To start my car got broken into literally yesterday, they never answer the phone and they are disorganized. There is a few or slim good things but most of it is bad.
Quiet neighbors, helpful maintenance, and nightly trash pickup are all great features of this community. The laundry concierge is also a nice touch. The staff does a good job of communicating updates via email. The gated community is a great security feature, although it is sometimes not functional. It is unfortunate that you have to pay for a package locker box monthly even if you never use it. It is also frustrating that you often get opted into paid services that you have to call and opt out of to avoid additional fees, such as credit reporting for rent. The water is often shut off temporarily for building maintenance repairs, which can be inconvenient. The buildings are old but they are trying to renovate. The electric bills can be insane due to lack of insulation and high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows. The air conditioners often can't handle the summer temperatures.

From the application process to approval, then move in, and now as a resident, Jose along with all the office staff of the Las Colinas Heights team were very helpful, efficient, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure my entire moving process went smoothly and efficiently. Horrible experience here. Don’t move to this complex. Area is dirty. Apartments have pests. Leasing office can be so rude. Work orders are never taken care of. 0/10 would recommend.

Our experience here has been good so far. The move in process was a nightmare because of various miscommunications throughout the entire process. Also the laundry mats are not working correctly and we had to dry our clothes with a hairdryer. We are enjoying the gym and pool facilities and love our unit.

For the most part, I have loved this place! The water shutoffs are a pain, and the front gate not working sometimes is inconvenient. The office staff is amazing, maintenance is pretty awesome.

It’s been really nice moving in! I like how close the pool is and how nice the amenities are. The only thing is I wish more residents would pick up their dog poop when walking, especially since there are so many doggie trash and bag stands!

There is a trash problem here. The puck up service has been spotty. Some nights it is picked up, others it is not. The dog waste cans are overflowing and there is trash on the ground everywhere. There is not enough lighting at night. I feel unsafe in areas because there is no light. The porch lights go off too early and I have to struggle in the dark. I have also had 2 maintenance issue go unresolved. The electrical outlets in my bathroom do not work. 2 separate visits and no resolution. I am unable to use my bathroom in the mornings and have to sit on the floor to get ready for work or charge my toothbrush in another room. The windows in my bedroom rattle terribly. 3 maintenance requests and they have not been fixed. That one should be simple, just seal the windows.

When coming for a tour please make sure you get specifics about the unit like if they come with washer and dryer connections. You don’t want to bring one with you knowing you can’t even use it! Other than that my experience was good!

They called me the afternoon before my move to say that the unit wasn't ready. And there were actually no washer and dryer connections as promised. This was literally my only ask when viewing the property. I signed this lease a month ago and they chose to call me at the very last minute before my move? I'm left scrambling to find something else or accept another unit that is over 300 more per month. They act like this was a situation I caused. The only plus side this property has is Heather. She was so nice, especially compared to the rest of the office and Corporate. Don't waste your time applying. I should have heeded the warnings in the other reviews.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! When I first moved into Las Colinas Heights, I was enticed by the great price complimented with the large floor plans. However upon move in, our unit hadn't even been cleaned. We had issues with multiple things including the AC not blowing cold air, leaks in the roof, mold in the kitchen cabinets, paint peeling in the tubs, nails being found lodged in the carpet. And these are just the ones off the top of my head! Maintenance takes their time to deal with anything so don't expect them to rush to fix any issues. Amenities only worked half the time I was a resident here. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere

We have lived here for almost 8 years, and it was FABULOUS when we moved in..however, several different property mgmt have taken over at one point or another and service and the property itself has gone so far down. Roads are awful, gates have not worked in YEARS, they do not answer the phones in the office, and changes come without notification to residents-- it's really sad to see where it has gone to. Spent the summers with no pools.....no one cared, it was more important to get those security cameras up and running...smh Residents are not their main concern.

Each management company is more disorganized than the last. They gave away the parking spot I paid for for 9 years and the resident that took it wont give it back. Management was incredibly rude in handling this major mistake on their part and told me they aren't bound by doing the right thing, only by their incomplete records. I've been nothing but a model tenant, I pay on time, I never complain, people don't complain about me, I keep to myself. I will not be renewing my lease for a 10th year. In addition: he pool is always closed, the gate is always broken, every now and then maintenance puts their key in my door and walks in unannounced on "accident" but they cant manage to show up when they're supposed to. the last management company towed my car out of my spot after I registered my car with them. To anyone looking for a nice apartment with nice amenities, this isn't it.

This place is horrible! Repair orders are not resolved unless you, the tenant, make the repairs yourself. This place has high fees, high crime, and horrible service, to name a few.

If you are planning to lease here, be ready to pay extra almost $250 on top your rent. For one bill I see 2 water bill and separate service charges and again service charges.

I hate to write this but our one year at this property was the worst year. The office staff is unfriendly, ill-informed, inconsistent, and unprofessional. Every time we went into the office, there seemed to be new staff which led to us always being given different answers and information. Nobody seemed to be on the same page. Perhaps the training they were being given was insufficient? It states it is a “gated community “ which was one of the reasons we chose the property. Well the gate was/is broken for the entire year and we learned via other residents it has been broken for over 3 years. We were told when we moved in in April 2022 they were “waiting for parts”. We were lied to constantly by the staff. My husbands catalytic converter was stolen from the parking lot and the staff seemed to not care at all. My car was wrongfully towed from the parking lot, they said they would contact the manager and see if I could be compensated. I never heard from them and was out $250. How does that make sense? The pools were out of commission most of the summer and when it was open, people who did not live there used the pool and basically took it over so residents couldn't use it. People have dogs and wouldn't pick up after them. Dog poop everyone. Property sent out a notice saying they would fine people if they were reported. We reported it multiple times and nothing seemed to be done. Dogs off leash, nearly attacked my dog on a couple of occasions. Again, the office seemed indifferent and unconcerned. During the freeze in December of 2022, our heater was not working. I called the emergency line to which they said "they'd be right there". They never showed up. To top it off, at the end of our lease, they attempted to make us pay for a 60 day move out instead of 30. They didn't even know their own contract. Told us to contact the regional, we never heard back. Called corporate repeatedly, to no avail. What a shame. Property is in a great location and the size of the apartments are spacious but the management needs some serious improvements. When we were moving out in April 2023, a new management company was taken over and the couple people we spoke with, seemed much nicer so I hope things turn around.

The leasing office does not answer phone calls, my move in date was on a Sunday, in which they told me to pick up the key. I sat in 100 degree weather for 4 hours waiting for someone until I just went home because that's just aggravating. I spent a month driving back and forth just to SPEAK to someone since they don't reply to email either. I finally received the key to find out that there's already a roach living there, doors are broken and just laying on the walls, rust under the sink and flooring, washer/dryer connection was promised but was not there. Was told it would look just like their model home exception of upgraded appliances etc which was fine by me but there was no ceiling lamp/fan which the model home had obviously. Do not use their photos on apartments.com as they are NOTHING like that. I am currently trying to get out of my lease since everything I was told was a complete lie.
