Property Ratings at Landmark Apartment Homes
Not worth it the landlord is not pleasant although she acts as so. Only choose if you do t have any other options. The apartments looks good but they’re old and nothing works properly.
I moved to Meridian after being transferred through my job, having moved at the last moment this complex was one of my only choices. The staff in the front office was very helpful and always nice to me during my stay there but there are many underlying issues throughout the whole complex. When I moved in there was a lid missing from one of the toilets, a few pieces of blinds missing and small stains through the carpets along each room, these apartments are definitely heavily used and not taken care of very well. Upon living there for a few weeks one of my cars was vandalized as someone attempted to break into it, all I received was an apology (although cameras were installed a few months later) and no follow-up. As I lived there I would hear comments through various maintenance workers about the poor condition of the complex and their neglect at fixing problems properly, this complex didn't seem to be able to put the necessary funds back into the property. Upon my leave I was given a cleaning list to abide by when moving out of the apartment, and prior to moving out my AC unit went out and was never fixed after multiple communications with the staff. I did my best in cleaning the place ( I have lived in 7 prior apartments and have always received most of my deposit back from each place) and received absolutely NOTHING back from my deposit despite my efforts to clean as was instructed. I was deeply concerned and hurt that the 'charges' that was placed onto me for their cleaning of the apartment happened to exactly match what I had to put down for the deposit. All I received after asking the company about why this was was a load of excuses (unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the place as I left, which I'm sure was a big mistake on my part). While I would say my entire experience at this residence wasn't horrible, I would steer away from this place if you had any other choices. If you stay here, keep documentation of every interaction you have with any problems concerning your stay there.
6 years here and love it. Nice, and friendly staff although the rent is alil bit expensive.
