It is going good so far. Its clean and feels safe. Management takes care of things at a timely rate. The towing is pretty ridiculous though. So if you cant afford to fix your car and get it registered, they have “the right” to tow your car if registration is out of date. Pretty ridiculous and honestly none of their business.

It is a lovely apartment complex with a variety of floor plans to choose. It’s awesome they have a dog park, gym, and a spacious clubhouse. Not to mention the pool with the all the grills to choose. Maintenance is friendly and pretty timely with requests as well.

I just moved to Austin & wanted to be close to my friends so this location is perfect. The Landing at Double Creek also had a good price w/ a move in special, plus nice apts in well maintained buildings, lots of dog walking areas & not just one dog park but three. Also, the leasing was easy with the staff smoothing the journey by being really friendly & helpful with everything.

I have lived here a year and love it! It is a quiet, clean, well maintained complex. The people are friendly. The staff is responsive. My rent is good and I have a large private yard. I highly recommend The Landing at Double Creek. Oh, it is in the onion creek traffic area BUT because of where it is located you have back ways to avoid the 35 traffic and it is 5 mins from Southpark Meadows Shopping.

I'm very disappointed that apartment management can't figure out how to provide a minimum level of cleanliness for us to live in. The rules governing valet trash pickup are being flagrantly ignored and the only penalty for it is paid by the tenants that follow the rules. I won't be renewing my lease next year. I've visited the complex next door and not only are they a couple hundred dollars cheaper but all the units have brand new as opposed to 10 year old appliances and the grounds ar spotless. There is a real sense of a neighborhood there as well.

Landing at Double Creek is a great location, easy entrance. Wish we had a seperate locker for Amazon packages but overall great community. Super close to anything you need.

Nice quiet place to live. The community is calm, quiet and peaceful. Nice pool area and gym. The units are spacious and most of them have a nice view. I enjoy living here. I recommend this place.

Been great so far. More poop bags in the dog park would be nice. But literally everything else has been nice. The place is comfy and the gym space is nice and the pool is kept clean. Love the little store in the clubhouse. And the staff is nice.

My only issue is with the walls being entirely too thin and maintenance never being scheduled to visit. Pop ups whenever they are available is not convenient to people who work nights or have made plans to be away for the day.

Overall pretty good experience. Super quiet area! Maintenance is amazing at coming when needed and fixing any and all problems! Parking is great at times. I wish there was more visitor parking if anything as there are a few weekends that these slots seemed to be fully packed! But over all great place to live!!

My roommate and I like living here. The gym is very nice for an apartment gym and the pool is a nice hang out spot. I wish there was more things inside the dog park for the dogs but it’s a decent amount of space if you’re just throwing a ball around.

The staff is very attentive and helpful. The landscaping and foliage is beautiful and the property is well maintained. Maintenance requests are tended to promptly and thoroughly.

I have lived here 5 months now. I am happy with everything! The staff is great. Price is good. I have 2/2 with yard. The yard is great if you have dogs or kids. I haven't had any issues getting maintenance to come fix problems. The maintenance team is nice and responsive. My neighbors are nice. I The area is safe. I like that I can get to SouthPark Meadows Shopping Center from behind without having to get on IH 35. There is pretty much any store I need in a small radius. Not to mention Buda and Kyle are minutes away which also have very nice shopping centers. It is also close to Downtown!! I work in Central East Austin. The commute can be long due to traffic between 7:30-9am and 5-6:30pm. But if you get on the road earlier or after 9am it is usually only 18-25 mins. I recommend this complex!

We have moved here recently. The appartments are really spacious and open and clean. The amenities are great. Staff is approachable in the office and online.

I've lived here for two years. The location is more convenient than I originally thought. It's really easy to get on i35 going north or south from here. Maintenance is always very kind. It's quiet, even considering how close it is to 35. However: When I moved in, I was promised an upgraded closet. I never got it, and I had to spend weeks following up with the front office just to be told it wouldn't come and they'd take the upgrade off my cost of rent. I asked if I'd get the already upgraded rent I'd spent back and was told I'd have to submit a request and they'd 'look into it.' The place was very sloppy when I moved in. The paint was a mess and I had to touch it up myself and there were nail holes all over the place that I repaired. The visitor parking is awful, my visitors always have trouble finding spots year round. They decided recently to charge $20 for parking. Cannot understand a parking cost here and when I asked about it, they said "The $20 parking charge is a required charge added to all new leases and renewals. You are paying to guarantee a parking spot inside our gates. With the recently implemented towing system, we are trying to weed out visitors parking in non-visitor spots that allow for more openings for our paying residents." I asked what the new towing system was, how this guaranteed a spot, if they would be assigning spaces, and if the towing was done at the owner's expense (which I know it is), why that charge is then passed on to me. The response they gave was "This property now charges for general parking in our gates. No, we will not be assigning parking spots for the general parking." So, you know...add $20 onto your total rent cost here. They also charge for Fetch. They added that on after I moved in. The fee here went from $20 to $23 and when I asked about the change in fees, I was told " The costs for having Fetch at our property have increased, which is reflected in the cost increase for renewals and new leases." So I went from paying nothing extra to have packages delivered here, to $240 a year, to $276 a year for a service I have rarely ever used and could happily live without. The front office has a lot of turnover so you never know who you're going to be speaking to or anything. I partially moved in because I really liked the people at the front office, but it's changing all the time. Also, as indicated above, it's really difficult getting them to answer the questions you ask.

From my personal experiences it starts with management’s unprofessionalism. I’ve had a multitude of grievances. Starting with my vehicle being towed, maggots in the carpet , ants everywhere , hot water comes and goes , the air ducts need to be cleaned for the entire building, rude staff and just seem very unmotivated to satisfy residents issues.

The move in process was very quick and thorough. I’ve enjoyed living here for the short time that I’ve been moved in. I’ve had no issues with staff, residents, or the apartment in general, other than iffy service in the area. I would absolutely recommend Landing at Double Creek to others.

In the short 2 weeks I’ve been here I have had a very unpleasant experience. Maggots in the carpet/pantry/ kitchen area , trucked towed, Noice complaint somehow, lease violation for a out of town friend staying a couple of days. I just don’t want anyone to deal with the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism conducted here at The Landing at double creek.

So far, I have loved my stay at The Landing. Haven’t had any issues in regards to the apartments until the freeze this week. Our whole area was without power (not only our complex), so this was out of the management control. However; the staff did a great job in keeping us updated through email. Since our stoves are electric, we were not able to cook. They ordered meals from a food trucks and gave them to all residents that decided to stay in the complex. I also appreciate the fact that they were at the office even though I was not expecting them to show up due to the hazardous driving conditions. But that didn’t stop them from being at the office to be there for us. This really showed another level of professionalism from the staff.
