Property Ratings at Lakeview at the Bay
Besides the struggling palm trees(Probably due to the heat) I love it here! The office people are great and maintenance has actually been on top of things no. The lady in the front gives my dog treats all the time l, makes it feel like home.

Thank you so much for the 5-star review and for sharing with us why you have enjoyed your experience thus far. Please let us know if you were to ever need anything going forward. Thanks again.
Lived here for 1 year after my previous apartment burnt down. The apartments are very old and the cabinets have been painted over about 1000 times and there are maintenance needs all the time. With that being said however, I’ve never run into any particularly frustrating issues with anyone. Currently the pool is only open on office hours because of COVID.

If zero stars was an option I would have picked that. This apartment complex had me fooled also until I moved in. The manager here is of no use at all. If you try to talk to her she knows everything and will lie to your face. I have lived here for 11 months now and cant wait until we move out. I have had bed bugs, spider problems and roaches. I've been to the front office at least 100 times since I lived here. They dont care about anyone that lives here. I started making waves about the bugs and about my downstairs neighbors and them being loud and smoking weed all the time. Ever since I started complaining a few months back all of a sudden I was supposedly threatening to a women who lives here. They tried to give me a 10 day notice. I threw it at the lady at the office and said this whole thing was made up. They say I threatened a women. Wheres the witnesses or the cell phone footage. They say i scared her to death and that she ran to her apartment from me. Where is the proof? This lady Jordan who is the manager lies constantly to anyone about everything. We had to have the office send workers to out apartment to clean off our balcony because of spider infestation. They didn't even tell the temp guy and sent him to clean up deadly spiders such as brown recluses and black widows. This place is awful and please find somewhere else to move. They will ruin your expectations of a luxury apartment. Lol they call these luxury apartments. That's a joke in itself.

This place is awful. I am afraid that I'll get carpal tunnel if I outlined all of the things that have gone horribly wrong with my stay here. Hell, the day after I signed my lease is when the hell began. To sum things up for those that may take the time to view this: Maintenance is lazy, they overlook things, half do their jobs, and are clearly not held accountable. Management is awful and doesn't respond to anything in a timely manner if they respond at all. The place is dirty I wish I could give this place 0 stars

Thank you. - The Lakeview at the Bay Team
This place is ridiculous! Yes the model is beautiful, no one lives there, there isn't even gas or water connected to it. I gave management (for lack of a better word) my list of things that were wrong, didn't work, broken stuff, etc.... soon after I moved in. The staff makes appointments for maintenance to come & fix but they never show up & I'm sitting here after taking days off from work, just to have no one show up. Then a week after the appointment as I am getting ready for work, they just walk in unannounced. Staff seems to think this is funny. They charge enough and are extremely demanding when you owe them but screw you if you need some thing from them.
This is by far the worst apartment complex that I have ever lived in. The staff is rude and extremely unhelpful. The apartments and the amenities are old and run down, and the overall complex just isn't well taken care of at all. While living there the streams were constantly broken creating gross, and foul smelling stagnant water and the grassy areas were always flooded by the sprinklers which lead to a ton of bugs everywhere. The pools were never clean and there are a lot of ducks on the property that would frequently go into the pools, which is a HUGE health hazard. On top of the ducks that liked to attack any dog that walks past them, the complex was riddled with stray cats that people would feed without thinking about the diseases that they could be carrying. My dog got very sick and ended up costing me $800 in vet bills that was caused by being around diseases cat feces from these stray cats. The apartment I moved into was hastily covered in a layer of paint in an attempt to cover up the fact that it was dirty and falling apart. While living there my air conditioner broke a total of 13 times! The second time, the maintenance crew noticed that it was breaking because there was a part that needed to be replaced as it was the wrong size. They said that this part would be ordered so I called and went into the office every other week to find out when that part would arrive just to be told that "they would check on it". Some days I would get home from work at 4:30 PM to find it broken, call in the emergency maintenance line (which is supposed to be 24 hours) AND call the office, just to either be told that no one could make it until the next day or to have no one answer my call at all or show up to fix it. By my last month there I let the office know that this had been breaking consistently and that I had been pushing the part back into place by myself in an attempt to fix it most of the time and the girl didn't seem to care at all. This complex is also filled with a lot of college age kids that are constantly partying, smoking weed and even lighting off fireworks in the parking lot at all hours of the night. The only thing good about this place was that there were a couple of maintenance guys that were very friendly and nice and genuinely wanted to help you, however the office sucked so bad that they usually couldn't.
I thought this place was pretty good when I lived there back in 2008. You might be thinking, "That's a long time, any complaints wouldn't be the same now." Ah but you see, my problems with them are only taking shape now. When I moved out, I received my deposit back, and left feeling good about my time there. In 2011, they reported me to collections for a "cleaning fee" that they never told me about, and should have taken out of my deposit if I actually owed it. I didn't find out about this till many years later. I called up, and they said that once they pass it to collections, they no longer have information on it. Now here we are in 2016, I'm buying a house, and it's been weeks since they said they'd pull this file to investigate. Of course, for the low low price of $165 it can just go away! It's been almost a decade since I lived there, and they're asking me to prove to them that I don't owe this money, like that would be possible to do. So don't move into this place, unless you want to fight to have your perfect credit restored, since this is the only negative thing I have on there. I even asked "Well, is there a way we can settle it?" "Yeah, you can pay the whole thing. But we won't remove it from your report, we'll just say it was settled." Disgusting business practice, and I'll be looking into what I can do legally.
If you expect your apartment to look like the model don't. Tons of things will be broken or just not work and if you want them fixed do it yourself. Maintenance is a complete joke, requests constantly go unfilled, and the front office is filled with people so incompetent McDonald's wouldn't hire them. The Torino group that manages the property is non-existent and clearly doesn't care about the property and the residents as exhibited daily. Do not move in here. Dont even come for a tour you will only be disappointed after that. I'd give this place negative stars if possible. Can't wait for my lease to end.
I broke my lease before I even moved in because the management there is horrible. I heard that from many of the residents there and experienced myself.
