Finding an apartment for rent in Hilliard, Ohio is one of those things you can look forward to. A quaint town, with just over 30,000 people calling it home, it is the ideal place to raise a family, go to school, or just spend time relaxing. It is the largest suburb of Columbus, Ohio, the state's capital city. And, with that proximity (and ease of drive into the heart of Columbus) Hilliard is one of the best places to call home. Finding an apartment here is rather easy to do, and you'll have your pick of a variety of styles, ages, and communities. Yet, Hilliard has much more to offer than just a residential area. It's popular with just about all age groups and is rather affordable compared to living in the heart of Columbus.
What's interesting about this city is its passion for sports. You can look to Columbus, Cincinnati, or even Cleveland to the north for the professional football, baseball, and basketball teams, though. Here, in Hilliard, it is all about the local sports teams.

Property Ratings at LC Hilliard
We have lived in the community for about 3 months and have had a wonderful experience. When moving in, we inspected the apartment and discussed issues with the management team (Emily has been AWESOME). They fixed all of our issues with a very quick turnaround, we were so impressed. Even with getting a couple appliances replaced due to issues, our issues were solved very timely and to our complete satisfaction. They maintenance staff (especially Devin), has been extremely helpful, friendly, and respectful when entering the house to help complete our requests. The management has actively checked in to ensure that our problems were solved satisfactorily as well! We love that they have recycling pick up, trash gets picked up right from your front door, there is an awesome trail around the complex, and the location is spectacular! We are so happy with our home!!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to share about your experience thus far at LC Hilliard! We are so happy to have you here! Please let us know if there is anything further we can do to enhance your stay with us! - Your team at LC Hilliard
We enjoy living in LC Hilliard and like the townhomes here. Previously we lived in a one bedroom with neighbors above us and we heard them all the time so we had to leave. I can’t speak for the one bedrooms here, but we love our townhome. It’s great for us and our dog and we enjoy The Goat as they deliver and it’s close. Our townhome makes us feel like it’s our house and we are very content with this place. We will be here for a few years for sure! Would recommend this place.
Upon moving in everything seemed wonderful. Located in a nice area, close to work, great looking apartments, nice common area with a bar and gym. However, all of that is completely ruined once you take a deeper look. Apartments are cheaply built, bar tops are made of plywood, cabinets have laminate on them that peels, appliances are cheap and constantly break, patio doors don't lock, wiring is bad (electricity didn't work in my bedroom for the first couple of days when I moved in), etc. All of this is pretty bad, but the worst thing by far is the fact that this place is owned by a greedy penny-pinching company that will squeeze as much money possible out of you (LC). Not to mention that this place is partnered with Nationwide Energy Partners, which is the shadiest energy provider in Columbus. I'm being charged almost 300 a month for a one bedroom! The only good thing is that maintenance and the ladies up front are really nice and helpful. It's not their fault LC charges ridiculous prices for cheaply made apartments and is partnered with the shadiest energy provider in town. I wish I would've done more research. If you're looking for a nice place in the Columbus area, make sure to avoid LC and ALWAYS ASK MANAGEMENT WHO THEIR ENERGY PROVIDER IS (if it’s Nationwide, leave as soon as you can). This will save you a lot of money and heartache.

Unfortunately, we are unable to identify you based off of this review but would like to speak with you directly to explore possible solutions to help with your utility expenses. Please reach out to us at 614.654.5700 or lchilliard@lifestylecommunities.com and a member of LC Management would be happy to assist you. We look forward to hearing from you!
The apartment itself is good. But the fact they charge you for carpet replacement after you move out is a joke.

The good: - Wood floors and three stories are nice - Conveniently located near grocery stores and the freeway - Relatively modern - Residents and staff are generally friendly - The Goat is a nice place to have dinner within walking distance - Attached garages for a car or extra storage - On site workout facility wasn't huge, but enough to meet most needs The bad: - There was a persistent smell of smoke in the bedrooms. I submitted several work requests and finally gave up on getting it corrected. - This was also true with fixing blinds. I finally gave up and just did them myself - Related to item 1, my neighbors smoked cigarettes and pot on the balcony and the odor would be sucked up by the air intakes and was often noticeable in the apartment. - The three level layout is nice, but in order to keep the bedrooms from being boiling hot, I had to keep my office on the first floor freezing. I ended up buying a space heater, which significantly impacted my electric bill. - The microwave handle broke in the final few weeks and I forgot to put in a service request. I was charged $200 even though the mounting screws were fine. I wish I would have just glued the broke piece back together and grabbed a screwdriver to remount it myself - would have taken 10 minutes. - Some common external maintenance items, such as cleaning baked on dust on the AC air intake, had to be initiated by me. - Paid $50 a month for a pet fee (so around $1000 total), yet had to pay $700 in damage for carpet on a landing (15 sq feet, perhaps) and also in the office area. Not sure what the $50 a month was for (no on-site dog park and periodically dog poop bags couldnt be found in the provided areas). - The complex is close to railroad tracks and the freeway and you are exposed to the associated noise. - They advertise that part of your rent can be used to buy a house, but this is only if you go with their selected real estate agent. - Walls are thin and the enclosed nature of the buildings can lead to a lot of noise when people are partying on the balconies. The apartment is pretty standard. The three levels was a nice way to have separation. The price is high for what you get, but probably in line with other places in Hilliard. The community was nice, though quite a bit of turnover. In retrospect, I would have picked a different place to live.

Hello,Thank you so much for the feedback. We always strive to provide a great living experience for our residents and I apologize that didn't happen for you. We would be happy to discuss and address your concerns if you'd like to reach out to the leasing office. LC Hilliard Management
My husband and I lived at LC Hilliard from October 2018-August 2019. We resided in one of their three story townhomes. Our townhome was very spacious, clean, and quiet. We didn't encounter many maintenance issues during our short stay, but when we did the maintenance requests were promptly responded to and resolved in an appropriate manner. The office staff is amazing and we simply can't say enough about their kind personalities, helpfulness, and professionalism. We are sad to be leaving this wonderful community, and we would recommend moving here to anyone interested in living in the Hilliard area.

When I was getting ready to relocate to Columbus I looked at 10 apartment complex’s in one day! LC Brooklands was the first, and it being the first I kind of pushed it to the back of my mind, well long story short, what didn’t stand out was the apartments (I was looking at a bunch), what stood out was the Office Staff! They followed up, emailed me pictures, checked in on me and really made me feel like I was wanted. I chose them and have no looked back! Everything is super close (Giant Eagle, Dentist, UrgentCare, and even a great spot for brunch!) Having the Goat within walking distance is probably the coolest thing ever! My only gripe is the gym could be bigger but that’s even a stretch.
LC brooklands in Hilliard is amazing and gorgeous. The staff is friendly, the environment has a young lady, professional feel without young kids running around, and the range of activities will keep you busy.
The LC Brooklands literally has everything I was looking for in an apartment, and then some. Brand new, and so nice! First of all, the space you get for the price here is much better than virtually any of the comparable trendy apartment comolexes in Columbus. Trust me, I know, I searched all over Columbus before landing on the LC Brooklands. The finishes are beautiful and modern and there is tons of closet space. I can always find parking close to my place, my trash gets picked up at my doorstep every week and he community is super pet-friendly. I'd be remisced not to mention the amenities here, which are the best of any apartment complex I've seen in Columbus, in my opinion. The pool is awesome! It's larger than most complexes' and it's a great hang out spot on weekends. Not to mention the two sand volleyball courts and the gym which is great for an apartment complex gym. Best of all is The Goat, the awesome inside/outside bar and restaurant INSIDE the complex right next to the pool. Great environement and even better food! Another huge reason why I chose the LC was because of all the community events they do nightly, whether it's one of the many free group fitness classes or wine tasting. They also are involved in numerous charitable activities, which I thought was really cool. I know it probably sounds like I'm getting paid by them based on this review, but I really just couldn't be happier with my decision to live here. The only downside would be that it's not as close to the downtown/ short north area as I'd like but all of the positives totally out weight that. Plus, it's only about a 15 minute drive. Also, Tuttle Mall and Mill Run Shopping Center is literally right here. After searching all over Columbus and seeing every newer complex, I couldn't be happier with my choice to live here.
LC Brooklands has excellent amenities from the Om fitness center with group fitness classes to the pool and beach volleyball courts. The ladies at the front office are very helpful and quick to respond to questions. The complex is dog friendly, and the other residents are great neighbors. I am renting the Stansbury townhouse, which I love. It offers a lot of room for the price. I have a garage, but there is plenty of parking for both residents and visitors. Some of the finishes are a little cheap (e.g., the towel bars are adhered to the wall with command strips instead of nails, the paint chips/scuffs easily) and not all the rooms have light fixtures (they are all wired), but these are non-issues for me. There's a ton of storage space in the garage. I love the stacked washer and dryer off the kitchen. It is located right next to a Giant Eagle and very close to many restaurants. The Goat (restaurant) is located next to the front office and is a great place to grab a drink/food, watch a game on TV, and meet people. LC Brooklands is also close to I-270, which is convenient for my morning commute to the Wexner Medical Center. All in all, I am very happy with LC Brooklands and would highly recommend it to other potential renters!
