I lived there for years and saw a steady decline in every aspect of living. The actual property itself is deteriorating and not being upkept well. The management is some of the worst we have ever experienced. I tried to reach out to the actual property manager and share our concerns and we were met with complete apathy. The price is cheap, and there is a reason for it. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

We toured here recently and was told by the leasing agent that the leasing staff and restaurant workers at the same location live in the same community at a discounted rate. It sounds like favoritism to me. If there was an issue, they would probably get treated better. We will look elsewhere.

This location is poorly ran by management. Seems like there is a dis connection with the residents and the leasing staff. We would give it negative 10 stars if possible. They are forcing the good people who spend money out for broke poor people who won’t last here for 6 months.

If you are considering living here, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Firstly, the units are extremely overpriced for what you get - the appliances may look nice on the outside, but they are very cheap and I have had issues with the washer and dryer, fridge, dishwasher and garbage disposal on multiple occasions Secondly, there is a clear disconnect between management and the front desk staff. I've received conflicting information on parking garage regulations, move-out notices, and general questions. No one is on the same page, and it shows. You will get burned if you do not document your communications over email. If you call, make sure to have written confirmation, as one person will tell you one thing and another will tell you something totally different. Third, this community cares about one thing and one thing only - and it's not you. It's your money and how they can convince you to sign with them - do not be fooled by the promise of the amenities that this complex offers you. A main reason I signed with this complex was because they listed a pool on site as a commodity. I came to find out this would not in fact be available due to construction....in the summer....when the pool was supposed to be open. Extremely poor planning, and when they offered a pool at a community a 20m drive away, the pool had literal garbage and algae collecting. It was disgusting and already frustrating to have to make a trip for something that I compromised extra money for. When my washer and dryer broke, it took several days for them to fix the problem. Long story short, not worth the money! I wish I had read the reviews before I signed here.

In regards to the pool, we absolutely understand how frustrating this is. We have been waiting on city approval to start construction for the past 6 months. Its been a full month and my experience is as follows: the good: - great views - close to all of the downtown parks and events - plenty natural light - finishes are nice - trash chutes are convenient the bad: - You can hear everything outside - The building that I live in is not secure. The garage doors are always up. The front door and key entry are faulty and are open sometimes and won't open when you need it to sometimes. I haven't seen much effort to make the building more secure. - Someone keeps coming in the building and stealing packages [hence unsecure]. Actually they open every package, take what they want, and leave what they don't want. So the front office told me to start getting them mailed there and two of my packages still came up missing. - Scheduling mainx is a good luck kind of situation.

We just moved here from the Short North and unfortunately, this has been a poor experience so far. We have complained multiple times about neighbors that play hip-hop music throughout the night. Management does not care or do anything about it. I can also hear chairs moving around all night. This place is below mediocre at best. Our Short North apartment did not have any of these issues. Our response from the leasing consultants has been, well, that’s just the way it is. Unfortunately, we hear the same complaints from other friends that live here.

Wasted 3 weeks trying to get actual apartment pictures. written off with website random tours. Review and listen get it writing. Very unprofessional. Treat, you like you have no brain.

They used to solicit people for good reviews. There is no way people who live in these buildings actually give this a 4 or 5 star rating. Everything in the building is broken from the elevators to the key pads and doors. Everything is dirty and common spaces are gross. This place is extremely over priced and parking is a total nightmare costing hundreds of dollars of month for a space. Electric is regulated by nationwide and is a total racket. We price-share and I pay almost $150 a month for a 700sq ft apartment I have NEVER turned the AC on in. Go anywhere else for better quality and better prices.

I moved into the new building above The Goat in June. Soon after moving in we began have a fruit fly issue. This issue was unable to be resolved after over a month of dealing with flies in our drinks, fridge, freezer, and food. We moved out of the apartment due to the fruit fly issue and are still being required to pay for a bug infested apartment until December. I would not suggest moving into this complex.
I have lived at RiverSouth for four years and absolutely LOVE it! I have lived in MANY communities around Downtown and RiverSouth has BY FAR been nicest quality and best constructed apartment I have ever lived in. I never hear my neighbors, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and there's still plenty of green space which is had to find Downtown.w The location is perfectly situated between the Scioto Mile and the Columbus Commons so there is TONS to do! You can walk just about anywhere, Brewery District, Arena District, even The Short North! We have thought about purchasing a home but we have been so spoiled with quality and location we can't imagine moving!
