Property Ratings at Lakeside Vintage
I loved the process of getting in and out! Special thank to Kiara, she’s literally the best I’ve ever experienced when it comes to renting a place! Clean environment, friendly neighbors & Very Very Affordable Leasing!

We’re so glad to hear you had an amazing experience with Kiara and are loving your new space! It’s always our goal to make the process smooth, affordable, and most importantly joyful. Thanks for sharing this feedback! We’re here to keep the good vibes going.
Current residents & I’m past ready to go! No AC the ENTIRE year we’ve been here. Looked at it a dozen times & said it needs replaced but absolutely nothing is done about it or ann else around here. Worst management I’ve ever dealt with. Unprofessional, inept & worthless. Grounds are nasty, “lake” is filled with trash, shootings & break-ins. Can’t ever catch anyone in the office. I used to be a property manager for years & this place is a case study of everything NOT to do.
My wife and I drove around this apartment complex and it doesn’t really match the pictures online. It was a bunch of people hanging out in the breeze ways. The trash was all over the place. It doesn’t look like a safe place to say for our grandchildren! Good luck if you visit the property!

We are disappointed to read your comments, which certainly don't reflect our goals for the upkeep and atmosphere of our community. We strive to provide a place that our residents enjoy coming home to and will take your comments quite seriously.
I am happy to call Lakeside Vintage home. I enjoy my balcony overlooking the lake. The ladies in the office, Kim and Sonya, are very friendly and helpful, as are the maintenance guys, Michael and Cardaro. I have lived here two different times, so the fact that I came back says a lot.

Your loyalty certainly is appreciated and we are glad that our team has taken such good care of you - both times you've lived here! We will pass along your kind words to Kim, Sonya, Michael, and Cardaro!
I see why there are so many bad reviews. Yes, there is a rodent issue. I paid fees and deposit. Decided NOT TO SIGN LEASE and move in due to the apartment maintenance. Dead rat in closet, entire ceiling leakage in bathroom, dirt and grime build up on bathroom floor and patio area, capret was coming up in bedroom and appeared to be wet with mold underneath, apartment smelled like mildew. The apartment was just not move in ready. Gave the key back, requested my money back and never signed the lease. Anyway, had to file a claim in justice court. They did not show up today (10-5-22). A default judgment was rendered in my favor, I am patiently waiting on my refund 1,020 dollars. Also, another individual also filed a claim and won because they did not show up after being served. Just poor management. I requested contact information to the corporate office last month and they have not responded with that information. This complex needs new landlords.

Apartments are mold infested!!! Made three complaints to the property manager about a leak in the roof and all she kept saying was she would send someone to look at it. Three weeks later the guest bathroom has mold everywhere and I’m paying for a two bed two bath and can’t even use nothing but one bathroom because of the smell of mold!! My guest bathroom window is broken which is running up the light bill no one has yet to come fix it either !! The manager will make it seem as if she cares and going to send someone knowing no one is going to come fix anything !! We are paying for pest control included into the rent but no one comes to spray. The water from the roof has the roof sinking in and this is unacceptable due to rent prices being so high !! Please save your money and move to somewhere where you get the most for your money!!

Currently living here and I have to say, I can't wait to move back to NC. There's black mold throughout the apartment and multiple things need replacement or repairs. You get behind on rent? Get prepared to pay either a $30-$200 late fee that you're expected to pay with the rest of the rent you still owe or get ready to get the heck out. People here have known about the issues our place has and have still refused to do anything about it. Yet have contractors out here fixing everyone else's crap? On top of it, upstairs neighbor has everything brand new? Seriously?! On top of it, the previous tenant brought BUGS! FREAKING BUGS and they only sent someone out ONCE to spray and they only got worse after the spraying! They've infested our stove, fridge, above stove microwave (keypad doesn't work right, burner on stove doesn't work)and the rest of our stuff! On top of that, we suffer from ants Everytime it rains, carpet needs replacement, stove and microwave need replacement, bug infested fridge now needs to go bc OF the bugs, dishwasher is falling apart and not functioning well (roll out shelves falling apart, leaks and doesn't wash and dry dishes properly), AC and heat system thermostat needs to be replaced, AC unit is making strange noises and sounds like it's about to die, outlet in living room needs replacement. Too much to list. Heck, the entire place needs to be gutted out bc of the mold and bugs. Don't move here, especially if you have little ones. Not a healthy place to be at. You'll find cheaper rates elsewhere and actually have things fixed!

They have RATS ?? running everywhere. Run now!!!!I’m scared at night so many gang bangers . This no place to raise a family. I will not be renewing my lease in March .

While our team appreciates all feedback, we are disappointed to read these false and harmful claims. Our property is kept clean and we have received zero reports about rodents. These are serious allegations that our team does not take lightly, and we would like to speak with you directly. Please give us a call when you can.
I’ve lived here for three years and have had mold that nothings been done about. The wall outside is rotting and the siding falling off in chunks especially after it rains! They keep offering move-in fees but for the loyal customers we don’t get any sort of specials and rent just goes up every year. When I moved in my carpet was nasty and my walls were not painted (I went to see it a month before we moved in and it looked exactly the same when they were supposed to do a lot of work to it) and every lease renewal I ask if they can clean my carpet walkways at least and I get told no
i have renewed my lease fot 6 years now,my carpet is worn,my walls need painting my stove is broken, and the rooms are too small for me and 2 kids,i always pay on time becaus evection start after the 5th.i lost my job in 2014 due to pregnancy after paying late,i was asked to pay an extra 200 dollars or face evection,i was on unemployment,i needed the money for my kids christmas,it really hurt having to pay extra late fees, with no negotiations from office management.
Our apt has a three room view of a tree-lined lake that features 2 fountains, year-round ducks, turtles and is stocked with large bass which can be seen swimming in the clear water. The apt pool is large and kept clean. It's air-conditioned exercise room has ample equipment with water fountain and adjoining bathroom. The residents are extremely friendly, no one is a stranger but all respects others privacy. It's a quiet, well kept property close to entertainment yet far enough away from a big city to avoid its associated aggravations.
I like the location of the apartment and the upkeep the grounds are well kept.
