Dubbed “the Heart of Georgia” due to its central location and Southern hospitality, Macon is approximately 90 minutes south of Atlanta. Recognized for its renowned musical history, Macon is the location where many artists like the Allman Brothers Band and Jason Aldean got their big break. After all, Macon is the city “where soul lives.”
Just like its passion for music, Macon believes in top-notch education. This city is home to a number of college campuses, including Mercer University and Middle Georgia State University. This family-friendly city boasts excellent public schools as well. Residents and visitors alike adore Downtown Macon for its small businesses and historic sites including restaurants, services, and specialty shops like Parish on Cherry, serving up the best gumbo in the city.
The Big House is a major attraction that celebrates the musical career of the Allman Brothers Band, while the Hay House and Cannonball House represent the city’s architectural history.

Property Manager at Landings at North Ingle, Responded To This Review
Thanks for the review! We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Please let us know if we can do something to make your experience even better!
Always Very rude with a nasty attitude apartment is outdated ceilings peeling the outside was disgusting bugs and spider webs everywhere 0 stars
Everyone was very welcoming. Tawanna, the property manager seems so excited about prospective tenants. She was so knowledgeable and friendly. Really excited about being a resident. A place is only a home when I'm comfortable and at peace. I know they care about the residents and it's beautiful out there (staff and property)!!
The leasing manager has a nasty attitude. Not enough parking. Terrible plumbing system. My hot water heater continued to go out. Not a long term residence area.
I wish i would have listened to the reviews warning me not to move in BEFORE I moved in. They pull you in by being extremely nice, but then your life is miserable from there on out. First, ALWAYS look at the apartment YOU will be living in BEFORE you sign anything. I was in such a hurry to relocate because of my new job, that I fell for the first best thing without exploring. The pictures look NOTHING like what they put me in, but since I already signed the lease, I just dealt with it. The walls were dirty. The bathroom is so outdated. The tub is disgusting. Had to go over it ten times before i just gave up! It took them nearly a month to get me new toilet seats for my master bathrooms when I moved in! Where i live now, I got the seats the same exact day! The kitchen is not up to date. The managers are NICE NASTY (google it). They charge you for everything!! They lie and twist your words. They tow your cars without notice. They come up with fees just because. Also, there are no ceiling lights! Only in the kitchen, bathroom, and master closet will you find ceiling lights. You have to provide your own lighting through lamps. They do have updated apartments, but they are still not worth it. There are nicer apartments in the area for the price. Do NOT move here. The stress, headache, and unnecessary expenses are NOT worth it!
The staff (Marcia and Tawanna) were always so sweet and helpful with anything we needed. They were both quick to respond and act, even beginning with the apartment inquiry. Their timeliness and friendliness are what sold us. The maintenance crew always came within a timely manner. I never waited more than 2 days for a need. They were always the sweetest, too! Very professional and quick. Our 1B/1B apartment was just what we needed, as my husband finished up his Master's degree at Mercer University (15 min away). I commuted for work near ATL; and the location was very close to the interstate, yet tucked away where it was not full of street traffic. Kroger, Publix and many food places/stores were close by and convenient to access. There were some minor aesthetic issues (ceiling stains/wall paint issues) that were present but it did not hinder our living nor bothered us much. The first week we had some roaches, but that's just to be expected with the first few weeks of apartment living. After spraying with some RAID and having pest control come in, we never had that issue again. There were multiple garbage collectors; placed strategically around the property. This helped keep the garbage collections low and not overflowing like some apartment complexes. Only once was there overflow, but that was due to the garbage company missing a collection day. My only major complaint would be towards our upstairs neighbor. He would always stomp around and just drop things on the floor, especially later at night. They occasionally would have people over and they were VERY LOUD. However, that is to be expected with apartment life; you don't always have the most mindful of neighbors. :-) He was tolerable and not worth complaining about to the apartment office. OVERALL: My husband and I needed a low-budget apartment, and for the price we paid monthly, this place exceeded our expectations upon visiting the property, moving in, and living here. This was our perfectly little home for the last year. We are sad to move but would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something cost effective, but safe and homey!
Rent office looks better then the apartments . office folks are rude especially tawanna . no lights in the apartment . roaches are bad . the ceiling chips its stains . they aren't kid friendly they can't keep folks out they pool
I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR A YEAR NOW AND I LOVE IT, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL VERY QUIET AND THE STAFF IS VERY NICE
This is a terrible property. Management is VERY unprofessional. I waited weeks and weeks before someone could fixed anything. The price is good but I guess you get what you pay for. They don't care about anything except getting their rent money in time and don't hesitate to apply the late fee. If you are desperate and in need of cheap stay then go for it but I would not recommend you make it permanent of make this your first choice. Great location, terrible residence. It's loud out here, lots of kids, and when steam hits the ceiling in the kitchen from cooking it falls down. Don't waste your money on a place you can't live comfortably. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I have being living here for about six years. The first years went through about 5 different leasing office managers and the current one now is in my opinion not so great. Now this is my opinion, but it seems like she is not too concerned with the issues that I report to her unless it goes above her head and come back to her. The apartments are okay, they made improvements on the outside of them just recent here. But since I have been here they have redecorated the rental office at least three times. But the apartments are old in the inside, popcorn ceilings, I have asked them to do something about the cooling/heating vents because in order to get air or heat to one particular room you have to close up some of the vents. So I have a two bedroom/one bath and there is no heating/cooling vent in the bathroom. Plus I have to close off the vents in one of the other areas of the apartment just to get heat or air back to my room. I also have a hard time finding a parking spot because some tenants have more than one vehicle and there is no designated parking spots for each unit so it is hit or miss if you find a spot in front of the actual building that you live in. The pest control man comes around without anybody escorting him and he has a key to come in your apartment without any like maintenance or the manager with him, so who knows what this man is doing when he is alone in your apartment. Oh yeah, when the lawn people come to do the grounds, they blow the street area and sidewalks and if you are parked in the way they just blow the dirt right onto your vehicle without a second thought. I have complained about this every time they come out to the rental office but nothing seems to change, they still keep blowing the dirt onto my car.
The apartments are located between down town and the new mall. It is very close to everything and a quick drive to get on the freeway. The apartments are a good value for what you get. The neighbors are friendly and it is very quiet at night.
Landings at north Ingle is really a nice place to live. despite it is relatively old, they are fully services, and the maintenance is great. The location is amazing. you can go to the most places in the city with a maximum 15 minutes driving. But the best places are withing 5 minutes driving. Neighbors are so friendly. There is always fun at swimming pool. I love it here.
Amazing apartment , neighbors, and office personnel. A nice quite area, great place to live.
I came to Macon to move in a total different apartment community. Upon my arrival I didn't like what I thought I was shopping for. I giggled more apartments and came across The Landings at North Ingle. I was pleased with the quick service, availability, location, and prices. It's only been a week so far and I'm happy with the staff and location
I'm very happy with my choice in residing here at the Landings. The property is very clean & quiet
Units were not very well setup inside. They had two levels of apartments and this seemed to be unfair for pricing.
The Landings at North Ingle are a very nice and affordable living solution. The staff is courteous, the apartments are cleverly laid out. I enjoyed my time there very much! Another plus...all neighbors were great about turning off music at a certain time of night, etc.
