Property Ratings at Lantana Ridge
The staff was over the top friendly and so full of enthusiasm!! The young lady Mrs Katz was so kind and eager to help me and answer all my questions!
I've lived in this apartment complex for two years, and it has been quite an experience—unfortunately, not a positive one. During my time here, I've witnessed almost 30 car break-ins, often waking up to the sound of shattering glass in the early hours of the morning. If you decide to tour this complex, I strongly suggest taking a look at the vehicles to see which have been targeted. This has been an ongoing issue for over five years, according to what I've learned. What’s most upsetting is the lack of urgency in addressing emergencies. My fiancé and I once returned home to find our apartment filled with strong fumes—unsure if it was a gas leak or chemical fumes. We called the complex’s emergency line, but we never received a response from the maintenance crew, leaving us to fend for ourselves. Additionally, the trash pickup service, which was reliable in the first year, has become random at best since a new company took over. They can come as early as 6:00 p.m. and as late as 3:00 a.m., and sometimes, the trash is just taken out of the bins and left on the ground until the next day. To make matters worse, there's a persistent cockroach infestation that the management seems unable or unwilling to address. Our building is also located next to a construction site, meaning we're constantly disturbed by loud music, hammering, and heavy machinery throughout the day. If you work from home, this construction noise would be a huge issue, and I strongly recommend looking at other complexes. Given my experience and the cost of living here, I do not recommend this apartment complex. If you're looking for a reasonably priced place with a better reputation, there are plenty of other options in the area.
The staff were very helpful in helping me get my apartment booked! They sent me photos of the property and were always willing to explain things to me as I’m a new renter.
Major pest problems and smoke comes in through the ventilation system. I became very sick living there and I believe it is because mold is growing in their AC vents.
A great community! Great staff in the office and on the grounds. Everybody is always helpful and neighborly. I have always been a fan of SW Austin and this is an ideal location.
The staff is making efforts to get the community together, so people can make new friends. Can't wait to see what they have planned for the holidays.
I have been here 6 years and like it. Maintenance has been great so far! A great location in a pretty quiet area. Pretty consisent overall both in customer service and building keep up.
I love living here so much! This is the best apartment complex I've ever been in, and the only one that I have ever renewed my lease at. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming, maintenance is SUPER quick to address any maintenance concerns, and the neighborhood is great!
Good location and nice amenities, but definitely needs some updates for what the rent prices are. Also the parking lots are not very secure (literally anyone can walk right into them even though it's a "gated community" and we experienced multiple instances of vandalism to our and our neighbors vehicles. Maintenance staff is great!

Comfortable, affordable and wonderful community! The maintenance and office staff are always available and helpful. The pool is well maintained and neighbors are responsible, for their pets!
I love living at Lantana Ridge! It is in such a nice area, very short drive to downtown but still quiet and peaceful. The ladies in the office are the best, and the guys who do maintenance are always quick, friendly, and get the job done!

Living at Lantana Ridge for the last three years has been a pretty good experience. I moved here due to proximity to my Son, and now that things have changed I'll be relocating away from Austin. The staff and maintenance team have always been very helpful and kind in the many interactions I've had over the years. Anytime there's been an issue, the maintenance is very diligent and quick to resolve the matter. The community is mostly quiet and has very courteous residents here. Having the option to get a garage to store stuff was a really nice perk and something a lot of places very seldom have. Within the last year they have updated the leasing office as well as the buildings receiving new paint and updated outside cosmetics. I definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking in the area of SW Austin and wants a lot of amenities close by. With the rental prices in Austin still high in my opinion, Lantana Ridge has balanced the price (I believe) as best they can. Adios Austin!

Lantana Ridge continues to provide a calm oasis from the hustle of Austin. The trees provide shade and homes for birds. The pool hits the spot on these summer evenings. Parking is not an issue. Maintenance is quick. Rent is appropriately priced. I was happy to renew for a third year.

The residential experience would be better if Gables would get the gates fixed. Gardening seems to be the priority lately, not safety. It sucks.

I lived at Lantana Ridge for the past 4 years, this place has gone downhill since. Pros: - A nice pool and grill area - The office and maintenance staff is friendly (shoutout to JR) - The location is close to a lot - We had power and water throughout all freezes we encountered the past three years (including SNOVID) here which is amazing. Cons: - overpriced for the lack of security and amenities - I highly suspect there are homeless people living in the woods near building 7. I caught video of a shirtless person walking by my front door at midnight two months ago. - The gym weights were ALL STOLEN TWICE in the past year. - There are A LOT of car break ins within the complex. Our neighbor’s catalytic convertor was stolen at one point.

Started off great when we first moved in two years ago. However, my fiance got parts stolen from his car while in the gated parking lot. We now pay over $100 for an enclosed garage because the gate never works. There were a couple months were people were living out of their car in the parking lot. Also, residents have gotten dirtier - keeping junk ALL over their balconies and in common spaces.
Can't complain. No issues with staff or living conditions. The maintenance staff are the best, great people, very willing to help and super polite.
I have lived here longer than anyone I'm sure - 24 years! I would never have stayed that long if it hadn't been very good. Management and Maintenence have always been there for me and do everything they can to help me when needed and have always made me feel that they care about my experience here. This is my Home!

The view from the apartments is amazing. Its close to downtown Austin within 15 minutes. There are also nice hiking trails around the area to enjoy the natural beauty.
This is a nice community, in a great part of south Austin. The area has grown quite a bit in the last 10 years, there’s more and more to do. Maintenance is great, especially JR & Mark.
The community is great - everyone is friendly and there is a real sense of neighborhood. The location is fantastic - it's close to everything I need, including grocery stores, restaurants, and transportation. The view from my apartment is also amazing - I have a clear view of the city skyline and it's beautiful at night. Overall, I am extremely happy with my decision to move into this apartment complex and would highly recommend it to others.
