They don’t care here it was a bad experience finally moving out after 2 years staff is rude it’s noisey not worth the pay. My family and i have been through enough of bad luck here just be cautious if you do decide to move here..

The property itself is beautiful! Since I've moved here I've had nothing but great communication with the with the apartment staff! Would definitely recommend these if you are looking to live in Grand Prairie!!

I have not once been contacted by phone regarding application, each time I’ve had to reach out concerning my application. Each time I call in following up I feel as though I am being rushed off the phone with little to no updates! When calling in and following up there has been no progress made or I am told I’ll be notified or contacted back but each time that does not happen! Horrible people skills and customer service!

Save yourself the headache and irritation. Do NOT move here. I’ve been here since April of 2020 and there have been nothing but issues since. To start off, if you have pets, good luck. You pay pet rent and I have photos and time stamps to show that the dog poop trash can wasn’t emptied and was overflowing and absolutely disgusting from April 27th until JUNE. JUNE!! Next, there’s the trash. It’s EVERYWHERE. Trash is literally covering this entire property 24/7. Garbage in the parking lots, garbage in the stairwells, garbage in the grass. You name it. The upside is you are forced to pay for “valet trash service” and they don’t even come pick up your garbage the days they’re supposed to. That’s just on the outside!! On the inside since moving in, I’ve had multiple maintenance issues I’ve had to resolve MYSELF, because the online ticketing system is crap and they will close your tickets without ever doing anything. Trying to be proactive? Just call the office number. Nobody will ever answer, regardless if you leave a message. Wanna try email? That’s not better. I’ve tried to contact this horrid propertie’s office over 20 times since moving in and not once. ONCE. Have I ever been able to get ahold of someone. I know people think folks are more inclined to leave scathing reviews when they themselves are in the wrong. However I still have 9 months left on my lease, and you’d think that when you’re paying over $1400 a month for a two bedroom, someone would at least have the common courtesy to pick up the phone and tell me to f**k off instead of leaving me to come to that conclusion myself. Do NOT move here. If I was less caring about my credit I’d break my lease tomorrow just to get out of this hell hole.

Our gate has been broken this year longer than it has been working. My dog on a leash has been attacked by 3 dogs in 5 days all not on leash. Good luck calling, you will get 50 rings no answer and no way to request service or anything else. Beyond disappointed and keeps getting worse. Trash and broken glass laying all over.
ZERO STAR Rating if I COULD STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not bother wasting your time coming to look here. DO NOT move in here!!!! * High property mgmt turnover that didn't care about their tenants. * Failed to make repairs. * Enter you unit under false work orders and when questioned they can't support the entry * AC in the 3 bdrm unit is undersized and will not cool the unit esp in the summer months. * Security gates broke ALL the time. * Trash service provider fails to pick up - yet you are paying for it. * Mgmt makes false statements about you and when asked to validate the statements, they can't * Numerous tenants complained about thefts * Maintenance left a garage open during a work order repair resulting in a theft YOU will regret moving here................
There is nothing LUXURY about Lakeside Villas August 2017 I made the mistake of moving into Lakeside Villas, it was by far the worst experience I've ever had living in an apartment complex. Within the first month I found poop on the stairs, to this day I dont know where it came from. The management was horrid, ill suited, and incapable of proper communication with residents. November 2017 there was a fire in my building (Building 1) to the point of doors being kicked in (my neighbor across the hall door was kicked in and left off the hinge) and smoke damage to the units immediately surrounding. I was out of town at the time of the fire. No one ever sent out a notice, sent an email, or made a phone call. After the holidays when I returned a neighbor informed me of inconvenient events that took place. The unit where the fire took place still shows damage. Lakeside Villas is marketed as a gated community, during my stay there was a hole in the fencing that someone had clearly used as a way in and out of the property. I notifyed management in early December 2018 and it took them over two months to fix. The property lights would consistently go out and would not be replaced. I've seen coyotes on the property and so have other residents and the maintenance guy at the time legitimized my account stating he saw coyotes around buildings 1 and 5. I understand management can't control wildlife, staff members knew of coyote sightings and never communicated to the residents. January 5-9 2018 there was absolutely no lighting in the stairwells of my building, and during that time frame power in the building was a hit or miss (some nights I came home to no electricity at all). Stemming from the subsequent fire, trying to make ready the apartment where said fire was. They blew out the electricity in the entire building, trying to fix that one apartment. When I came home January 5th I was amazed at the fact I had no electricity. Once again there was no communication. We were never recompensed nor was our rent prorated. The only response ever given to me about the situation from management was "things happen". Throughout my stay the property was sketchy. Improper lighting, gates that don't work, questionable characters roaming about the parking lots. Apparent drug use. The apartments with "yards" are atrocious.! Yard gates are broken, and yards are filled with DIRT. The lawn by building 1 turns to mud when it rains. UNDERSTAFFED!
My husband and I stayed here for 2 years and 3 months. I'm not going to say the experience was terrible, because I would be lying but it def could've been better. Let's start with the fact that the very first month we lived here, they put an eviction notice on our door and we had paid the rent for 3 months ahead already. They switch management way too much and they get rid of all of the actual good staff. The pool is never clean, always looks dirty and full of leaves. In over two years can you believe that we have never been swimming in our own apartments. The rent is ridiculously high and then they got rid of the government job discounts. Most apartments do competitive pricing, but it's like they don't even care. All the apartments on the block have better deals. You think they look nice and they are, but they still have issues. Looks good on the outside. We are extremely clean people and our home was infested with nats and we've seen a roach or two. Lastly, my biggest issue is that my cousin used to live in these apartments and her house and car got broken into. They refused to let her look at the cameras and basically said it was her fault. A year later, my husband and I car got broken into and of course they said it was nothing they could do and they don't have cameras in that area. And to make all this worse, at no point for either incident were letters sent out to the complex. It's like the officer on site is just for advertisement. I know apartments in the hood who have better security than these apartments. Officers who aren't just for show, but who actually patrol. Don't get me wrong, the officer is very nice but they either need more or he needs to patrol more. And let's not forget the fact that the gates are always broken!! I'm just glad we are moved!!
STAY AWAY. Probably the most unaccommodating apartment complex I've lived in. Unwilling to keep returning residents happy, increase rent significantly, upper management unresponsive (Kettler), cockroaches in apartment even when it's spotless, parking is a hassle (not enough visitor parking and inconvenient locations), gates are constantly broken and do not provide security at all (might as well not even have gates), lights are constantly out in the breezeways making it super dark and really creepy at night, can hear neighbors, apartment was filthy when we first moved in way back when, office people are very rude and not agreeable. Would definitely go for a different complex before ever choosing this one. Once this lease is up, we're out!
I have lived here over a year and will be renewing lease I have not had any issues plus i love the monthly events they have to get the residents involved as well as free food for the days you don't feel like cooking after a long day of work. Great place to live
I have lived at Lakeside Villas for over a year and have found it hard to have a complaint. The appliances are all new, the counter tops and the paint leave it feeling very home-y with minimal decoration. For what the apartment offers and the location it is very reasonably priced and the staff has been very quick to solve any issue I have had. My only con is that the bedroom lighting is dim, but lamps fix that issue quickly. All around a great property, great staff and great location.
