A small suburb in the Green Bay metro area, De Pere strikes a welcoming balance of country and city living. Best known as the home of St. Norbert College, De Pere is a bustling and charming town that attracts those seeking great educational opportunities. Residents also come for the affordability, beautiful historic homes, and a family-friendly atmosphere.
Situated about six miles southwest of Downtown Green Bay, the De Pere community straddles the Fox River. Some parts of the neighborhood are open to farmland, giving the area a quiet country feel. De Pere has many wonderful apartments, just a few short minutes from riverfront Voyageur Park, Brown County Fairground, and the Swan Club.

Property Ratings at Ledgecrest Estates
We set up an appointment with Debbie to see an apartment. 2 hours prior, we received a text saying to call her. We got voicemail, so we went on to the appointment. Of course, she wasn't there, so we put in another call. Again, voicemail. So we left. I texted, "Sorry we missed you"; no response. Later that afternoon, Debbie called to say the apartment had been rented, and that we were very rude. "I don't have time for this" was her retort. I assume this is the treatment we would get as tennants. No thank you!!
The apartments are located in a convenient location. They have a separate garage with direct access to apartment, which is a good thing for winter. The property manager is very responsive and mostly resolves the issues by next day. Sometimes it may be difficult to get the things fixed during weekends. The houses are very spacious inside. One bad thing I noticed was that there were lot of spider webs right outside your house, which is a bit annoying. I haven't spent a winter in this apartments, so not sure how they clean snow. I will update my review with more details.
These apartments are very nice for mid range apartments. Two bedroom have approximately 1200 square feet and they have free heat which in Wisconsin is a plus. All also come with either a 1 or 2 car garage. Also a nice feature. The drawbacks are no common areas unless you count about 1/2 acre lot with one picnic table. These properties also contain very Spartan landscaping, and are in the middle of a residential area. The landscape and surroundings are reminiscent of a military base.
