Property Ratings at Las Lomas
We were shown an apartment that was absolutely filthy... The floor was greasy and dirty, The bedroom carpets felt greasy under our feet as well, Multiple broken blinds, The back door didn't open, The kitchen was atrocious countertops pulling away from the walls grease on the walls and cockroaches dead and alive... While in the office there were several tenants with what appeared to be repeat. Requests and complaints just based on what we were hearing... I can't believe anyone would have shown an apartment in that condition, Insane... Don't let the price or the move in special fool you...
They gave me an infested apartment with leaks, no water pressure, no hot water if there is pressure, food left over from previous tenants, and no fridge for two weeks(main infestation). Veronica said I was getting a “renovated” apartment, yet I’ve been at the office every day for new problems and I feel bad for the people I see inside the office in search of a new home. I’ve only been here two weeks and it’s terrible.
Every day they turn off the water without warning! Either you have cold water and no hot water, or no water whatsoever. Management doesn't have maintenence doing work orders and will completely ignore you, they only care about moving new people in just so they can move right back out. WAY OVER PRICED!!! Ac units are outdated! Heater never works due to the hot water never working, DO NOT RENT HERE! Every year the price goes up but for what!? Payments always seem to go missing so make sure you keep copies of receipts!!!
Do. Not. Move. Here. I have lived here almost 3 years and it’s changed owners 3 times, rent has increased twice. There are constant problems with the water. We haven’t had hot water since July, and it’s now November. They never answer the phones in the office, and the owners live out of state. When I asked if we’d be getting any breaks on our rent for the months long problem of cold water only, I was told the owners refused to reimburse us for rent or water. Awful place, no matter how nice they look don’t get caught up with this place.
No Hot Water Swamp Coolers that DONT WORK They don't answer the phone Or open the door
I would give 0 stars if I could. The managers are terrible as well as maintenance. Nothing is fixed and when you try calling it’s near impossible to get ahold of anyone. We have had a hole in our ceiling for the 2 years we’ve lived here from a leak that happened from upstairs. They never came to fix ANOTHER leak after calling multiple times which we just discovered caused BLACK MOLD to seep into our closet. We have been feeling sick for a while and this just confirmed the reason! There is so many more things wrong with this place. We have not had heat for the 2 years as well. The water is brown and scolding hot. I won’t even cook with it. This place needs to be inspected cause something is going on here.
Do not rent here!! The worst place ever AC never works management is the worst. I feel like my money is wasted every month. ATheC but half the apartment the plugs don’t work and when you call to notify it’s always some excuse but never an excuse to Charge my account. I wish I would of read the reviews, first thankfully I only have a couple months left on the lease.
Something breaks it won’t be fixed No parking unless you wanna be towed for parking on reserved They lie to charge you extra fees. Please do not rent here it’s just the worst. I see more People leaving then moving in. I only lived here 3 months and I left.
These apartments are terrible, the pictures show that the apt’s are remodeled which is a lie. They look nice and once you settle in everything starts falling apart. The laundry machines never work, they steal your clothes and when you ask office to look at footage on the laundry camera the don’t have it simply because it’s just for show. When you call maintenance for something broken in your apt they take up to two weeks for it to be fixed. Rude staff, when you have a problem about dog poop all over your property nothing is done. Worst place to live in. Don’t do it!!
Since New Management has taken over a few years ago, the property has significantly showed improvements. The property is well kept and clean. As far as the floor plans I personally like the accent walls, the abundance of cabinet space in the kitchen, the partial vinyl flooring instead of it being all carpet (easy to clean), and finally ceiling fans because in EP it's hot and the extra amenity helps. Overall, its a great location and I really love that it has a pool and playground for my little girl. As far as negative points, there's none that are within management or the maintenance's control. It's apartment living and for the most part if you have lived in varies communities you would understand the norm of neighbors, work orders, and etc.
Don't let the pics fool you! There are no wood floors, just nasty old linoleum. No pretty paint, just layers and layers of tacky white paint. Even the countertops are painted and peeling. Cabinets are gross, too. Poor management! The manager is awful, a true witch. The other two ladies are kind hearted and willing to help, though. This place is in a bad neighborhood and it's unsafe. They have "security" patrolling SOMETIMES. Lots of theft and several break ins. I could write a whole book about how this place made my family and I so miserable. This place should be a last resort!!!
Lived here a 1 1/2 and needs to be upgraded. We live in 105 degree city with swamp coolers, which doesn't cool nothing. Floors tile glue is melting and carpets are old.
