Bordered by the Rio Grande and the Mexican border, Mission is one of four towns that make up the border county of Hildago. Considered one of the nation's fastest-growing cities, Mission is a major citrus producer -- it is even nicknamed the "Home of the Ruby Red Grapefruit." It is also home to the Texas Citrus Exchange and the Texas Citrus Fiesta Parade.
Mission provides some fantastic parks. Anzalduas Park, located along a bend in the Rio Grande, covers 96 acres and is a bird sanctuary. It also features a playground and picnic areas. With Mexico just four miles away, residents can cross into the country via the Anzalduas International Bridge to visit the city of Reynosa. Other destinations in Mission include the World Birding Center, the National Butterfly Center, the Mission Historical Museum, Shary Municipal Golf Course, and Mountain Bike Park.

Property Ratings at Las Misiones
Bad administration! ! The entire complex of apartments is in very bad condition Outside, the garden is lousy maintenance, the alkynes go out to walk their dogs and do not pick up the waste there is everywhere ?? The pool is never maintained. The water is green. The barbecue areas. The full garbage has been around for more than a month now, and I have photos of all this. and old things .. waiting for my contract to end I want to go now .. There is no one to talk to and they pay attention to this property ..
After submitting our complaint(s) to the City of Mission and HUD.Gov, we immediately got hit with false accusations. As a Safety inspector I suggest going somewhere else! Don’t be fooled!!! This place already got hit by several violation(s) and are now moving fast to cover their tracks I hope you find a place you can call home!
The leasing agents Aimee and tommy are the worst customer service agents you can ever imagine, and they’re a couple... just FYI, family and business don’t mix. But that’s none of my business, zipping my tea ??. They will mislead you. They expressed how nice it is and how the contract would be. Later on we found out that the apartment had mold. They basically covered it up with paint. All the stairs are rotten, and the structure of it breaking off at the base of the strairs. Which later on, if someone is walking underneath or above would eventually collapse. We’ve had multiple issue I couldn’t even phantom to type in. Our dishwasher just falls forward when sliding the tray back and forward. Clogged showers and sinks. The cabinets are out of alignment. The washer and dryer connections were screwed up when I had Home Depot come install them. Oh there’s EXTRA fees they like to add too, and they’ll threating you if you don’t pay, and that they would send it to collections. I guess that’s why people never stay. There’s never parking either, i’ve reported it and Aimee stated, we can’t tow anyone away lol. Soo why do you have a tow-away sign for violators and parking permits? Just dumb, idk how she still works here. Wow! Anyways people who don’t live here or have a parking permit, don’t get towed. So reporting about it is a BRIDGE to NOwhere. They pay a police officer to monitor the area, but I guess they’re too busy milking it and getting a discount. Idk maybe they’re having an affair with the officer. We usually have to park about 300-400 ft away from our apartment. If you asked me, I would look somewhere else, the people in the front don’t care much about the people who reside in the complex. They had 2 maintenance guys quit, cause they never paid them. I know, both of them showed me they’re emails and text messages why they never got paid. But yeah, more and more people are leaving. The structure of the buildings isn’t sound either. I wouldn’t be surprised if code enforcement inspects the area soon. They’re leaks in the roofs, and only one window to vent air. I had random people come in without notice. So I installled a camera, even thou we are moving and breaking contract. Which I would rather do then stay in a mold area with roaches coming out of the apartment... no thank you. So if you don’t want to save money and you want to cancel early, and have to pay extra fees and cancellation fees... come HERE! You’ll sure regret it :)
I am pleased to call Las Misiones my home. The complex is clean, quiet and family friendly. The property changed management companies and they have upgrading the apartments since. There was some issues with the parking, so management change the rules and now every residents need to have a permit to park inside the complex and the visitors need to park outside or else they'll be towed. The property manager Aimee is beyond amazing!! She is very helpful, caring and compassionate. I've had some issues but she has responded and resolved them in a timely manner. The apartments are very attractive and have the best prices in the area. I've lived here for almost a year and I absolutley love my apartment!
Nice apartments don't rent the first floor , it's real noise . Like the privacy good parking lot
