Property Ratings at Lakeside Vista
Some aspects of the experience were good -- responsive management, easy access to Ithaca College, good bones in the apartment. The apartment was very old and the appliances and bathrooms were in bad shape, we spent a lot of time putting in requests for service and dealing with it all. Our front cement steps were falling apart, we were told they were in code --- not sure who decides that, but they were bad. And then, unlike other apartments that might take off a general amount for an apartment not left sparkling clean, they charge for every individual thing. It seemed unfair as the apartment we walked into had several unappealing aspects.
I had a great experience with Lakeside Vista! It was one of the few affordable pet friendly apartments that I could find in the Ithaca area. Management and maintenance were very timely, friendly and efficient. Parking can sometimes become crowded but in my time there I never was unable to find a spot.
