Jacksonville is gigantic. At nearly 900 square miles, it is by far the largest city in the contiguous United States, in terms of geographical area. The landscape is so vast and varied that you are almost certain to find any kind of environment that suits you. From the high-rise buildings downtown to the marina condos along the river to the suburban neighborhoods farther from the urban core, your apartment rental options in Jacksonville are nearly endless.
Jacksonville is never short on leisure activities. The dining and entertainment offerings are top notch, from the bustling nightlife in downtown to the upscale shopping at Saint Johns Town Center and everything in between. Football fans will feel right at home in Jacksonville as NFL Jaguars games tend to draw big crowds no matter how the team is doing. The Jags’ home field has also served as neutral turf for the annual University of Florida-University of Georgia rivalry game each Halloween weekend for decades.

Property Ratings at Laurel Pointe
The people at the front office is the worst, So disrespectful and say they going to send info and never send again, hang up on the costumer
We have lived here for the past year and have been happy. For the price, it is a decent apartment in a safe area. The building is old and so there are some issues with the plumbing, the cabinets, A/C, etc. Once we call, maintenance comes quickly but the fix doesn't always last or look very pretty. With this market, this place is a good value for your money.
We've lived here for about 4 months now, every couple of weeks something breaks or starts to leak. There was a leak under the kitchen sink that we told them about when we moved in, someone came and said there was no leak, then about a month later it had leaked through the wall into the living room causing flooding that caused some damage to our belongings. Not only that when they took the panel off the wall behind the sink to stop the leak, there was black mold all over. They wiped it off and did nothing else about it or the mold I'm positive is all through that wall. Then when our hot water heater busted a couple weeks ago and again flooded in our apartment it was about a week before we had hot water again. We have a four month old, and they took A WHOLE WEEEK to fix our hot water. Not to mention the bug (roaches and fleas) infestation that has been there since we moved in that they keep saying they spray for but its still a big problem. We dont have any pets so the fleas definitely arent coming from us. Dont even get me started on the structural damage that's very obvious they just painted over and called it a day. I constantly feel like our roof is about to cave in anyday. All around this is an awful apartment and WAY over priced. Also they claim the utilities are included, but they're not. The only decent human that works here is the matience lady. Definitely dont recommend anyone ever living here.

Hello Kiersten. We're so sorry to hear that you've had these experiences within our community. Please reach out to our office at 904-724-7442 or laurelpointe@allegiant-carter.com so that we can discuss these issues and work on improving your experience. Thank you.
The apartments are shabby, old, floors are creaky, walls are paper thin. Every little sound that your neighbor makes comes into your apartment. If you live on ground floor apartment it will be even worse when they walk above you the loud creaky floors and stomping of the foot steps will drive you insane. If they have kids who run it will be hell for you. you will not have a moment of peace and quiet. Large groups of people (residents and outsiders) gather on the stairwells and in parking lots, drink publicly in the open, play loud music, engage in loud conversations, partying goes till late in the night 3-4 times a weeks disturbing residents' peace and quiet. Not uncommon to find beer bottles strewn every where. The people attending the parties have no place to urinate so they go right behind the dumpster resulting in a stench. This is especially true in the building at the end of the apartment complex. It was a nightmarish experience for me. I could not live peacefully or get a good night's sleep. The apartment management has no control over them. Please learn from my experience and AVOID this complex otherwise you will regret.

I recently moved to Laurel Pointe Apartments (Dec. 2017) after doing a long search for housing. I stopped by simply to inquire and left with so much information and motivation to move in immediately. This was very important to me because other complexes did not deem it important to contact me back instantaneously, so to feel welcomed by simply inquiring was a definite thumbs up! Justin (Property Manager) is the greatest! He is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. He gave me a breakdown of everything and ensured that he explained everything thoroughly. There weren't any available apartments to view at the time, but he committed to contacting me within the next few days when one was available to show. He was definitely a man of his word! I was able to view a 1 bedroom apartment immediately after he called me, and I was very impressed! Once we got back to the office, I decided to apply. The next day, I had results and was approved to move in. Let's just say that this was a VERY easy transaction. Prior to moving in, Finlay Management, Inc. hired another friendly employee. Her name is Shana (Assistant Manager). She took over the process and showed me the exact apartment that I would be moving into. While doing a walk through she noticed things before I did and told me that she would have it perfect before move in. That she did!! We spoke roughly 3 times on different occasions before I moved in and each time she was very humble, dedicated, and personable. I even had an issue the day after move-in, so I contacted Shana, and maintenance was on it in a jiffy! She truly treats you like family! I would encourage prospective tenants to move here because it is convenient, family-friendly, SAFE, and rewarding. There are seasonal parties (I was invited to the Christmas party), snacks when you enter the office, and a very clean facility! Couldn't have asked for a better community. Thank you Finlay Management, Inc. & Laurel Pointe staff!
I just moved here In June and let me say for older apartments they are very up kept clean and quiet rent is affordable and office employees are nice and does a lot for the community. I plan on staying here for a while.
