Property Ratings at Latitude 27
Property has a good location, but was dirty when I moved in. There was still clothes in the washer and sand all over, the floors were fitly. The grounds are kept nice and clean, but their trash service sucks. The company contracts a company to provide you a Valet trash pickup service, but when they don't pick up your trash and it happens over and over, they still charge you for it and they want you to call the vendor they selected to complain. It doesn't make sense, so I reported it to Emilie and she started screaming at me that I have to call the company, no customer service whatsoever. Pool looks nice, nice chairs, but it's cleaned only once a week, so the tiles around are so dirty that I reported it, but nothing was done about it. So, good location, but other things are not so great.
longitude 82 is a beautiful community. very respectful staff, helpful as well. my boyfriend and i are so incredibly happy with our decision to make longitude our new starter home!

This is a peaceful community. It is located to every need, hospital, restaurants, grocery, beaches, highway 75 access, parks & recreation! We have our own pond that attracts many birds & turtles, you can view the sunrise & sunset from either side of Longitude 82
We are repeat renters at Longitude and are always welcomed with professional and friendly staff. This will always be our first choice when looking to rent in the area. It is a beautiful complex with wonderful amenities and close to everything we need.

Moving into my first apartment in my 40’s had me a bit nervous after being a homeowner for the majority of my adult life. The women in the office are very unhelpful and unresponsive I have been trying to reach Jennifer in the office for over a month now with calls and emails with no response I am owed closing costs and they are threatening to send me to collections for renter insurance that is due for a month that I was not at the residency I will be seeking legal assistance if this issue isn’t resolved
Great place to live. Peaceful and quiet. Great variety of people groups from single, to couples, to families. Extremely convenient location.

Dont rent here! Owner(s) are greedy and cheap. Appliances are outdated. They charge you $1000 to transfer into a bigger apartment and extend your lease. Then they nickel and dime you on your move out saying the carpet needs to be replaced. IT WASNT NEW WHEN I MOVED IN AND I WAS THERE ALMOST 2 years.
The staff is very friendly and maintenance is well run efficiently.

Longitude 82 is a dream come true! Luxury living for a realistic price, which is challenging to find in Sarasota! Location is perfect, near *everything* and only 25-30 min away from your favorite places in any which direction, including Venice, Bradenton, and even shorter time to downtown SRQ, Siesta, Lido, St. Armand's. The staff are lovely! So polite, friendly, always cheerful. There hasn't been a single thing I needed or a single time I talked to them that they weren't 100% empathetic and ready to help! Why are you still reading this?? GO APPLY!!! :) :)

The maintenance staff is excellent and most professional.
This place is not how it seems. It's noisy as the walls are thin. They say one thing and then it isn't true. It has no place dor kids. It was miserable with kids. Crazy rules about things which they said to is the exact opposite when walking around. So watch out you can't trust their word. They also have a crazy move out policy. We heard from others about this. We went above and beyond with painting and rescreening. The apartment looked like we got it. Then they pull up the carpets and expect it perfect underneath even if it's great on top and then they bill you for the dust that this process creates. They said because we signed in the beginning that it was ok that it shows the stains were ours but when we started we did not pull up the carpets. Take pictures here. Pull up the carpets before you move in and take pictures before you start and at the end. Walk around with them both times. Beware of this place.

I just recently tried to rent from this place, I was doing a subleasing agreement. I was denied and not given an explanation as to why I was denied, thru out the entire process they were rude and impossible to contact. I left numerous voicemails, I sent emails to which they only replied when they felt like it. They gave no assistance in the application process, getting information from them was like pulling teeth, it took 3 weeks to finally get the application filed. They said they sent out an email to all parties on the application explaining why we were denied along with a number to contact for more question and concerns about the denial, we never received such an email, when I replied to that message via email they stopped responding again. Aside from that it’s impossible the credit was denied it is near perfect credit and we make 7 times the required amount for consideration. I am extremely upset in all my experiences with rental companies in the past they are professional and willing to assist and help in anyway possible. Not these guys. When I first gave them the app they said they have seen people with bad credit get approved they just needed an bigger deposit, if that was so why were we not given the same options I’m starting to think this has something To do with race. Not once did they say let’s see what else we can do to help you get into the apartment like I said no courtesy was given to us, as I said before it was impossible to get ahold of these people for even a second to talk and build some kind of rapport to feel as though we would get help with this process one of the worst experiences I have ever had. And to top it allll off the $200 fee we paid for the background and credit checks which they said was REFUNDABLE if we don’t get approved, they are now saying that they can’t do anything to give us that money back we need to call the lady we were subleasing with to see if she will give us back the money! How does that make any sense we didn’t pay her we paid longitude 82!

Great location,, unfortunately that’s the only positive, management and front office staff incredibly rude. Construction was extremely poor, you can sit in your apartment and listen to your neighbors conversations, and toilets flushing .dogs tails waging on the floor above . Front gate was broke 2 months before we moved and I’m sure it’s still broke. New mgt can’t seem to get there records or the computer system together. Radon gas testing, they brush it off like it’s an everyday thing , in and out of the apartments all the time trying to fix the problem. Moving out they charge you for everything even when it’s clean , considering all of the new apartment buildings going up I’m sure they need the money more, .there are better options out there look around these are cheaply built

Lived here for 3 years. Never had a problem until the new management took over. They took forever to get their online payment up and running, and once it was it didn’t work correctly. You go to pay your rent, and no one is in the office. Therefore you have to pay via money order AND pay outrageous late fees even though it was their fault you were late! Never in 2 years did I have an issue with late payment until they took over. And the staff is completely rude and could care less. The most recent laugh - they sent out a letter telling all residents they will be fined if things like kids toys or a bike are left out on the balcony WE pay for! Are you joking?! I had planned to upgrade to a 3 bdrm but based on the new mngmt, no thanks. I’ll take my money somewhere else.
From the moment I first walked into Springs at Bee Ridge I knew it was the place for me. The front office is warm and welcoming! I was warmly greeted by my soon to be leasing agent Brian, he instantly made me feel like I fit and belong here. He gave me a great tour and showed me around the entire community including the dog park and pet bathing area, because I told him I have a small dog. He showed me their model apartment and proceeded to show me multiple other apartments until I found the perfect studio, at first when he said asked me if I might be interested in a studio I was worried it would be too small but it is incredible spacious and the layout is perfect and it has a washer and drier! Brian kept in constant communication with me throughout my process and welcomed me home with a personalized letter and gifts (even treats for my dog!) I have been able to explore the community even more and it keeps exceeding my expectations.
I wanted some information as I am looking around at a variety of locations/apartments. They refused to give me any information at all. They took me into a small office and tried to bully me into committing to a move in date-without ever letting me see a model or quoting me any prices at all. I asked several times for a ball park rental fee and the sales staff kept repeating, "I can't tell you that, our prices change daily". Who in their right mind would commit to renting an apartment without knowing the cost or seeing the apartment?? They kept asking me how much I wanted to pay. Shifty if you ask me. Furthermore, when they finally agreed to let me look at a model, they would not allow my 14 year old daughter come with me because only people with a driver's licence are able to view the model. Apparently they hold your license hostage while you view the model, ostensibly for the safety of the salesperson, yet they expected me to leave my 14 year old daughter alone in the sales office, like that is safe. Absolutely ludicrous. Avoid this place like the plague. Can you imagine if they are this shady and obnoxious to prospective customers how they would treat you one they've got you locked into a contract?
I applied to live at this apartment complex. The people in the front office were very nice, until my application was denied and I wanted my $299 refunded, per their own contract. I applied at 4 other places and was approved instantly, the same day, by all 4. It became obvious that they run off commission when I called to get my $299 refunded. The conversations with that friendly front desk staff were combative and it took them over a week to admit that they owe me the $299. Now, after I escalated the matter and spoke to my attorney, I have to wait an additional 2 weeks to get the refund in a paper check form.( I paid by credit card). It's simple, their contract calls for refund of the $299 that I paid if I was denied a lease. I received an email from them that I was denied the lease. They owe me the refund. Usually, in situations like this, the commission part of sales gets the best of people. It may be time to move away from commission and to pay people a flat salary. This way, the customer service won't be at risk.
