Property Ratings at Le Med Apartments
You get what you pay for, like the other reviewer says. The rent is very reasonable for the central location near N Lamar and nearby shops/medical facilities. The interior is fairly dated but recently renovated. If you live on the first floor, you may see some pests as per usual. Maintenance is usually very prompt. Management is alright. Updated laundry room. I would say its best for recent graduates or college students.
Thin walls, no parking spots after about 8pm, outadated appliabces and fixtures, interesting neighbors/visitors wandering from nearby hospital, expensive pet fees ($600 per pet),and awful management - get ready to fight with landlord for anything and everything. Pros: Good location, affordableish rent. Good luck!
The buildings are older, but well maintained. The complex has a 70's motel vibe with a kidney shaped pool. The apartment itself is very basic but for the price in the area is a great deal. Apartments do not have washer/dryer hookups but there is a small laundrette on premises that is sufficient. I personally have had few issues that needed attention. When I did place a maintenance request, the property manager was quick to take care of the issue. The surrounding neighborhood is nice and quiet and has a great park. These apartments are perfectly located within walking distance of great restaurants and upscale shopping. Downtown Austin is just 10 minutes away and there is always something fun to experience.
