Office is rude and mean DISGUSTED IN HOW RUDE THEY ARE I called to check availability of apartments in the middle of asking question I was hung up on , called back and was transferred to automated system . Third time I called no one picked up .

I strongly advise against renting at Landmark at Gleneagles due to their new terrible management and rude interactions with neighbors. This community used to be running pretty well under the prior management until it was sold to a new company. It is clear that the new company lacks appropriate expertise in managing apartments. When my roommate and I moved out in April, we asked for a few more hours to grab all of our stuff from the apartment, and they verbally agreed to it. However, they denied their approval afterward and charged us $90 for clean-up. Additionally, they did not send the final rental statement to any of us and instead submitted it hiddenly on the portal and just one day after, sent it to the collection department! This is the first time I have observed such shady business practices. Not only did they send the $140 water bill to the collection department, but they also took all of my $250 deposit. When I emailed them to ask for an explanation, they did not respond. I had to go to their office in person to talk to them. Without listening to my inquiries, they simply said the collection department would call me, and I should pay my balance. They even had the audacity to say they were too busy and cared more about the new potential tenants right now. I understand that the rental business is very profitable, but that doesn't mean anyone without the right expertise and professional attitude can handle it successfully. If Landmark at Gleneagles is not sure how to run this business, I can refer them to some communities around to educate them on how to do their work properly. Overall, my experience with Landmark at Gleneagles has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend renting from them.
My experience at this building has unfortunately been a slow ride downhill. I am renting in a renovated unit however, when renovations were completed I dont believe anyone did a quality inspection. Our first night in the unit- we only had cold water in the unit and it smelled like well water (imagine boiled egg smell; which lasted a period of two days.) I had 24 hr maintenance come and try to fix the problem he was here for over two hours until he figured out that when the water heater was installed they never removed the seal in the hot water line. Fast forward a few weeks- I had to put a ticket for the breaker panel to be fixed besides a burning smell coming from the breaker (located inside the walk in closet) several outlets would not work and you couldnt run the washer at the same time as the dishwasher. And it doesnt stop there folks- smells travel from outside/other units to your apartment. We first experienced this during the summer when our upstairs neighbors would bbq- which would be amazing only the only smell that would come in is the burning coal smell. I decided I couldnt deal with that anymore so I moved to the other bedroom and left the master as a playroom/office. You'd think this would of resolved but no- now I get cigarette smoke waft in at least 2-3 times a week. I've advised the office of this matter on several occasions since its been over a month and I am pregnant and have a small child in the unit. These people could literally care less. After a month and over 3 complaints the only thing they've done is ask the upstairs neighbor if they are smoking or not. Which doesnt resolve anything; I'm not concerned with what others do in their home, I just want my issue resolved by looking at our hvac system- which also was never done. Over a week ago they said they would have someone come clean the vents, still waiting for that. We've asked to be let out of the lease but they are just biding their time giving us band-aid excuse after another. Would not recommend to anyone; dont let the pretty pictures on the website fool you. Also, takes about 5 mins to get from the complex to the main road in the mornings due to traffic.

Been living here for 8 months and it’s the best apartment I’ve lived. I needed an apartment ASAP and the office worked with me. I was not able to see the apartment before I moved in but was pleasantly surprised how clean and move in ready it was. Maintenance workers are nice and they answer calls quick. I have no issues with this apartment complex at all. Have a lot of nice amenities as well. Area is also wonderful. Also, NO BUGS??

Do not rent here. Cannot reach emergency maintenance. AC out for 72 hours. No response to simple maintenance requests. Horrible customer service. Automated messages repeat without any chance to communicate with anyone.

I move in today but I can't say enough about the application process. Eric has been amazing. He always respond so quickly with any questions or concerns that I may have. Never made me feel like I was a bother and always super friendly.

Thank you for praising Eric so highly! He is a valued member of our team, so we appreciate you letting us know what an outstanding job he is doing.
I LOVE this complex! It was pretty difficult finding a place in Dallas that was nice, reasonably priced & felt safe- but I couldn't be happier with this place. And the staff/maintenance is seriously incredible. Very quick to respond and take pride in the community. Super dog friendly- lots of nature & trails close by, but my favorite part is the huge dog park about two minutes down the road.

I moved in last August. The trials and tribulations of moving, ugh. The staff did EVERYTHING possible to ensure I was satisfied and happy. During the big chill in February while I was watching and hearing all of the horror stories of what some properties were doing, the staff here was available and ensuring that the residents were okay. I suffered extremely minor damage in my unit, and it was repaired in a very timely manner. In the meantime, the staff was providing bottled water for residents and still making sure we were okay. When I was given the opportunity to extend my lease, I jumped at it! I love living here and could not be more pleased with my apartment, the property overall, and the neighbors. This is a great place to live and call home!!

We are thrilled to know that our caring service and convenient location have left you impressed. Many thanks for your recommendation and 5-star rating!
I started working with Landmark back in February. Mary is a great leasing agent and even with the winter storm that hit. The apartment that I was due to move into had significant damage. I held out and I was able to be switched over to another apartment for the same price I was gonna pay for the damage one. I am truly excited and looking forward to moving into this community. The whole management team as a whole has been wonderful. Community is quiet and clean and the floor plan is perfect! Can’t wait to call this place my new home

The staff is amazing. They were very kind and helpful. I had a very short timeline to get in and they made sure to have my apartment ready in time. Very clean and quiet complex with 3 pools. If you want to feel safe and right at home come live here. :)

I've lived in a few different apts in North Dallas area and I've never experienced such poorly trained and unorganized staff. I never received a straight answer. No one could ever answer a question without asking around. Follow ups are slow if ever returned. There are two males there that seem to know how to do their jobs, unfortunately I never seem to catch them. I realize these aren't luxury apts and you'll get what you pay for, but organization is a free skill. Manager Julie very rude and immature. Maintenance has always been super friendly.
Best place I've lived in Texas so far. The staff is very friendly, and maintenance is very prompt if there is ever a problem. The residence are all super friendly too. Great place to have a dog, there are nearby trails to take them on and a jogging trail right next door. I've been here for a little over four months now and I love it.

This complex is clean, timely, and has great staff. The rent is low for a decent amount of space and is a great location.

Thank you very much for your feedback! We are happy that you are enjoying your home at our community.
My experience here at Landmark at Gleneagles has been more than pleasing. The property is well maintained and the neighbors are friendly. My favorite feature of this property is the perfect blend of city and nature. I am just off the Dallas North Tollway so I can get to any part of the Metroplex fairly quickly yet I still get to see the lush trees, beautiful blue jays and butterflies. Also, the staff is quite amazing. Christine is one of my favorite people in the office. She maintains the perfect balance of being personable and professional. All these elements together make it easy to call Landmark Gleneagles home.
I been living in my apartments for 6 months. I really enjoy them they are quite the people are nice and they are beautiful.

Nosey pool area by the office during the summer but a nice staff, speedy maintenance, and convenient vaulter trash. Stay in "phase one" for a free covered parking otherwise good luck. The guest parking is scarce at best. Other than that, it's a nice place to call home.

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback with us. We are happy to know that you have had a pleasant experience at our community, and invite you to reach out to us anytime you have a need or concern. We appreciate your input, and are happy to have you as a resident!
Yes I used that title because it must be an act of the force in order for calls to get returned from the office! I have been a resident or about 17 months and if I have any questions and I call, it will take a few days to get a response! Pretty clean. Pretty safe. Maintenance is never late! I can do without the valet trash because I usually miss it with my work schedule, but not a bad place to call home. Just wish I could use the force to get somebody in the office to call back sometimes.
