Ratings at Lakeside Village Apartments
Truly if I could give a negative star review I would. I would NEVER recommend these apartments not even to my worst enemy. Let's just create a list here. 1. Moved in to roaches and baseboards missing. 2. Constant plumbing issues which cause the toilet to over flow upstairs and down stairs. The baseboard ended up being ripped out of the down stairs bathroom and never replaced. The water from the upstairs bathroom came through the ceiling on top of the down stairs toilet. 3. A week or so before christmas had yet another plumbing issue. Toilet water flowing out into the parking space and side walk. Inside caused a HUGE brown stain from one side to the other in my living room and dripped all over my living room so christmas was a blast but they never fixed that. 4. Constant issues with the ac unit. In the summer it didn't run. During the summer it was either out for 3 months straight or running constantly and not cooling the house at all. A piece in our unit inside was sparking so they had wrapped it in electrical tape. Then that piece had enough so they took the same piece out of another unit to put in ours. 5. Constant cop activity around. 6. Had to have ac units in all 3 bedrooms upstairs because the ac did nothing. 7. Dishwasher was Constant holding water. 8. Unfilled holes all over the apartment. 9. Mice became an issue which they did nothing about so we had to have the state health inspectors come out to investigate. 10. There's a pool but never filled or open. 11. They didn't PAY THEIR WATER BILL AND EVERY DOOR GOT A NOTICE FROM THE STATE THAT OUR WATER WOULD BE SHUT OFF IF ITS NOT PAID. Apartments response : it was a mistake. 12. Trash cans are always over flowing because they dont pay those either. 13. Before we moved out they were trying to bribe people to leave a 5 star review for $10 off rent. And if you paid by the first you would get $100 off rent(never saw that) and be entered into a drawing for an apple product. 14. Water was Constant shut off. I can go on and on but I'll stop there I think yall get it.
I moved in a year ago into apartment 150 and let me tell you, the amount of changes Barbara and the staff and NEW (thank Gd) ownership has made is forcing the other properties around to try and keep up! Things are really good around here now. All work orders are handled right away, my kids can now be outside with friends with no worries and people moving in here are really good clean and nice! I just renewed for a second year! Highly recomend over anything else in the area.
Do t come to this apartment complex. They advertise a laundry facility on site and there isnt one it's only in unit. There is no real basketball court either. The maintenance isn't what it used to be a few years ago as of right now the place is falling apart. They want to charge you extra for a lake side view. Really it's a pond that has trash littered in it. There have been shootings here as well as children vandalize your property and ths parents won't do a thing. Over all not worth the value that they ask. Unless your stuck there already don't trap yourself. Staff may be friendly but it's also about one of the very few good things.
We lived in a townhome. The storage space is poor. The neighborhood is not safe. There is a group of kids roaming around the complex all the time that vandalize the property. There was recently someone shot and killed in front of the leasing office. There is constant shootings around the area. Our apartment was broken into about 2 months ago and they still haven’t fixed the window. The property constantly shuts off water because people keep clogging up the pipes with baby wipes, diapers, and feminine products.
Barely fix anything, ceiling falling in , plumbing issues, last year we could use the pool. This year with the new management we can not because" kids were throwing rocks" she said that about the basketball goal and now the pool too. They are barely in the office during "office hours"Hopefully you can reach them by phone! Arch/Arc Property managment sucks! Save your money!
