Property Ratings at LC Gahanna
Initially, I was sold on the dream on moving here because they sell you a really good lie. Then when you get here it is a whole different story. Maintenance sucks at fixing stuff and property staff is no better. Once you get in your place expect a high electric bill they don't tell you about because they go through NEP that will run about 400 a month and i am one person that lives in a fraction of my place. Keeping my heat on 62 and I have weather proofed everything. My neighbors have moved out on each side and one place will be vacant going on a year. So think really hard about it. They will sell you a dream and then you will be in the Projects
My move in date was 6.20 and since that day I have regretted moving into this place. Had absolutely no problems with taking my money. But when I moved into my townhome freaking ridiculous on how it was left. They make all these promises but this place is TRASH

Thank you for taking the time to provide your valuable feedback. If you need anything please do not hesitate to reach back out to the leasing office directly. We are certainly glad you are here and chose LC Gahanna, this feedback only helps us get better. and we would love to help with anything still outstanding. 614-933-9854
After two and a half years of being great tenants, we were informed that we could not re-sign our lease because they wanted to renovate the unit. A comparable unit would involve a $500-600 rent increase. When I reached out via email and phone, I got no questions answered including the lease end date. I found a new apartment complex and informed them I would be vacating in 60 days. Their quick response to that news let me know that we would be fined for leaving three weeks early. There has been zero cooperation with them since they gave me less than three months notice of the need to move while the coming months include many holidays. Aside from the recent issues, we have also dealt with constantly closing amenities, construction for roughly a year, days where they shut off the water or electricity even with people working from home, appliances that are lackluster, and streets and sideways that are rarely plowed in the winter. I was content when we moved in, but it was been going downhill lately or they only care about bringing people in rather than retaining. Many of the units near mine have been single lease tenants.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback Sammy. Your feedback only helps us get better. We know that the news of not be able to renew was a shock. This is your home. We hope that the new Goat Restaurant and the Morning Ritual Coffee shop, the new gym equipment, all make our community that much better, that is our ultimate goal, to provide our community with new updates and new wonderful spaces for people to join. We invite you into the leasing office to discuss any transfer options you might be interested in, we have many wonderful upgraded homes to offer. LC Gahanna Mgmt. 614-933-9854
Pls stay away from this community . Pls stay away from this community . They are not professional in anyway . They charge exorbitant amount of money once you move out .Pls make sure you pull out and check the carpets to see if there are no stains so that you have a proof that you they have replaced the carpets .Pet wastes around door steps as well .Its horrible experience.

Thank you for the feedback Pete. We would love to invite you to our leasing office to chat on your experience for the 3 years of residency as well as your move out damage charges. We are happy to chat through the items to provide further clarity on any concern you might have. This feedback only helps us improve. Please let us know when a good time to meet would be. Lived there for over a year and most of the appliances broke (though maintenance was good about fixing issues). They make you use their own utility company which charges crazy amounts (way higher than they quoted us when we were looking into moving there). Even the last month of our lease (when no one lived there, no lights or a/c was on) the utility bill ended up being nearly $200 for a two bedroom (so factor high utility bills in the cost). Pet friendly (lots of people with dogs, and provide bags to pick up waste) Pool/ volleyball area can get rowdy (which isnt bad unless you live near there and go to bed early) Overall not a bad place to live but not worth the price
This complex is amazing if you are looking in the Gahanna area. I once had a package delivered around Christmas and I called the leasing office to pick it up for me because I didn't want it left outside (due to rain). They picked it up for me and I was able to get it after work at the leasing office. They actually care about the residents and the community and I would recommend this to anyone. I love this community, and what all it has to offer. The employees are always willing to help in whatever way they can. Again, outstanding community! Marquita is an excellent leasing agent and I recommend asking for her. She will keep you in the loop with everything and is very thorough when it comes to her work. We appreciate everything she did for us!
I moved here from Chicago. Did not see the place at all before but Marquita was awesome and made sure everything was taken care of and the apartment was ready! It was exactly what she said it’s a great community to live in. I also transferred recently to larger apartment and again she took care of everything was very easy to work with and made the transition and move very easy. The GOAT is a great place and having it helped me adjust on my move to a new city along with the workout facility and pool area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I speak with.
I have lived at the LC Gahanna for 1.5 years. The neighborhood is always well kept, the office staff is great. I have work with Marquita several times and she has always gone above and beyond. The maintenance crew is great as well and always friendly. If an issues arises, the staff hears your concerns and deals with the situation right away. I love living in a LC community and highly recommend LC Gahanna.
Do not even put in an application here unless you have outstanding credit and make 6 times the monthly rent. The apartments and grounds are beautiful. For the listed price you'd think the average person with a good income could get approved to live and that is what we were lead to believe when visiting the location on a couple visits. We were never informed of the guidelines they require to get approved for a $1400 a month apartment. We we lead to believe that with 3 good incomes and at least one fair to good credit score was no problem. We were denied with no explanation and asked to add a 4th co-signer. After that we were denied again and advised that a co signer would need to make about 6 times the monthly rent in order for them to approve the application. The manager would not inform us of the credit requirements and wouldn't work with us have 3 incomes, together making well above the 6 times rent. The are likely wage discriminating and hiding it behind made up requirements they don't tell you till you've been denied and given them the application fee, STAY AWAY!
I'm a young professional in the Columbus area and was looking for an upscale flat. I love it here. Just renewed my lease. When I rent, I'm all about the amenities, and the LC's are outstanding. The apartments themselves look so clean and modern, plumbing and fixtures are brand new and I love the wood floors in my flat. The gym and fitness classes are high end, and the whole complex is perfect for runners and walkers alike. They have bar service AT THE POOL where they literally deliver your drinks to your chair. Also, so many puppies! The LC is very pet friendly (I have a cat), and I've really enjoyed meeting some the neighborhood dogs on my walks. And don't worry, everyone does a great job of cleaning up after their pups :)
We love the location of our townhouse, directly across from the two pools, bar, and fitness center. Easton, the outdoor mall is just a few miles away. The 1225 sq. ft. townhouse has three stories, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an attached garage, and washer/dryer in unit. It is everything we wanted in a Columbus apartment. The down side to this great apartment are the utilities. The apartment complex, LC Preserve Crossing, requires you to buy your electricity through their sister company, Nationwide Energy Partners. They charge additional amounts on your electric bill, above and beyond what the utility company charges them. This is called "sub-metering" and our highest heating bill was over $550 dollars.
I have been living at the Perserve Crossing for 9 months in a 2 bedroom town home. The maintenance staff and leasing office has been great to work with. The apartments are quiet (we never hear our neighbors). The interior is modern and up to date, and was very clean upon move in. I would highly recommend living here.
Apartment: We have one of the Stansbury II two bedroom townhomes with the basic trim package (laminate floor kitchen, basic appliances, carpeted everything else). They are built well and offer enough space to fit the needs of 2-3 people. My wife and I live here with our dog, the second bedroom makes a great office. The garage is as wide as the apartment, making it plenty wide for a car and then storage on both sides of the vehicle. We haven't had many loud neighbors, but every now and then, when they are watching a loud movie, we can hear our neighbors TV or music through the walls. Maintenance: The staff gets to maintenance requests usually same or next day. Just make sure to leave a detailed request so they know what to fix. However, when there is maintenance on the whole property they often provide little notice. For example they re-cemented the sidewalk to our door and notified us via email after the work started. Community: They have everything here! Pool, great work out facility, and even a bar/restaurant. The Om fitness center offers fun free classes 5-6 nights a week to residents. These include yoga, spinning, bar, and other stuff to keep you fit. The pool has two areas, one seems to get populated by families with kids and the other with young adults tanning, eating, and drinking. With there being so many community activities it is sort of like a retirement community for young people (in a good way). Area: Very suburban. Easton mall is close and its 15-20 minutes to downtown, there are some good restaurants even closer than Easton too like 101 Beer Kitchen and The B Spot. Also the Blendenwood Metro Park is close and it great to go on walks/jogs through the woods there. Just be aware than everything requires you to drive there since, other than the Goat (LC's bar), you can't easily walk anywhere.
