Property Ratings at Laurel Grove Apartment Homes
Leasing office always Locked even during Business hours, Sent multiple emails for everything from Maintenance Issues, to Renewing Lease and they either NEVER reply back or it takes them a month to respond. They NEVER answer the phones either. Maintenance is a joke, Serious Maintenance Issues and it takes them MONTHS to fix/Respond. Maintenance is Famous for just closing out your ticket saying "Work Completed" when it wasn't! Amenities you ask? WHAT Amenities. Pools been closed since the Pandemic yet we're no longer in a Pandemic not to mention the water has been green the entire time I've lived here, like seriously HEALTH ISSUES! There's no workout room either or it's closed/locked up! You pay $5 a month for "PEST" control yet we still get Cockroaches and other crawlies inside the Apartments and I am a CLEAN freak. I've not once seen any Pest Control people spraying the premises! Just another BS excuse to get money out of you! They raised my rent a ridiculous amount and I'm not even living in one of their renovated Apartments. I'm living in the 1980's version (You should see the Bathrooms) :( The only reason I am giving them a 1 Star is because it's Quiet here, Neighbors are nice and that's it! There are much better places and cheaper than this Place. I will be looking soon when my lease is up for another place.

First off When I first moved in, The place was not even ready to be moved in to. They rushed everything to get done on the day i was supposed to move in and never even finished. I had to clean everything up and fix several things around the apartments. The things I could not fix I had put a ticket into for maintenance to fix. This is where the main problem comes from. You get 0 responses from management or maintenance. Every time I walked into the office the main woman that works there was always very rude to me so I stopped walking in. The way you are suppose to get things done in the apartment is by going onto their website and adding Maintenance requests. We have over 10 problems wrong with our apartment such as lights being broken in the sockets and rusty areas in the house and holes in the ceiling. I also have pictures that I add to them as well. They never came to fix or even look at them. They just simply mark them as complete a couple of weeks later even though they did nothing to fix it. I do not know about it now but when I first moved in a couple of years ago they would close randomly during the day which was very inconvenient when you only have a certain amount of time during the day. They do have amenities as well. Those amenities such as the pool and gym were closed. They were not open for the first year that I had moved in. The pool was locked and not taken care of. There was green slime on top of the water. If you don't mind fixing everything yourself and do not expect help this might be an okay place to live. But do not expect any response or help from anyone from the management or maintenance team.
Office HARASSES you. Almost seems directed as I have gotten notes about belongings on MY balcony and tow stickers on my vehicles that are up to date and not in anyone's way. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT PEACE.
Just recently moved in to Bluffhouse. They apartments are great, especially the remodeled ones. Can’t hear neighbors, no loud noises. Friendly people walk around, kids ride their bikes around outside almost all day. It feels like a nice/friendly community.
I love my apartment, it's very comfortable and I have a lot of closet space in my apartment. The complex is starting to look better and cleaner. My maintenance work request are getting done, I especially like that the maintenance man is honest and when he says the part will be ordered, it really does now. This place use to be a mess, now with a little patience, stuff gets done. The new office ladies are very nice and helpful. Granted the apartments need work but for what the rent are I can deal with it for a few years.

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us at Bluff House. We're happy we could meet your expectations and glad you call us home! We are always more than happy to assist you if anything else comes up. Take care.
This place is aweful. Do not let the model online fool you. They lie and do not want to fix anything. I am talking about the stingy management company over these ragedy apartments. I moved in with so many broken items that was promised to me to be fixed and never was done. The amount that they charge for the rent is ridiculous and this is how they treat their tenants. It took one month for me to get a new ac unit because the big wigs had to approve something so needed. This is the worst place that I have ever lived. I have never stayed anywhere 1 year but i am leaving here because of the way I was treated by everyone including the management company over these apartments. Please go stay elsewhere. DO NOT MOVE OUT HERE!!!! AWEFUL! AWEFUL! AWEFUL!

Hi there, I would like to get some more details about your experience with us. We take every review very seriously here at the corporate office and never enjoy seeing one like this. reputation@psdm.com Thank you.
This is the worst experience I’ve had with a leasing office. The staff (Vivian and sandy) are EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional, not to mention unorganized. They wanted to act like they’re doing me a favor by trying to fix something they messed up. Vivian is extremely rude and the way she talks to future residents is disgusting. I was told verbatim “if you complain about every little thing I’m going to terminate your lease”. NOTHING LIKE THREATING someone who’s trying to move into your complex. She also told me not to expect everything to be new. If I could give this a 0 star I would. They lie and fabricate stuff so they look better. Sandy showed me the apartment and did not say one word to me unless I asked her a question and it was with attitude. I HOPE THIS CAN SAVE SOMEONE THE STRIFE I WENT THROUGH.

Hi Dakota, We take all reviews very seriously and would like to speak with you directly. It is never acceptable for our staff to be rude and apologize you felt they were. We would like a chance to make your experience with us a much better one! If you will email me directly at reputation@psdm.com we can discuss your review and any concerns you might have. Thank you and have a great day
My husband and i are newlyweds and needed a cheap place to live. We are severly regretting that decision! The apartments are crappy and when somthing breaks it takes four weeks to get it fixed. We were with out A/C for 6 weeks and i cant to more then one thing with out the main breaker flipping! You cant have to many light on or all the power shuts of and dont even think about doing laundry it over loads the breakers as well! DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!
Worse place ever it looks like a garbage dump storm debree all over the place garbage overflowing bugs near the garbage dumps which must be 50 years old. The staff in the office lie lie about cleaning up this place. But they will raise the rent. Save your money and move somewhere nice. NOT HERE.
DO NOT MOVE IN HERE! Not unless you never want to have a/c or maintenance. The lady who runs the office (not allowed to give out names) is a liar and a very good one. And I know corporate knows about her so obviously they are okay with it. All the a/c units are old and leak. The maintenance guy told me today that 90% of them leak, ours included. I've been arguing with her for years. She acts like I'm crazy and says nothing is wrong with them. She lies and and is super shady. She acts clueless to the situation every time I complain to her about it and will give you every excuse under the sun. When you call corporate they say they will handle it and give you a "new" unit. They don't. It's not a new unit, it's old. Our electric bill is $150 for a two bedroom apartment and we're never home. We lived here so long cause the rent was cheaper than most apartments but with the electric bill, its not. Please don't make the same mistake we did.

Hello, thank you for leaving us feedback. We are disappointed to hear that your experience has not a positive one. We would like the opportunity to address your concerns, and would be happy to look into the AC unit issue. Please reach out to us with a private message when you have a chance so we can gather additional information. We look forward to hearing from you
this place looked great but then when you move in different story. the linoleum in bathrooms and kitchen are peeling up badly (from day 1), carpet is pulling off stairs, they used cheap latex paint so it's peeling off doors and bathtub. I've seen a few huge roaches. we can never get in contact with the office over the phone and don't even bother emailing, they will not respond. just horrible.
The staff has always been nice and very helpful, they have gone out of their way to help us move in fast and resolve any issues we have had. Lanore and Terra do all that they can to take care of us. They are older buildings and for what you pay you don't expect brand new appliances and remodeled everything but it still feels cozy and comfortable. A lot of space, nice lay out, new carpet, nice fire place, big rooms. Storage space is good. Three porches is nice. The pool is cleaned once a week, more than other places iv seen. The gym could use some new equipment but maybe that will come after the new roof for the front section. Electricity is affordable and neighbors are cool. Overall I love it here and this is a great place to live.
I've not only came once but twice to come check this place out. It looks so nice, however two yrs ago when I came to check out the place I was told the rent was $80 more per month then what was stated on there website, I chalked it up to error, however NOPE when about two weeks ago and got told the same thing I even screen shot the websites price and when I showed then they started fumbling their words. SCAMMING people!!
I have lived here for almost four months now and already have had several problems with maitenance and the office. The first month I lived here, we had to turn our rent into the office because we could not pay online yet, and about halfway through the month we got an eviction notice. After we brought our copy of the cashiers check to the office, and let them know we had already paid to get the keys for our place, and all they said was "you good." Then we tried to pay our rent online the second month, and we had a $100.00 late fee from when they forgot to send our cashiers check the first month! So we had to pay with another cashiers check. Then in the third month, we got another eviction notice, and after we showed them again that we paid, and that the check was reconsiled, they told us again "you good." Maitenance has never came over to our place to fix issues we have had since we moved in, with the washer and dyer connections, light fixtures not working, and outlits not working as well. Over all this place is nothing more than a bunch of lazy people who sit on their butt all day and try to make you pay your rent twice every month. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
This complex would be great to live if they fix things in a reasonably time frame. Iike the complex other than that fixing things.
I am happy with Bluffhouse Townhomes accept for the slow maitenance. I have been waiting for almost 2 months for some small repairs in my apartment. All they tell me in the front office is that they are still waiting on parts.
I have been here too long. Once it was a beautiful place! It is a shame to see it the way it is now. It will not get any better and it makes me sad. If you want to live in a place with 70s décor and a landscape that will soon be like a land field and lied too all the time...this is the place for you. It is dark! There is no upgrades! The Maintenance cannot do anything to really help because the owner does not want to spend any money. The biggest issue...is all the lies you will hear! Take your hard working money and use for somewhere else, where they really care about the residence's!
This has got to be the worst place to live and have to pay rent for this dump. Let me explain if you read the reviews as I did you will not come here but I ask them about all the negative comments an was told that was from people that was mad at them about something, well I join that group of people I literally hate it here, they don't repair, anything dishwasher leaks really bad, ice maker never worker, screen in front window is sticking out all outside bugs would come in if I opened the window. Just look me up on facebook I'm posting the pictures every couple of weeks until I leave. Don't believe a word they say including the manager they lie, lie, lie with a smile on there face. Don't be fooled like I was will keep post. only gave them a star because I had to want let use continue if you dont
