Property Ratings at Laurel Hill Apartments
I've lived in this complex for the last 2 years while finishing my graduate degree. My roommate and I toured and researched dozens of apartments in the surrounding areas prior to selecting Laurel Hill. Overall, this is a great complex if you're looking for a decent apartment with 2 FULL bathrooms and a washer/dryer in unit for a very reasonable price. This isn't a luxury unit by any means, but the carpet is either new or thoroughly cleaned upon move-in, the entire unit gets cleaned and any updates made prior to you moving in, the closet space is wonderful, and the kitchen is spacious with functioning appliances and nice-looking countertops. We live in a two bedroom and the second bedroom is significantly smaller, but the closet space is fairly equal in both rooms (wall to wall). The apartment is huge otherwise, and our living/dining area is enormous. As many have mentioned, the biggest downside about these apartments is the thin walls. We live on the top floor, but you really can hear everything going on below and next to you sometimes. I wouldn't say it's so bad you hear even footsteps, but if the TV is on too loud or anyone is rough-housing, you hear it all. Overall we've managed fine with the occasional noise, but it's defiantly not the quietest apartment depending on your neighbors and where in the building you are. Maintenence is great and anytime we had issues someone was out either within the HOUR or the following morning if we sent an email after 5 PM. Very approachable and kind when you see them about the complex! Grocery store down the road is also super convenient, and it's a pretty nice complex with trees and nice landscaping despite being just off a major road.
My husband & I have lived here for a few months now and haven’t had any issues. We appreciate most utilities being covered, the washer & dryer and the friendly neighbors. We live between two apartments which can be a bit noisy between TVs, walking and loud conversations but can usually drown out the sound.
Nice place with new carpets clean walls new showers big ! Closets in a great community close to everything it’s around big trees so feels like you living in a park fresh air great community very quiet and on top of the cake the Maintenance is always helpful with a smile on there face 24/7 I’m renting Long time but this place is finally my home ??
It is a quiet, very clean place and the apartments are completely remodeled with everything new, the administration is really friendly. All almost perfect except by some neighbors who dont want to hear even your breathing. I moved on July 1st and on the same day, my neighbor (picky woman) upstairs knocking on my door to ask to turn down the volume on the TV, which by the way is in the living room. so if you are one of those who dont like to listen to the sound of the wind, better move to a house where you have no one next to you, otherwise you should get used to it because living in an apartment means listening to almost everything your neighbors do. It is still a magnificent place, some problems to park and annoying neighbors like mine (rude) that I cant even see the news because immediately comes down to knock on my door. I hope she get kicked out soon. the rest of the community is magnificent.
When I first moved in in 2015, I loved that the complex was quiet, and the apartment was reasonably priced for the amenities included. The maintenance team is nice and they mean well. They’re great when little things go wrong, like the dishwasher that we have never used flooding the kitchen. However, the management here is a nightmare. When our hot water heater broke, it took weeks for someone to come out and finally replace it. When our A/C broke in the middle of a heatwave when I was 7-8 months pregnant, it took a month for someone to finally repair it. And this morning my seven-month-old and I were rudely woken up by an extremely obnoxious buzzing and banging noise coming from the unit directly behind me (and my bedroom) that’s been ongoing since 8:30AM. There was absolutely no warning that any construction would be taking place, and when I called management about it, they took hours to call me back. Now I’m crossing my fingers that I can get my baby to nap through the noise, and I am not happy at all. I do not recommend this place for several reasons, one of the biggest being that the walls are paper thin, and there’s absolutely no noise insulation between units. Then there’s the management that fails to respond to tenants or make repairs in a timely manner. They also give little warning and a vague time window for when they plan to come for inspections and the like and have no problem entering any apartment whether you are home (asleep or in the shower) or not.
I'm going on my second year here. It's very quiet and my neighbors are very nice. It's a small community. Management is quick to respond to issues and normally completes work orders within 24 hours. They also tell you if it will be more than 24 hours. The complex is easily accessible to the White Horse Pike, Philly, AC and Route 42. Also easily accessible to Cherry Hill area. Rent is very reasonable for this area. No bug problems. They keep the property very clean and the Landscapers are here once every 2 weeks. Also during the winter they are very quick about clearing the walk ways and parking lot.

Thank you for that kind review. We got nervous seeing only one star, but based on your positive comments, we are sure that is an oversight. We strive for four and five stars every time.
