Property Ratings at Lancaster Ridge
If 0 stars was an option, that would have been my rating. My wife and I moved into Lancaster Ridge in March 2023. During those 16 months we have had 4 Property Managers and 3 different Management companies with the current management company, Asset Living being the worse by far. Let me list some of my concerns so that you can better understand my rating. First, each building is currently fighting a serious roach infestation. Second, the trash containers often overflow into a rodent attracting large scale smelly mess. Thirdly, we have a plywood constructed USPS kiosk. We have a nice, securely lit USPS kiosk but it was discarded over a year ago in favor of the new “temporary” mail kiosk. We have lived here for 16 months and the community pool has been open 4 1/2 weeks during that time. It is now July 6th and the pool remain a dark green pool of slime. Each resident is getting assessed a monthly $15.00 “amenity fee”. This property has only one “amenity” and that is the filthy green pool. The Asset Living office staff is rude, aggressive, and have the worst listening skills. Langston Ridge is NO bargain and I would highly caution you before you sign a lease.
They charge a ridiculous amount of money for what you get. The apartments are crawling with bugs and management says it’s “not their responsibility” for the pest control. There is nothing worth the amount of money they are trying to charge to live here. If you care about your health and cleanliness, do not live here.

Apartment is crawling with bugs, interior is cheap and bare minimum, and maintenance never fixes anything. Avoid these apartments. NOT worth the price!

I’ve enter countless maintenance requests for things that were supposed to be fix before I even moved in. Either it’s completely ignored or patched over! To justify this the leasing office have made several accusations with no evidence to support and threatened to end my lease or charge me fees! I have a possible mold issue (very damp apartment with on again off again ceiling leak.) instead of truly investigating I was told it wasn’t mold and the area was painted over. Since the area has started turning colors again and spread with cracks also appearing. Instead of fixing issues they try to find ways to get rid of you if you complain. I pay my rent on time, non of my utilities are late and pretty clean. So they just started making up stuff to where I’ve had to keep records of everything I’m accused of.

I submitted all appropriate leasing documents, but only received back leasing information riddled with errors (i.e., apartment number, rent amount etc). Was told the information on their office computer is frequently inaccurate. Furthermore, my expectation when renting an apartment is to have the exact rental pricing, apartment number and move in date being agreed to by both parties prior to the move in date is a must. In addition, the web site advertised no application fee. Even so, was charged one anyway. Supposed letters were emailed that were never received. (Even checked the spam folder.)
