Property Ratings at Legacy at Jones Farm Apartments
The property is beautiful but while you are here, hope you don't have any questions or concerns with the front office. Everytime we had a question, from amenities to renewing our lease to late fees, they were rude and passive aggressive. I dreaded going in to the front office. The side gates are broken in this "gated community" . Our key fobs regularly don't work. Whenever this is brought up to the front office they say they'll work on it and then nothing gets done. Every other word from them is "no". Again beautiful apartments and property, but having to deal with them has definitely ruined my time here.
The apartment is in a nice area. Lots of stores. However , when I moved out I never received my full security deposit. I moved out in March, it is now September. Like others said previously, the management is horrible. I have had numerous encounters with the manager / supervisor stating that she will contact “accounting” and I would never hear anything back. Numerous phone calls, emails, voicemails.. still haven’t had the issue resolved. They don’t want you provide you with corporates information. I was told that my check would be in the mail 3 months ago. I went to the leasing office in person and was told “the refund is still on its last process of finalizing”. The apartment walls are thin, it’s very windy in that area so the the walls creak and make noise . You can hear people talking clearly outside and you’d think your window is up.
I’ve lived here for two years and couldn’t be happier. The people in the front office and the maintenance men are all so helpful. The pool is awesome and I love my apartment.
Beautiful apartments and community. Everything is good until you have to deal with the office staff about the RATS on my apartment. They put traps and poison but it is not enough. We have rat stool everywhere. They offered to transfer us to another apartment but we have to pay for all the expensive for that when we are not responsible for the issue. The office staff is rude and unprofessional. Living with a kid in an apartment infested with RATS is not recommended to anybody.
The nicest looking apartment I’ve ever lived in. However that’s where all the positives end. Despite looking dog friendly, they are anything but. Dog owners are highly scrutinized for every little detail and micromanaged by the management. They make you submit your dogs DNA so they can charge you $250 for even leaving a single nugget of dog poop that falls down inside the rocks at the poorly maintained dog park (which smells to high heaven of urine all summer, trash not taken out, k9 turf never washed, no lighting). It only costs them $75 to test the specimens, but they completely rake their tenants over the coals. While I lived there three people got a letter saying they had found dog poop belonging to their dog 5 months previously. Some of those people didn’t even own their dogs at the time they were being charged for. My dog caused a little damage in the apartment (chewed windowsill) which I let them know about prior to moving out. They said it would come out of my security deposit. No big deal right? Well they kept my security deposit and sent me a bill for $185 to pay for the damage (a new 1”x6” cut to fit and painted which was less than a $10 repair in any other circumstance). As fate would have it, a person I work with rented the apartment directly after me and sent me a picture of the “repair” job they did. They sanded it down and just painted over it. You can clearly still see a chunk taken out of the windowsill. They also charged me for $2500 for new carpeting even though there was nothing wrong with it when I left ( which if they blatently lied about repairing the other damage, I have a hard time believing they did anything at all). I have pictures and my final move out walkthrough on video. I left the apartment pristine. I’ll go to my grave with that debt.
I lived here for 1.6 years. After I moved out, they sent me a refund check. I never got. I signed a affidavit. I still have not gotten my check.
Property Manager at Legacy at Jones Farm Apartments, Responded To This Review

The management at Legacy Farms deletes ALL poor reviews. So, I had to rate them high but here is what happened to my family. After providing Evergreen Real Estate Company (the group that manages Legacy Farms Apartments out of Nashville) nearly three months to respond to serious concerns that my wife and I had in how we were forced to vacate (against our will) from Legacy Farms Apartments without constitutionally protected due process, I must rate this apartment complex one star. Although Legacy Farms appears to be a place of luxerious accommodations with a high level of customer service, the reality is that this place turned over three managers in the 11 months that we lived there. Each manager interpreted the lease guidelines with a lack of consistency. Lastly, in March of 2016. my wife and I received an e-mail from management where we were thanked for being such great residents and were offered a renewal on our lease of one additional year. We communicated with management that we had no plans on moving but that we were going to opt for the month to month option with a 60 day notice. Two weeks later, we receive a letter, you guessed it, taped to the door (this is how management communicates) that was from an attorney representing Legacy Farms. The letter simply communicated that we must vacate Legacy Farms and we were NEVER given due process nor any reason as to why this decision was made when we never were late on rent (auto-draft) and we were NEVER fined for any rule violation. Management was kind enough to give us 60 days to vacate. But, we were out in two weeks. I have provide a factual and accurate review of an Apartment complex in Huntsville, Alabama that refused to provide me or my wife due process. When I reached out to Evergreen Properties in Nashville, they did not afford me or my wife due process. So, I am not going to advise you to or not to rent at Legacy Farms Apartments. For, that is for you and your family to decide. But, I am going to state emphatically that I have never been more disappointed in the local management at Legacy Farms and the individuals that lead Evergreen Real Estate in Nashville in not valuing its customers enough to give them at a minimum due process before forcing them to vacate in a country where men and women died defending our right to be heard.

I do admit that our Dog had been off the leash a few times late at night or early in the morning "taking care of his business." And, the letter went on to state that if we did not comply with the Leash rule that our Dog would be forced to leave. Lastly, in March of 2016. my wife and I received an e-mail from management where we were thanked for being such great residents and were offered a renewal on our lease of one additional year. As a former resident of legacy Farms, I was very disappointed in the management team and their lack of professionalism. I do not recommend Legacy Farms.
My family lived at Legacy Farms and recently moved to another apartment complex. Although the pool is nice, the people that manage this place are not friendly, helpful, nor are they willing to accept constructive criticism. I do not recommend this place.
Not sure where to start! Office staff is all wonderful. Maintenance men are great. Pool is one of the most amazing feeling pools I've ever been in. The grounds are kept beautifully. Complex makes sure to have events every now and then which are great. Beautiful interior on apartments. Really couldn't ask to live anywhere better!
My husband and I will be moving to Legacy at Jones Farm this fall and could not be more excited! The staff and people are friendly, the grounds are impeccable and the apartments themselves are more than we could have imagined! Paige went above and beyond to help us find the perfect apartment for us, we are so thankful for all of her help!
Over the weekend, I visited the Legacy at Jones Farm and was highly impressed with the excellent customer service provided and all of the property amenities. Out of all the apartment complexes I have viewed in Huntsville, the Legacy at Jones Farm is absolutely my favorite and offers the most for the cost per square feet. I can't wait to move in the next couple of months!
Paige went above and beyond to show the apartment compex and everything it has to offer. She even stayed after closing to make sure all of our questions were answered. Her enthusiam got us very excited about moving in and showed us how the Legacy is going to be perfect for our family. Great location and beautiful grounds.
Not only is the staff there so nice and professional, but the apartments are just gorgeous. Would suggest these to anyone!
Legacy at Jones Farm is the perfect balance of location and beauty. Convenient enough to walk to your favorite stores and close enough go hiking on a gorgeous mountain trail. The management and staff are extremely friendly and lovely to talk to. You will not find a more pleasant place to live in North Alabama.
Legacy at Jones Farm is the perfect example of resort style apartment living. Surrounded by the best of both worlds, Legacy has woods and a beautiful mountain at it’s back and dozens of stores and Target across the street from it’s front. The management pays attention to the big and small things that make a world of difference in the stress of your life. Legacy is pet friendly with incredible dog parks for big and small dog while maintaining the integrity of the rolling lawns of the complex with its doggie DNA program that allows the complex to identify doggie waste that was left unattended. The layouts of the apartments are modern and luxurious, with lots of natural light and beautiful fixtures to accent the floor plan. The kitchen is spacious and filled with granite counters and wonderful appliances. I’m so glad to call Legacy at Jones Farm my home and if you swing by for a visit, I’m sure you will too.
This is the perfect location for me. I am close to my school, and close to activities in the area. It is a nice quiet area for me to study, yet there is always something to do. The apartments are brand new, clean, amenities are well maintained and the staff has helped me with every question. I love it.
