Property Ratings at Las Casas Apartments
Apartment is in a very unsafe area. Theft and crime are a common occurrence as police cars were constantly present during my time here. There is absolutely zero guest parking and no street parking either.
I moved into this complex because of the manager, Terry. She was amazing and maintained a very clean and quiet community. I was devastated when she retired. Since her retirement, but especially over the course of the last year, it has become more and more difficult to live here. Management has not maintained the cleaning schedule as with previous management- maintenance used to hose down the walkway since a week. It has happened twice in a year. People weren’t allowed to keep things outside of their apartments (the ones without patios) and now you find trash, boxes, and shoes EVERYWHERE. Newer residents are noisy, rude, and/or don’t pick up after themselves. Not to mention that one of the walkways has been closed for “repairs” since February 2022- ITS SEPTEMBER! Causing inconvenience for all residents who live upstairs when carrying groceries or anything heavier than a purse. Not to mention the countless packages and food orders that have been left at the wrong location because of the blocked off walkway. Not to mention the crime rate has escalated and the city does not seem too pressed to enforce curfews/fines. Overall, it’s okay. For the price? Shop around.
* The first thing which will impress you is the cleanliness maintained both inside and outside. * Natural light is ample which enters in all rooms, therefore you always feel a positive vibe and will keep your utility bills always minimum. * Natural Air flowing in therefore no need to switch on AC or Fan all the time. * Stove and Heater is on gas which will save tons of your utility bills. * You just need to pay Gas and Electricity as Utility which has never gone above $30. * Never seen any pets around. * Very need to 55 freeway therefore connectivity is advantage but noise of highway cars and planes might bother but not when you are inside the apartment. Visitor parking is hard is find. * Washing and Drying just $1/each. * Lease term minimum 6 months. * Gym, Sauna, Barbecue and Sparkling Pool * Grocery, daily need shops and public Transport very near by * Those who want to live simple, quite life and save $150-200/month; this is the apartment that you want to go for.
Truly charming apartments. Privately owned gated community. I have lived here since 2008. Well maintained and clean. No gym membership needed living here since its remodel. Beautiful pool with two gas grills close by. Two laundry rooms centrally located. Oh and a sauna! There's a leasing office on-site and the team will see to all your needs. Great place for singles and small families. Very peaceful at night. You can hear the crickets. I highly recommend giving this place a chance. Come find su casa!
I have lived at Las Casas for the past year and it has been a great experience. Terry the manager is absolutely amazing and always super helpful. All the staff around the complex are very friendly and always willing to accomodate your needs. I was in a studio which was quite spacious for one person and had everything I needed for my first apartment in the area. The only reason I am moving next month is to be closer to the beach and moving in with a friend. I would recommend this place to anyone as I had a very pleasant year here.
