Property Ratings at LC Dublin
On Sunday my husband and I came to this apartment in desperate need of a place to move in because my husband got a new job around this area. The lady in charge was so nice, kind, professional. In fact words cannot describe her wonderful customer relations. Even though my husband and I were going back and forth because of price. She was so calm, understanding and friendly. Woow. This place is wonderful.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review. I am thrilled you had a great experience during your visit. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
I've lived at LC Dublin since March of 2022. Our actual unit is lovely, we've enjoyed living here but the reason for the one star review is due to the maintenance staff. We've been out of a washer since October 28th and maintenance was notified immediately. We had to reschedule the maintenance appointment 3 times to even get them to come out to look at it, as they just didn't show up the first two times regardless of having a scheduled appointment. When they finally did come out, they said we'd need to replace the washer and they would order it immediately and would come out the following week and drain the dirty water out of our washer. Here we are two months later with dirty water STILL in our washer and no replacement washer. They've even told us 3 separate dates as to when the appliance will be installed, and after having a maintenance worker come back out on the 3rd installation date, he tells us there's no washer even delivered yet? We have emails stating that the washer is delivered and will be installed, so please explain to me why now a maintenance worker is telling me there's no washer and they are waiting on a delivery. Their lack of communication and being full of excuses is ridiculous at this point. I would never recommend living here regardless of the actual unit being nice and the property being nice because you're out of luck if something ever breaks and you need to rely on maintenance.
Takes forever to get stuff fixed with no care or communication. Not worth the higher rent price

Hello, We are so sorry to hear we have missed the mark on this. Please reach out to the office and request to speak with Gabrielle. I would like the opportunity to turn this experience around for you. -Gabrielle
This place is absolutely horrible. The Goat plays music so loudly that you can't sleep (unfortunately we also have a small kid), so don't plan to live anywhere near the leasing office. This pretty much eliminates about half the apartments on the property, unless you plan to stay up until 1 AM on weekends. I've complained to the management, but they obviously don't care because nothing has changed. My next step is to contact the Columbus City Police to file a noise ordinance violation. It would've been nice if the leasing office would've warned us that living within a mile of The Goat with a small kid was a bad idea since he was with us at every apartment showing, but the only mention of living near The Goat was that it gets busy on weekends and parking might be tight. That's the least of the problem!
Apartments onto of apartments. So nice and so quiet
If you're looking for food, assorted brews, and year-round entertainment, you need look no further than your own backyard! The Goat (Restaurant & Bar)
I have been living at the Paddock now for a year and a half. I love everything about this place. It is full of young professionals! The townhouse that I rent is not only spacious, but located right near the pool, The Goat (restaurant) and the gym. The amenities are wonderful! Any time I have ever had a maintence issue, it was fixed either that day or the next upon my request. Everyone staffed here is so helpful and kind! Not only do I love it here, but my dog is in heaven. The paddock is super dog friendly. I have extended my lease twice now because I just love my place so much. Will probably look to buy out here once I decide to stop renting. This is a great place to live!
We just moved in and love it already. The staff is super nice and helpful and our place is really nice. We live in the Bentley Townhouse and have no problem with noise. Love it here!
The Paddock at Hayden run has been everything I've been looking for and more. Maintenance is fast and usually has the issue resolved in 24 hours or less, the pool and workout facilities are always in impeccable shape, and of course the apartments themselves are beautiful! I'd recommend this place to everyone... And I have!
I have lived at the Paddock for only about 3 months but since the beginning of my apartment search they have been amazing. I started looking January 2014 and was put on a waiting list. We were updated monthly and when we finally decided on an apartment the process was seamless. We have always loved the staff at the front office and they have always been so helpful. We had worked with the former property manager since January on multiple occasions. However they have a new property manager now, Keith has been very helpful with whatever we have needed and is always available to help. I am so happy I decided to live at the Paddock and see myself calling this place home for many more years to come.
Truly the best thing about this place is the safety factor...as long as you don't live too close to The Goat, then you have a bunch of drunks hanging around. The finishes in the apartments look nice, but upon further inspection you will find that they used the cheapest materials possible. The wood floors get dents and scratches from the slightest touch and the walls with dent and ding just by bumping them. I live on the bottom floor and can hear my upstairs neighbors constantly. They aren't loud it's just the cheapness of the apartment. You'd swear that the man above us weight 500 lbs. He doesn't, he's actually quite fit. The stairs to the building shake and shimmy every time someone goes up or down and you can feel your walls vibrating with it. The office staff when we moved in was far more helpful than the ones in the office now. The current staff acts as though you are bothering them and make you feel very unwelcome. The maintenance staff while friendly, frequently has to come out more than once to fix a simple plumbing backup. I have frequent issues with my washer and dryer, dishwasher, the bath tub backing up, and sinks backing up. Also I found out recently that if you are on the bottom floor you have the hot water heater in next to your washer and dryer whereas the floors above you do not have that...they get the extra storage. So, yes you share one hot water heater for the three floors. If I had known all of this beforehand, I would have never moved here.
For the amount of money they charge in rent you'd think they would have used better material when building the apartments. I can basically smell what my neighbors are cooking, I can hear them do everyday things like walk up and down the stairs, close cabinets, etc. They are not being loud, the walls are just that thin. I understand that noise and hearing your neighbors is standard in apartment living, but I have lived in enough apartments to know that these are cheap. The appliances are cheap, the stove has no self-cleaning, the refrigerator has no ice maker, and the dishwasher is loud, and runs for hours. The carpet was worn down when we moved in. The blinds are cheap and break easily. The plumbing is awful. The utilities are so high due to poor insulation. The only positive thing is the staff and the maintenance, they must be used to fixing things because they are very sympathetic when you have issues, which you will. Don't move here.
I've lived at the Paddock for a few months. I actually love living here. It's a little far from the city but other than that I don't mind the location. I like how new my apartment feels and I like the freedom that we are given here. The Paddock isn't a property that makes you feel like you're living in a jail and not your home. No complaints this way!
Look somewhere else, here's why: 1) Property management has been unwilling to address complaints and has also been unresponsive to complaints. 2) Don't plan to pack a cooler with snacks and refreshments for your trip to the pool. The Goat bar employees routinely check bags, presumably so tenants and guests spend money at the bar. 3) One-lane roads. Snow plows come days later, after snow has compacted to ice. 4) Dog feces is a problem. 5) Overgrown weeds do not create curb appeal.
I have enjoyed the two years that I have lived at the Paddock at Hayden Run. The people that live here are young professionals and you do not have to worry about your car being broken into every night. The utility bills seem high, but they include your electric water and trash. I pay on average $70 a month for electricity in a 2 bedroom unit. That is low compared to other places that I have lived. The staff is very helpful and willing to help you out any way that they can. Maintenance has resolved the few issues that we have had in a very quick manner. The trips and activities put on by LC have made me enjoy living the good life.
Do you like sleeping? Then don't move here! Every night I am kept up by the goat/ obnoxiously loud people then I'm woken up extra early by construction vehicles driving back and forth in front of my house. The walls/windows are so thin you hear everything. I tried to go to the pool one weekend but couldn't even get a lawn chair....it wasn't very relaxing. The apartments look nice but its far from what it really is. Trash is a huge problem because there is only one main dumpster for the whole place (all the way in the back)...or you can let the trash sit and stink up your house until they let you put it outside Thursday and Monday morning for pickup. The streets are packed with cars on each side...everyday I drive through its like playing Russian roulette because it becomes a one way street/passage way. The winter is even worse because they Dont keep the apartments roads clean.
The location is remote - you are far away from the good life (you're in suburbia!). I can't step outside without constantly checking for dog feces - too many people don't pick up after their pets, and the management seems to be ok with that. The utility bills are outrageous - you pay a lot of "hidden fees" that make-up nearly a third of your bill (2-bedroom apartment: $200/month!). The apartments are cheaply made: shag carpeting, hospital style thin window blinds, dorm-looking faucets and hardware. For such high rent - it is truly a shame not to have higher-quality finishes! The worse part is winter - they plow the grounds when it is unbearable. I had to call in to work several times for being late because I got stuck. So prepare yourself for the good life: live pretty far from everything, pay more than 30% more for utilities, pay $150-$200/month more for rent (than other comparable apartments nearby), and drive a heavy machinery to be able to get to work during winter. They do offer a cash bar (drinking until 2:30am), a small pool, a fitness center, and beach volleyball (if that is what you're looking for).
I was super excited to move here for the legendary Goat, resort style pool and the allure of brand new apartments. While the Goat and pool have lived up to their reputation, the apartment is considerable less than stellar. The quality of the apartments is ghastly. The toilets are constantly clogging, water pressure is little more than a drizzle, windows are terrible and drafty and I can hear every footstep of my neighbors or the slightest conversation outside. The electric bills are outrageous, I'm guessing there's not much insulation and the floor plans are dated. Rooms, closets and bathrooms are tiny by any standards and everything feels very "cramped" even though its technically a decent sized apartment. If you're not as concerned with the actual apartment as you are the lifestyle, then this community would be perfect for you. It's a blast and very involved. Just don't expect too much from the apartment itself.
