Cortland at Twin Creeks

I am honestly SHOCKED to see some of the negative reviews on here. I have never had an issue that was not resolved quickly and with such kindness! I know the staff works hard to keep this property a beautiful and peaceful place to live.

Staff at the apartment is always helpful and pleasant.

Don’t move here- mold on INSIDE of windows, $200 electric bills every month due to poor insulation and rude/unhelpful staff.

Prompt response by the service team to shut water off before my apartment was flooded, office staff checked in on the problem big appreciation, one thing though they left a big hole in the ceiling and said job was completed.

Cortland is a great place to live, short term or long term. The staff is amazing, and they are very helpful friendly and concern about you and your needs.A safe place to live also.

The staff is so nice and welcoming they really go the extra mile when they can.

Due to the times we all live in, sadly rent keeps going up but overall this place has been a wonderful experience. It’s near several shopping/restaurants areas and has access to several walking trails.

I would not recommend moving here. It's a great location and the office staff are nice to your face. However, concerns are ignored (even health and safety ones), the interior dimensions are far from what they're advertised as, the price is expensive, and the inside gets tons of bugs all the time, regardless of how clean or tidy you are in your apartment. I would move out but it's too expensive and a lot of hassle right now.

Definitely would not recommend... I am literally embarrassed to invite a guest to visit. Concerns about property cleanliness and appearance have continually gone unresolved with constant excuses.

My Son and I moved here 5 years ago, and we love everything about this Community, its Staff, Property, and Floorplans. I am extremely satisfied with my Home, and content to remain for years to come.

The location, the community, and the people ate amazing. The maintenance team is always making sure our home stays beautiful. The landscaping is kept up by season, making coming home so pleasant. There is staff that has been here for years, over a decade. The new manager, Vivian, has brought a special touch to the community.

I love the community here and all the ladies in the office all maintenance workers, everyone is friendly and makes me feel at home and they make this complex feel like a true community..

The community is gorgeous and definitely has a comforting feeling.

Both the office and maintenance staff are professional, courteous and friendly. They always go the extra mile to make things right when any issues arise.

Cortland at Twin Creeks is a great place to live with convenience to the trail, food, shopping and entertainment. It’s very clean, quiet, and the staff is great.

The office staff and maintenance go above and beyond to upkeep the safety and cleanliness of the community :) I’m very lucky to call this community home, especially it being my first home away from where I grew up. I always feel safe and welcome here.

This is the only place we've lived and never had issues at all. Never had resident issues or staff issues and I appreciate that we were able provide out kids with the stability of this community. They've grown up here and love that we all watch out for each other's kids. It truly fills like community and family.

My opinion on this place after living here for 14 months. Reasons I am moving is my rent is going up a total of $600 for a new 12 month lease and quite frankly, these apartments are no where near that good. There has been constant construction on the property. Mainly the pool has only just become available for use during my entire stay, the workout area has also been under construction and will be done soon. Pros: I have had only 1 issue with noise. People were drinking and playing loud music out of one of the garage units you can purchase at 2AM. It was promptly handled by maintenance. The units themselves are visually just ok. Paint splatters everywhere on the floor, but otherwise sturdy walls. The one time I have had pests (ants coming in from the window) my request was promptly taken care of the following day. The people in the office are nice and handle things fast and professionally. Appliances are up to date and work very well! Trails and walking in the area is very good. Cons: Upon moving in my AC would not blow cold air and this was in the middle of summer. It took 2 and a half months to figure out the issue, and constant requests from myself. Once the AC was finally blowing cold air it still struggles in the heat of summer. It has been blowing non stop and the temperature is still going up inside the unit (as I type this its 78F inside, and 104 outside). So be aware your electric bill is going to be enormous. Recently our mail room has been broken into and vandalized. We have to go the a certain place outside the complex to get our mail. Management has been turning on the water about 2-3 times a week during the day, presumably for construction purposes. Parking can be a hassle, some of the construction equipment and trash containers have been taking up parking spots since I have been here. If you own a motorcycle and do not ride it consistently do yourself a favor and park it further out. People complained repeatedly and threatened to have the cops come out and tow it during the winter because they thought it was abandoned. Overall ending thoughts on the place is that I would have liked to have stayed. I value quiet spaces, and those are rare with apartment living and I found that here. Its really a shame prices are so out of control right now.

Don’t move here. The residents don’t pick up after their dogs; residents dogs bark constantly and nothing is done; I’ve been paying for a gym and a pool that I haven’t been able to use for 6 months.

This is a wonderful community, staff is so friendly and helpful and the grounds are kept very clean. The greenery around the area makes this a little oasis in the city scape that is Allen. There are a lot of children playing and having a wonderful time so if you have kids this is a great community. The shared area with the planted pots of herbs is adorable and help is answered relatively quickly. If our apartment wasn’t being needed for renovations, we would have stayed for years to come.

The service team and leasing team are awesome! My main concern is residents with pets and not picking up after them... also, have the breezeway cleaned and power washed

The entire experience at Cortland at Twin Creeks has been a positive one. I feel safe here, and at home. I have lived here since 2007, and will be here for a few more years. The staff is amazing, friendly, very responsive to anything that we need. I highly recommend living here!

I love this Community. The management here go above and beyond.The Nature Preserve is just wonderful and it is close to shopping plazas and other parks and walking trails.

We have lived at Cortland at Twin Creeks since September 2017 and are very happy living in this community. We recently moved to a renovated unit and absolutely LOVE it! The front office and maintenance run like a well-oiled machine ensuring all questions are answered and service orders are completed in a timely manner. The community is peaceful, the property is well cared for and the neighbors are friendly. Pack your bags and join us, you won't be sorry!

I have lived in this community for some time and I can recommend it based on many aspects, among which stand out the comfort of the apartments, the excellent maintenance of the green areas and landscape in general, the tranquility that we always have, the wide network of nearby highways , easy access to supermarkets, pharmacies, medical centers, very good schools for children and young people, in addition to the cordial and efficient treatment of the staff of the leasing center and maintenance personnel.

Do not move in to this complex, you will regret it. Management do not care about residents, will talk down to you, and when you call them out for not doing their job they will put it on you like it is your fault.

I want to say just knowing all of the management team has been a blessing. They never stop letting you know how important you are to them. They ck on you asked or you ok. They really care about all their residents. Come and see for yourself apply today.

Don't move here, too expensive and amenities are never available. The construction noise and mess is horrible.

I consider that in general that the life experience in this community, Cortland at Twin Creeks, is very good for the attention to solve the problems that may arise, for its well-maintained green areas; due to its low population density (low number of people with respect to the area occupied by Cortland ...), the good treatment among residents and above all because of the accessibility to the personnel of the lising office.

The grass is a trash can for people, they are always renovating so your water will be turned off with no notice or barely any notice. The staff is rude and ignores you. Never apologies or even tries to make things right. The amenities are useless and can't use any of them. Go elsewhere! They are trying to put lipstick on a pig! These apartment are old and raggedy and charging people so much for an ugly and old place!

Lansbrook is an amazing property with a great location right next to a nature preserve and with direct access to the walking the trails. The property looks even better which recently renovated exteriors as well as apartments. However, what sets Lansbrooks apart from other properties is its management and service staff. They have a great chemistry as a team which reflects in their willingness to help with the nicest attitude regardless of the situation.

The maintenance staff at Landsbrook is top notch. They are always willing to go above and beyond! I've been here through several property management changes, but the leasing and maintenance staff have stayed consistently great. I love it here!! CBM
