Property Ratings at Las Serenas Senior Apartments (62+)
We moved my mother here in beginning of 2023. My review is solely on Managment and our experience with them from move-in till move-out mid last month. From what we’ve heard before, since the new manager took over two years ago, it hasn’t been the same but regardless we still went through with the process of moving my mother since it’s considered affordable housing. Through the year of my mother living there, we always had issues contacting with the manager as her office was often closed & she never returned calls. Her approach towards seniors who had questions or concerns was never friendly. Always gave a short answer and even didn’t feel approachable to her. The maintenance guy was the same and never kind enough to have a helping hand even though he lives on premise. During the process of moving my mother out, the experience was handled terribly, the manager was “out of office” so she was not there during the procedures and anyone we spoke to never gave us answers or clarification because she wasn’t there. There needs to be a better process for seniors to move out from this apartment and need to improve their communication! We share this experience to bring awareness for others that might be potential resident.
