Property Ratings at Leander Lakes
Just wanted to leave a note telling Leander lakes that they have finally gotten the right Manager for these apartments. Jessica is wonderful I see her walking the grounds everyday and the grounds look beautiful. The pool was very dirty when the pool company was working on it. Jessica has it cleaned to perfection. We are very lucky to have Jessica. This apartment complex never has looked so beautiful. She is your ace in the whole without her it would not look the same. We have already had some other people in her position that did nothing to keep our surroundings looking so beautiful. Thank you so much for this hard working Manager.
Property Manager at Leander Lakes, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for the kind words! We agree, Jessica is amazing!
Brown water when we took our tour. Spoke to friends who stay there and they mentioned the bad sewage and brown water. Ended up paying a $500 deposit and was expecting a lease. Chunk of time went by, never got the lease, multiple phone calls/emails later and never got ahold of them. Finally called back and got an answer today and asked to just cancel the application and refund the $500, and the manager said you're not getting your money back, so take the apartment or leave it. That's some good service right there.
Worse community to with dirty and stinky utility water. I lived at 400 block for 2 years and nothing ever changed. All my neighbors at the 500 block and all other units complained about the same stinky poop water that comes out when you turn on the water. My daughter wanted to wash her hair and was shocked either poop or dirty sewer water poured on her head. So stinky she still experience trauma and nightmares from that experience. Go to the community and ask the neighbors at the 400 or 500 blocks. Management is very rude and does not return calls. Horrible experience and will never live at Leander lakes!
So far I’m very happy with the apartment complex and the staff. Staff is very helpful and provided detailed instructions to make leasing process easy. Tyler was very attentive and answered all inquiries within 24 hrs.
This Property Rental feels like every day and night is a vacation it is peaceful scenic beautiful landscape it was a pleasure to have to stay home two lakes walk trails Dover High School within walking distance central located to shopping center malls grocery store and fine dining restaurants Oh did I mention great caring professional staff alway there on the spot for what ever is needed Top of the line rental in Delaware
The staff at Leander Lakes have been wonderful. They are prompt and courteous to my inquiries and requests. I feel like they really listen and try to help me with my concerns. Thus, I have renewed my lease and have referred a new resident. The management team does wonderful things for its residents like fun social events for the community which makes living here such a joy! It’s a truly beautiful place to live.
This place has had 5 properties managers within a almost 2 years span. Very nice when they show you the place but after you move in your on your own. I’ve seen many come and go staff and tenants alike. They send out wrong information and never bother to corrected, litter and dog poop everywhere. And the 50 pound breed restrictions is a blatant lie. Staff is unprofessional and rude to one another in front of tenants. The walls are paper thin and hallways are dirty. It’s not worth the rent THERES NOTHING LUXURIOUS ABOUT LEANDER LAKES
Seems great from pictures but far from the truth. Paper thin walls, kitchen would shake Everytime neighbor shut their door, resident below us crashed her car into a unit filled with children while actually trying to run over her boyfriend. The damage left a family without a home and wasn't even touch for months which is odd since the entire exterior wall and balcony posts we're broken into pieces. Drunk men linger at the pool trying to start fights, the water in the unit smell like sulfur and you will suffer from high utility bills due to the poor design. Fun Fact: there are no ceiling fans or overhead lights in the bedrooms or living room. (That doesn't seem luxurious) As we were moving out maintenance stole some of our belongings, we were billed $2k for damages even tho the office staff forgot to show up to our final walkthrough assuring us we wouldn't have any issues...
